Chapter 28: Danger is Coming

About fifty minutes later, the two arrived at their destination.

The Wild Boar Forest is actually a large sunny mountain col, where the trees that grow are basically oak, red pine, hazelnut trees, etc., which produce more seeds!

The food here is sufficient, sheltered from the wind and sunny, so the temperature is much higher than on the mountain ridge. Naturally, most of the wild boars gather here, and they are called the Wild Boar Forest by the locals!

In the mountains, there are many places like this suitable for wild boar groups to live, Wild Boar Ridge, Sow Ditch, Cannon Egg Mountain, etc.

Of course, there are many places named other names, or unnamed, and there are quite a lot of wild boars!

Wild boars are quite fierce in harming crops!

There is no such thing as leaving after eating their fill. They harm crops when they eat, and they also harm crops after they are full. It might be that the pig nose is itchy, and the pig body is also itchy!

A group of wild boars, rooting and pressing, after pressing down the crops, rolling on the crops, causing the crops to be harmed in large patches! The loss is quite heavy!

And every year there are wild boars, and things happen where people are injured in the crop fields!

Therefore, every autumn and winter, every village will organize hunters and militiamen for a big siege hunt!

Autumn siege, generally from September to October in the solar calendar, winter siege, generally in the winter lunar month!

The main target of hunting is wild boars!

Of course, there are also black bears! However, in this era, although the number of black bears is also quite large, compared to the number of wild boars, it is a drop in the bucket!

Mainly because black bears only give birth to two small bear cubs a year, and the next mating has to wait until the cubs leave the nest after 2 years! That is to say, normally one litter every three years, one to two per litter!

But wild boars are different, six or seven per litter, seven or eight, or even twelve or thirteen, normally one litter a year, very few two litters a year!

Wild boars are hunted every year, but they don't seem to decrease at all, and the number will even be more! Quite awesome!

Wang An tied the big stallion to a tree, untied the sack containing the grass feed, and placed it under the horse's mouth!

Then he buried the sack containing two wild chickens and three jumping cats in the snow a bit further away! To prevent attracting carnivorous beasts to hurt the horse!

The two chatted simply for a few words. After all, it was just a difference of opinion, and the brotherly feelings were still quite deep!

However, even so, with Wang An's tricks, he must let Li Biao learn a lesson!

Otherwise, being so self-righteous, disdaining to hunt small game and only wanting to hunt big game, while being too unskilled oneself! That is definitely not suitable for mountain hunting!

However, Wang An didn't arrange it before he went to arrange it! Li Biao arranged it quite clearly for himself!

It can be called Wild Boar Forest, wild boars are naturally indispensable! But it is also a quite dangerous place!

One pig, two bears, three tigers, is not a simple sentence, but an experience and lesson summarized by generations!

The two approached slowly, walked less than 2 li, and found a group of fifteen or sixteen wild boars.

Four big cannon eggs were doing business with sows! The biggest one must be over 500 jin!

Counting the sows that weren't doing business, there were five or six big sows in total, and six or seven yellow hairs. It was too far, and he couldn't see clearly!

This month, wild boars were still in the mating period, but normally before mid-November in the solar calendar, it was all over.

Cannon eggs also basically finished leaving the group in mid-November!

But the cannon eggs in this season are also the most difficult to deal with. They protect the nest! The pig nose is super good, dozens of times better than the hunting dog's sense of smell!

Finding people or other animals approaching, they are really playing with their lives!

Wang An was pondering what to do! He saw Li Biao rushing toward that group of wild boars, stupidly wanting to rush forward!

This scared Wang An enough, and he pulled Li Biao down at once. This is really a moron!

"What are you doing? Don't you want your life?" Wang An said anxiously.

"Hunting wild boars! Didn't you see that group of wild boars?" Li Biao asked suspiciously.

Wang An was really too lazy to nag with him, and said directly: "From now on, you must listen to me, otherwise, in the future, let's hunt separately! To avoid affecting brotherly feelings."

Li Biao was a bit unhappy, smacked his lips and didn't speak, but he didn't continue running toward the wild boar group either.

Wang An carefully observed the vicinity of the wild boar group!

The sheltered side of the pig group is a dirt ridge, less than two meters high, facing the direction of Wang An and the two brothers!

The wind blows down from the dirt ridge, so the place above the dirt ridge definitely can't go. The vision is okay, it's just in the upwind of the wild boars!

About 200 meters away from the wild boar group, there is a large pine tree, which must be as thick as two people hugging!

Under the tree, there are a few weathered large stones and some stones of different sizes, which are blown very clean by the wind, and people can also lie on them.

But because of the snow, he couldn't see if those two-meter-high large stones were buried in the ground, and he didn't know how firm they were.

However, it is winter now, basically it can be frozen, no way, there is no good place, take a risk and try!

In fact, he shouldn't take this kind of risk at all!

This Wild Boar Forest, there are indeed many wild boars! But experienced hunters don't come, it's really too dangerous!

Only Wang An, this young and vigorous half-baked second-rate hunter, dares to come! Because Wang An didn't understand hunting at all!

After making a plan, Wang An said to Li Biao: "In a while, let's go around the tree, climb to that largest stone quietly, lie on it and shoot. If the wild boar comes to root the stone, if the stone is firm (solid), we continue to shoot. If the stone is not firm, we must not be entangled, go directly up the tree! Do you understand?"

Li Biao didn't refute, but his expression was eager to try, full of excitement!

The two approached forward, but Li Biao's footsteps were obviously fast, even faster than walking normally! Wang An regretted taking him into the mountains more and more, he was so reckless!

Sure enough, they were less than 10 meters away from the large stone, Li Biao didn't know what kind of excitement he was in, couldn't hold back again, directly raised his gun to his face, and didn't know which pig he was aiming at, anyway, the gun fired!

With a "bang" gunshot, followed by the sound of pulling the bolt and the "oink oink" sound of the wild boars exploding in the front!

200 meters, want to shoot, just shoot! It's just so willful!

With another "bang" gunshot, Li Biao fired again! The exploding wild boars had no direction, wherever it was comfortable, they ran there.

The place where the wild boars stayed was sheltered from the wind. This mountain ridge used by the wild boars to shelter from the wind was facing Wang An and the others!

Wild boars can't go up the mountain ridge! Even if they can go up, they probably won't bother to go up the dirt ridge to run!

This is great, they hadn't even reached the planned location! Li Biao fired, Wang An was directly stunned! Wang An was originally a second-rate hunter, a half-baked hunter!

And he was with Li Biao, such a moron, danger came just like that, and it was quite fast!

Except for two or three yellow hairs, running toward the small slow slopes on both sides of the dirt ridge!

The rest, big cannon eggs plus sows and yellow hairs, and the ones that were under the leaves and branches just now, which he didn't see, fifteen or sixteen wild boars in total!

All rushed toward Wang An and the two brothers!

That was really spectacular!! It was also really enough to scare people out of their wits!!

Wang An was really scared to death! Li Biao was also completely stunned! He didn't even pull the bolt!

After being stunned for a moment, Wang An shouted: "Climb the stone quickly! Run!"

As he spoke, he pulled Li Biao and ran toward the stone. Both of them were tall and strong, and their legs were naturally not short, so they ran quite fast!

The shape of these stones, it was impossible for people to climb up quickly, it needed the help of the small stones next to them!

They were all rural children, and both were tall, so climbing a stone and climbing a tree was the simplest thing in the world!

But what Wang An said to Li Biao just now, Li Biao probably didn't listen to a word!

He neither climbed the stone and shot! Nor did he observe where it was more convenient to

This resulted in Wang An already reaching the top of the large rock, while Li Biao was still climbing!

Wild boars don't care if you've climbed up or not! If you want to kill me, then I must gore you to death!!

The ranking has been pushed down again!!
