Chapter 383: These Fools
"Nan Nan?" Li Xiue had no class during the last period; she had just come from the library when she saw An Yinan.
"Li Xiu'e." An Yinan also greeted her.
Returning this time, the matter of the dividends had to be handled; for one, she needed money now, and for another, her partners also needed to plan for the future.
"It's good that you're back. Is there still any place that feels uncomfortable?" Li Xiue asked with concern.
An Yinan shook her head. These days, for her sake, they had gone to the hospital almost every two days, always bringing nourishing soup. Her gaining weight was not just the Big Aunt's credit, but also the credit of this group of partners.
"I'm all better. As long as it's not strenuous movement or exercise, there's nothing wrong. You all have worked hard lately."
Because of her absence, the affairs of the shops had all been pressed onto the three of them.
"What are you saying! But you've come back just in time. We have something to discuss with you. If you hadn't come back today, we would have gone to find you during this break," Li Xiue said.
An Yinan was curious. Even for big matters, they had never brought them up at the hospital; when she asked, they just told her to rest well, and if there was anything they didn't understand, they would go ask Guo Ge.
But what exactly was the matter today that could make the few of them seek her out?
"What is it!" An Yinan couldn't guess, so she asked directly.
Li Xiue smiled, "I'll let Qiu Hua tell you in a moment."
The three of them had discussed it; although they knew Nan Nan likely wouldn't refuse, they still had to secure Nan Nan's agreement.
"Fine, keeping it a secret then," An Yinan said, then shoveled the food into her mouth in large bites.
"I'm taking you to a place," Li Xiue said mysteriously.
An Yinan followed behind Li Xiu'e. Li Xiue was afraid her body couldn't handle it, so she walked very slowly.
The two walked in front of a room, and Li Xiue took out a key to open it.
"This is?" An Yinan asked in surprise.
"To support us students in starting businesses, the school gave us an office. Although it's a bit dilapidated, we finally have a Base at school. When you can't find anyone, you can come here to take a look."
Li Xiue explained. This row of small rooms was said to be where various projects held meetings in the past. Now it was a bit old, and everyone had moved away, so the school gave them one.
The house was old, but it was still usable.
"Did you all tidy this up?"
Looking from the outside, the house was dilapidated, but upon entering, it was a different world inside.
The room was covered with white paper, and on every sheet of white paper were basic design drafts. However, these design drafts were ones they had discarded; she hadn't expected to see them all here.
The interior was decorated very warmly and had a strong artistic atmosphere.
It looked like that kind of design studio.
"We don't understand these things. Qian Zhaogai changed the floor plan, and the layout inside was all done by Ruo Ran." Li Xiue smiled gently, looking at everything in the room; it was all tidied up bit by bit by everyone, and it gave a great sense of accomplishment.
An Yinan nodded, "It's a wonderful feeling."
"Right? I think so too!" Outside the door, Xie Yuanyuan said.
As soon as Xie Yuanyuan walked over, she heard An Yinan's words.
An Yinan turned her head back. That simple girl had now grown up, but those crystal-clear eyes were still as bright as ever.
"I missed you!" Xie Yuanyuan walked over and hugged An Yinan.
But she didn't dare use force, afraid that Nan Nan would be injured again.
An Yinan hugged her back, then patted her head, "Our Yuanyuan has finally grown up."
"I should grow up too." Only after growing up did Xie Yuanyuan realize that in all the things of the past, there had been people supporting her as she walked.
"What are you talking about? So lively." After Zhao Qiuhua came over and saw the three of them, she was a little surprised, but even more happy.
"Is your body better? It takes a hundred days to recover from a bone or tendon injury; don't take it lightly." Zhao Qiuhua said, and even brought over a stool, placing it beside An Yinan.
An Yinan sat on the stool, "I'm not that delicate. But Li Xiu'e said everyone had something to find me for; what exactly is it?"
The three of them fell silent together for a moment.
"Nan Nan, have you seen the banners outside?" It was Zhao Qiuhua who spoke up.
An Yinan nodded; she seemed to know what her partners were going to do.
"The three of us discussed it. We want to donate money to the Southern Front, or donate supplies directly. But for donating supplies, we don't have the channels to buy so many things," Zhao Qiuhua said.
An Yinan scanned the other two; both nodded one after another, clearly they had already discussed it.
"How do you plan to donate?" An Yinan asked.
Li Xiue took out an account book. A few days ago during the break, she had audited the three shops and summarized them.
"When you were sick, we discussed it and prepared to take out one-half to one-fourth of the profits to make a donation." Li Xiue took out a piece of paper on which the profits and the respective proportions were roughly written.
"We only discussed it preliminarily; the main thing is to hear your opinion." Li Xiu'e handed the paper over and said to An Yinan.
An Yinan looked at the amounts on it and the several donation plans.
It seemed the three of them had truly made up their minds; otherwise, they wouldn't have discussed it in such detail.
"Which plan do you all prefer the most?" She put the paper on the table and looked at her partners.
Angry?
Not at all.
Perhaps many people would feel that while they were sick, their partners making decisions on their own was ignoring their feelings.
But she wouldn't.
She needed to rest, so her partners couldn't talk about these things, yet they spent a large amount of time analyzing the plans and finally chose for her. They did the work, but the decision was left for her to make.
They weren't being disrespectful; they just wanted to share her burden.
"Forty percent," Li Xiue said.
They couldn't expand the shops right now, so they didn't need to keep that much capital. Donating more was also good; this way, the supplies on the Southern Front would be sufficient, and those soldiers would have no worries behind them.
Whether it was Chen Xun or Zhang Qian, they had all had some contact with them, especially Zhang Qian.
They understood the hardships of soldiers better than others.
An Yinan looked at the forty percent share, "Let's donate it directly in the name of the shop."
"You don't need to deduct the dividends into four equal parts; just deduct them according to our dividend ratios."
These fools, their donation ratio was split into four equal parts.
But in the shop's ratio, she alone took forty percent!
"Nan Nan, there's no need for this," Zhao Qiuhua spoke up.
What they had discussed first was that they didn't want Nan Nan to have any burden.
An Yinan said, "Sisters, you are overthinking it."
"I still have money, and as for the shop in Yangcheng, I have already donated half of the profits, so you don't need to be so hesitant."
"I'll go get the money in a moment, let's distribute the dividends today as well," An Yinan looked at the total accounts of the three shops.
