Chapter 309: Don't thank the principal, thank yourself
After taking his pulse, An Yinan looked at the old man, "There is no need for outsiders to worry."
"Excessive worry and rampant heart-fire; old man, heart disease can only be cured by heart medicine."
An Yinan wrote out a prescription and then handed it to the young man.
The old man's food, clothing, housing, and transportation were all handled by specialized personnel; she only needed to write the prescription.
"Follow the prescription to get the medicine, boil three bowls of water down to one, twice a day, for half a month straight," An Yinan instructed the young man.
Then she looked at the old man, "Do not interrupt the course."
Hua Wensheng nodded helplessly, "Understood."
An Yinan also felt a bit helpless; the old man was getting on in years and was starting to show signs of becoming a "childish old man."
If she didn't make some things clear, he would just brush them off.
An Yinan stayed with Hua Lao for a while longer before leaving the courtyard, not staying for a meal.
After walking out of the alley, An Yinan took a detour before heading toward Yun Shu.
"Leader, where to?" Yun Shu asked.
An Yinan rubbed her temples, "Back to school."
Along the way, An Yinan was lost in thought, looking at Yun Shu who was driving.
"Yun Shu, have you ever thought about what you want to do in the future?" An Yinan asked.
Yun Shu slowed the car down slightly, her tone calm and matter-of-fact, "I will follow the organization's arrangements."
She and Yun Mo had been by the Leader's side for many years, and she admired An Yinan from the bottom of her heart.
She admired her character and admired the things she did.
But she could never forget her own identity; she was a soldier, and she needed to be loyal to the country.
An Yinan nodded, and the car fell into a silence.
"Leader, we're here," Yun Shu said.
An Yinan got out of the car in front of the Xiao Yuan, walked a few steps, then turned back to look at Yun Shu in the car from a distance.
Actually, had Yun Shu already sensed it?
An Yinan returned to school, a place full of vitality and drive.
"Nan Nan, I haven't seen a shadow of you all morning," Zhang Jia said, greeting An Yinan as she returned.
An Yinan had been busy all day, not having a moment to rest.
"It was indeed busy," she smiled.
Zhang Jia thought for a moment and said, "If there's anything you need help with, just say the word."
Zhang Jia was a girl from Beijing; judging by her clothes and daily expenses, her family was quite well-off.
However, she had no arrogance about her; she was peaceful and very easy to get along with.
Although An Yinan was least familiar with Zhang Jia, it did not stop her from holding Zhang Jia in high regard.
"I will," An Yinan nodded with a smile.
Tomorrow was Monday, so An Yinan gave the workshop contracts directly to Zhou Ruoran and Liu Er Ya.
"These are the workshop contracts. You won't be able to go over tomorrow because of classes. If you've thought it over, read the contracts carefully and then sign them," An Yinan said.
After Zhou Ruoran and Liu Er Ya returned, they chatted quite a bit.
Both of them were in urgent need of money, and they knew that Nan Nan had arranged for them to take the test just to help them.
After all, they were students and didn't have much time to leave school to work; if she recruited people from outside, they could work full-time and be much more efficient than them.
"Nan Nan, thank you," Zhou Ruoran said.
Although she knew Nan Nan meant well, she still wanted to seize this opportunity.
An Yinan smiled, "Consider it me poaching talent from Jingda in advance."
Zhou Ruoran was in the Fashion Design Department.
She had always liked making clothes, and after thinking it over carefully, she decided to do what she loved and applied for the Fashion Design Department.
"Don't worry, I'm your person," Zhou Ruoran smiled and teased An Yinan.
An Yinan clutched her little heart, "Oh my, Sister Ruo Ran is truly an understanding person."
Everyone burst into laughter.
Ever since there were only five of them left in the dormitory, the atmosphere had been very good; everyone laughed and talked, and there were no disputes.
When Zhou Ruoran was busy, everyone would help look after Tiedan. Now, Tiedan had changed; he was growing fast, his face had become chubby, and the little guy was extremely well-behaved.
It was a busy day of classes, running between various classrooms.
In the evening, Zhao Qiu Hua came over and handed the documents to An Yinan, her whole person filled with excitement.
"Nan Nan, it's done, it's really done," Zhao Qiu Hua said with a smile.
An Yinan looked at the documents; with them, she could start training personnel and prepare for opening the shop.
"By the way, Nan Nan, Wu Youzhi asked me today if our shop is short of people. He has a niece, eighteen years old, who is steady and hardworking, and he wanted to ask if you need anyone."
"I didn't make the decision; I said I needed to discuss it," Zhao Qiu Hua said.
"Use her, why wouldn't we? We're short on people," An Yinan said with a smile.
Zhao Qiu Hua thought for a moment, "But I'm afraid that if they are people we know, it might be hard to manage them."
An Yinan understood what Zhao Qiu Hua meant; she was considering Wu Youzhi's face.
"Qiu Hua, all our employees must abide by the rules and regulations. If anyone violates them, they must be dealt with according to the rules."
An Yinan thought to herself that the sisters didn't know about these modern management practices yet, so she needed to prepare rules and regulations.
She also needed to create a summary for future training processes.
Only then would she be able to free herself up later to think about more things.
"How about this, I'll think it over carefully this week, and we'll meet up next week to discuss these matters then," An Yinan said.
Zhao Qiu Hua nodded and made a note in her notebook.
"Alright."
With the matters discussed, Qiu Hua left; the four of them were all so busy they barely touched the ground, with no time at all for idle chatter.
On Wednesday, Liu Jianguo called An Yinan to his office.
"Teacher Liu, did you look for me?" An Yinan had some guesses in her heart.
After all, the old man had already greeted her about it before.
Liu Jianguo looked at An Yinan, "The Principal wants to see you."
Afterwards, Liu Jianguo added, "The Principal has notified me; from now on, you can apply for leave directly with him, and you may take leave first and submit the leave slip later."
"Also, your application to live off-campus has been approved by the school."
An Yinan had not hidden what she was currently doing from Hua Wensheng.
Moreover, the old man had offered her some suggestions regarding her business plans.
An Yinan had not expected the entire process to go through so quickly.
"Your friends are not in our department, so I cannot make the call, and they are different from you; they need systematic learning from the school."
"Do not lose sight of one thing while attending to another," Liu Jianguo said.
An Yinan had previously wanted to have everyone go out together, but after hearing Liu Jianguo's words, a cold sweat broke out on her back.
She really was about to lose sight of one thing while attending to another; she still remembered what Qiu Hua had said, that forcing growth is not a good thing.
"Thank you, Teacher," An Yinan said to Liu Jianguo.
Liu Jianguo smiled, "I also conducted an assessment, and I reviewed your reading records in the library, as well as your Monthly Exam results."
"Student An, for this off-campus living application to be approved, you don't need to thank the Principal; thank yourself."
If her grades had fallen behind, even if he had to defy the Principal, he would not have signed it for her.
