Chapter 189: Closing remarks~

Closing remarks~
It is 1:30 a. m. on May 13, 2025:
The big ending I hoped to finish early is finally done.
My first reaction wasn't relief; instead I felt a bit dazed, staring blankly at the computer screen for a long while.
It felt like I had joked many times with a close friend, saying we'd say goodbye tomorrow, but this time it's for real.
My heart feels empty.
My thoughts are a bit scattered; as I mumble in a daze, I say whatever comes to mind, hahaha.
1:
Regarding the setting of "transmigration into a book" and "characters in the book awakening," I originally wanted to write another explanation in the grand finale, but I felt it was too fantastical, so I cut it.
So I'll briefly explain it here?
Basically, after Du's "dissolution" of the Pei family, Du's personal assets tied to the Pei family were frozen for review, taking nearly half a year to unfreeze; afterwards, Zhou Zhi personally organized and handed them to Mu Yin, who would see an investment document among them.
It was the project Pei Du personally invested in during those four years when she was aged one to four.
The project's name is "Time-Space Shuttle Machine".
The project's selling point is that this machine can travel to the past, bringing deceased people back to the present.
The project lost 100 million in its first year; Du continued investing. In the second year it lost 300 million; Du did not give up. In the third year it lost 500 million; Du still did not lose heart. In the fourth year it lost 800 million. There was no fifth year—Du suffered a car accident and lost his memory in what would have been the fifth year.
The so-called Time-Space Shuttle Machine, of course cannot actually be realized, haha; what I wanted to write was the setting of a "kind-hearted god".
Not gods!
Humans billions of years in the future lack the genuine feeling of being human, causing their daily lives to be too dull and boring.
So they don't get sick, don't feel pain, don't feel hunger, and replenish their energy solely through charging.
Humans billions of years in the future lack the genuine feeling of being human, causing their daily lives to be too dull and boring.
There is a person, let's call her Xiao A; Xiao A's family is well-off, her family discovered that parallel worlds exist, she was bored and idle, so she took a detector and saw Du and Shu in a certain parallel world.
Xiao A used an algorithm similar to today's big data to predict the grim ending of Shu and Du; Xiao A dislikes BE stories, she really likes the Shu-Du couple, so she couldn't resist crossing into the parallel world where Shu and Du reside.
Using the so-called "Time-Space Shuttle Machine" as a pretext, they "revived" Shu, who should have been killed, and implanted some true-and-false information into Shu's mind, enabling Shu Shu to regain life and proactively avoid the grim fate of herself and her child.
Why say the information is half-true, half-false? — because of transmigration, the children's counterpart group, the male lead forgetting his first love and finally falling for the female lead — this is because Xiao A usually loves 'archaeology' and reads melodramatic novels; this setting is something Xiao A casually made up based on the novel she's been reading lately.
So, Shu and Du are one-on-one the whole way; no one else will be involved.
This brainstorm is way too far-fetched T-T
I wrote a paragraph, but realized putting it in the main text to explain would be too tedious and weirdly bizarre.
So I gave up.
If you feel the transmigration in the story isn't explained well, take this as a reference.
2:
I saw someone say this is a forced HE.
This book was originally HE; I never intended to write it as BE.
I'm its creator; since I can make it perfect, why shouldn't I exercise this right?
3:
About the side story.
Enmmm, I only have a tiny bit of inspiration; I feel I can't scrape together a chapter, mainly because I think everything that should be there is already in the main text, and writing more would feel repetitive.
So, probably not (fleeing while covering a pot lid~)
4:
Reflection.
The updates these past two months have been truly terrible; I have a fear of writing endings, I'm really anxious, afraid I'll write it poorly, almost as if I'm extracting it bit by bit in an extreme state—sometimes a sentence, a word, I can agonize over it for days.
I'm really sorry, waa waa waa, thanks for waiting.
5:
Finally.
Thank you to everyone who accompanied them here and witnessed their happiness.
Little bitter gourds, at last the bitterness has turned to sweet.
Please, from now on, remain happy forever!
