Chapter 498

【After a moment of silence, Might Guy said with a determined look in his eyes.】

【"No, if you do that, you will die!"】

【Hatake Kakashi was the first to stand up and object!】

【"If I don't do this, we won't be able to hold him back at all! And I cannot just stand by and watch our people in Konoha be slaughtered!"】

【Might Guy shook his head, then looked toward Uchiha Sasuke with a firm gaze!】

【"......"】

【Seeing that his best friend had already made up his mind, Hatake Kakashi said nothing more; after a sigh, he could only watch silently!】

【"To think that Konoha still has such strong warriors!"】

【At this moment, Uchiha Sasuke had already stood up!】

【Although the power of the Daytime Tiger was immense, just as Guy had predicted, it still wasn't enough to defeat Uchiha Sasuke!】

【"Hoo!!"】

【Watching Uchiha Sasuke's figure, Might Guy took a deep breath. Then, he ran toward him at full speed, placing his right thumb over his heart as he moved.】

【"Chakra is gathering at the Gate of Death! Is this the final gate of the Eight Inner Gates, the Gate of Death?"】

【Uchiha Sasuke naturally noticed the figure rushing toward him immediately!】

【With the insight of the Sharingan, the changes in Guy's body could not escape Uchiha Sasuke's eyes.】

【Seeing this, Uchiha Sasuke's expression became unprecedentedly grave.】

【"The Eighth Gate, the Gate of Death! Open!! Eight Gates Released Formation!"】

【Might Guy ran with all his might, and red light began to emanate from his body!】

【"Father, the time has come for me to protect what is most important to me with my life!!!"】

【"Red steam—is this the blood steam unique to opening all Eight Gates?"】

【Uchiha Sasuke was not sitting idly by either!】

【He released his purple chakra with full force!】

【Under the infusion of his chakra, the figure of Susanoo surged once more!】

【The Susanoo, which had been several dozen meters tall, now grew to several hundred meters!】

【Its previously bare body was now clad in armor! A pair of enormous wings appeared on its back! And between its hands, a massive greatsword emerged!】

【"Is this the final form of Susanoo?"】

【"It's... it's so huge!"】

【The expressions of the people of Konoha grew even uglier!】

【They had originally thought that what they saw before was Uchiha Sasuke's full power.】

【But they hadn't expected that he still had room for such an explosion of power.】

【"It'll be fine, Guy-sensei will definitely win!"】

【At this moment, the hopes of the people of Konoha were pinned entirely on Might Guy!】

【"First Foot!"】

【In the video, Might Guy launched his attack!】

【This strike was incredibly powerful; under this blow, the complete version of Susanoo actually developed cracks!】

【"So strong!!"】

【But Uchiha Sasuke withstood it.】

【Then, Uchiha Sasuke frantically poured in chakra, and the cracks were quickly repaired!】

【"Second Foot!"】

【At this moment, Might Guy suddenly stopped his movements!】

【'So that's how it is, it's truly painful! But I'm used to it! I won't give him any openings!'】

【It turned out that the bones in his right arm had already begun to fracture!】

【But as a taijutsu expert, he quickly became accustomed to this pain!】

【"No, I must avoid a head-on confrontation with him, otherwise..."】

【At this moment, Uchiha Sasuke had already begun to harbor thoughts of retreat!】

【But unfortunately, Might Guy gave him no chance!】

【"First Foot!"】

【He stepped on the air and flew directly toward him!】

【"Second Foot!"】

【The power of the Evening Elephant was immense!】

【The First Foot had already made Uchiha Sasuke struggle, but Might Guy's Second Foot followed up rapidly, giving Uchiha Sasuke no opportunity at all!】

【"Third Foot!!"】

【At this point, the cracks in the complete Susanoo were very obvious! But Uchiha Sasuke had no chance to repair them!】

【"Fourth Foot!!!"】

【Under Might Guy's four attacks, the Susanoo officially shattered!】

【"Fifth Foot!!!!"】

【And at this moment, Guy's final strike had arrived right in front of Uchiha Sasuke!!】

【With no defenses left, Uchiha Sasuke had no way to resist this move!!!】

【"Boom!!!"】

【Accompanied by a deafening roar, Uchiha Sasuke was completely reduced to ashes!】
