Chapter 342: I Miss You!

Finding the room, An Yinan had just entered when Chen Xun calmly set out the hot water.

"Wash up. The conditions are limited, so you'll have to bear with it." Chen Xun knew his wife was a bit of a neat freak; she always insisted on washing herself until she was spotlessly clean, without a trace of sweat.

"Okay." An Yinan felt a bit shy, though she didn't show it on her face; only her slightly reddened earlobes betrayed her embarrassment.

"I'm going out for a moment," Chen Xun said.

An Yinan nodded hurriedly.

She was truly afraid of him just standing there; although they had been married for many years, she was still not used to being too exposed in front of him.

"Make sure to lock the door," Chen Xun instructed.

Only after confirming he heard the sound of the door locking did he stride away, heading straight for the Camp dormitory.

"Why are you back?" everyone asked in disbelief.

Chen Xun ignored the group and went straight to get a basin and towel to take a bath.

Then he went out once more before returning to the Guest House.

He knocked on the door gently. An Yinan was a bit tired that day, and since the door was already locked, she had simply gone into her space to take a bath, dried her hair, and then soaked her feet in the water outside before changing into her pajamas and getting into bed.

She had been too tired during the day, and being uncomfortable in the sack yesterday meant she hadn't rested well either.

Lying on the bed, she kept tossing and turning to keep herself from falling asleep, but she was already on the verge of losing the battle against drowsiness.

Just at this moment...

A knock sounded at the door.

An Yinan was already a bit dazed and didn't even react at first.

"Coming," she said, getting out of bed to open the door.

"Where did you go for so long? I was almost asleep." His wife grumbled, her little mouth chattering incessantly.

His little wife's voice was soft and sweet, lacking her usual sharpness; at this moment, her eyes were unfocused, carrying a charming, naive air.

The tall figure pushed the door open and walked in, then silently closed the door.

He immediately pulled Nan Nan into his arms, and their positions shifted instantly; Nan Nan was squeezed between Chen Xun and the wall.

An Yinan instinctively reached out to steady herself against him. Chen Xun's muscles were firm from years of training, and he even had an eight-pack—she had counted them before!

She was just about to look up and complain, but her mouth was blocked.

Her slender arms draped around Chen Xun's neck.

Chen Xun wished he could knead the person in his arms into his own flesh and blood so that wherever he went, he could take her with him.

"Did you miss me?"

The man's voice was coaxing, low and full of temptation, hooking into Nan Nan's heart bit by bit.

An Yinan's moist eyes looked as if she had been bullied, carrying a bashful, unspoken feeling. Her two hands hooked around his neck, and the cold wall behind her helped her find some composure.

One could see the woman's pink, tender lips slightly curved, still wet with the traces of their kiss.

"I miss you!"

Those three words nearly cost Chen Xun his life.

He finally understood what it meant to lift a rock only to drop it on one's own feet.

At this moment, a surge of heat rushed straight from his toes to the top of his head.

And our Nan Nan was squinting slightly, her fuzzy little head tilted, her eyes filled with mischief.

However, she didn't know that for the three words she had just said, she would be "repaid" for three days later.

Chen Xun lowered his head and kissed her little mouth lightly; each touch was like a dragonfly skimming the water, but after each one, he looked into Nan Nan's eyes.

"How much do you miss me? Surely not as much as I miss you!" Chen Xun said.

An Yinan blinked, her eyes still feeling a bit itchy.

Why was he being so flirtatious today?

She didn't speak, choosing to think instead.

And she didn't notice the man chuckle low, his rough, hot hand rubbing the back of her neck.

That rough, calloused hand seemed like a child lighting fires everywhere.

"You... don't." Nan Nan's voice was slightly hoarse, carrying a faint tremor.

It was because the man had lowered his head and gently kissed her earlobe, making her already flushed earlobe look as if it were dripping with fresh blood.

Her ears were her sensitive zone.

"Don't what?" Chen Xun asked in a husky voice.

It was completely different from his serious demeanor in front of others.

One hand braced against the wall, the other holding his wife, afraid she might fall.

Not until both were panting did Chen Xun finally, and unwillingly, release her lips.

A silver thread stretched from the corners of their mouths, filled with a rosy atmosphere.

An Yinan's arms were already tired from being raised; who told this man to be so tall?

But she didn't dare let them down; her legs were terrifyingly weak now, and she feared that if she let go, she would slide to the floor.

Just then, Chen Xun lifted her up, walked straight to the bedside, and let Nan Nan sit in his lap.

Chen Xun patted her back; only now did he feel that the person he had dreamed of day and night was right here in his arms.

Chen Xun held her tightly, "Nan Nan, I am afraid."

When he saw her being choked by the neck, he was terrified.

Seeing the red mark on An Yinan's neck, his eyes gradually darkened.

An Yinan shifted from sitting sideways on Chen Xun to facing him directly.

She kissed his mouth corners lightly, moving down bit by bit, and when she kissed his Adam's apple, Chen Xun swallowed hard.

Finally, he pulled the mischievous woman into his arms and covered them with the quilt.

He held her from outside the quilt.

"Nan Nan, you're tired, sleep!" The man was enduring, his voice still trembling.

Yet even so, he could not bear to let Nan Nan go without rest.
