Chapter 3

"System, consume all Reputation Points, recruit elite troops!"

Uzumaki Chihiro doesn't think about saving up to recruit hero troops or keeping a portion.

Recruiting someone strong to overcome the immediate crisis is the most important thing.

He is even a bit worried about whether the strength of elite troops will be enough to solve the problem.

After all, most of the ninjas who attacked the Land of Whirlpools have retreated, but through his Kamigan, he senses that there are still four ninja squads searching for resources in the Land of Whirlpools.

Furthermore, he doesn't know what level the strength of elite troops is compared to the Ninja World.

He decides to go all-in on an elite troop!

"Ding! Detected that the host is recruiting troops for the first time, obtaining the newbie benefit: tenfold critical hit!"

"Ding! Congratulations to the host for successfully recruiting a hero troop, Third Division Captain of the Gotei 13, Ichimaru Gin!"

Uzumaki Chihiro's eyes light up instantly.

Tenfold critical hit! Hero troop! Ichimaru Gin!

Every keyword brings Uzumaki Chihiro a surprise.

Even the system's cold mechanical voice sounds pleasant in his mind.

The next moment, a giant gate suddenly appears in the space in front of Uzumaki Chihiro.

The giant gate slowly opens.

A tall, thin figure walks out from inside.

Light purple short hair, squinting eyes, always wearing a smile.

He wears a sleeveless white haori with the Third Division number embroidered on it, and underneath is the standard black Shinigami uniform, with a sword tucked at his waist.

The giant gate quickly disappears, and Uzumaki Chihiro takes note of it.

It feels a bit like a Senkaimon.

This is very fitting for the way a Soul Reaper appears.

"Third Division Captain of the Gotei 13, Ichimaru Gin, pays respects to the Soul King!"

Ichimaru Gin's voice pulls Uzumaki Chihiro's thoughts back.

Looking at Ichimaru Gin kneeling on one knee, Uzumaki Chihiro is thoughtful.

So that's it; the system has set him up as the Soul King.

It's just that, is he, the Soul King, a bit too disheveled?

Covered in dust and bloodstains.

Uzumaki Chihiro asks the system in his heart: "System, will the troops I recruit betray me?"

"Ding! All troops recruited by the host will be 100% loyal to the host and will never betray!"

Uzumaki Chihiro feels much more at ease now.

At the same time, he has a clearer understanding of troop levels.

A Captain-level figure of the Gotei 13 is a hero troop.

Then a Vice-Captain should be the next level, an elite troop.

Starting with a Captain-level figure, Uzumaki Chihiro can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

After all, he is one of the top-tier figures in the Soul Reaper world.

While he might not be invincible in the Ninja World, he is guaranteed to have strength comparable to a Kage.

*Step, step, step! *

A chaotic sound of footsteps approaches from afar, flooding into Uzumaki Chihiro's ears.

"Captain Wugiri, we found two survivors here!"

Soon, a Chunin discovers Uzumaki Chihiro and Ichimaru Gin.

The ninja named Wugiri glances at Uzumaki Chihiro indifferently and says coldly: "Remnants of the Uzumaki Clan, kill them."

"Yes!"

Three Chunin swarm forward, holding kunai, surrounding Uzumaki Chihiro and Ichimaru Gin.

Their expressions are solemn, not daring to be careless.

Although the Land of Whirlpools has been destroyed, the Uzumaki Clan's counterattacks have left a deep impression on them.

They are terrified that if they are careless, they will be meeting the Six Paths Sage in the next second.

Uzumaki Chihiro's expression is calm; he moves his lips and utters a cold sentence.

"Gin, take care of them."

"Yes, Soul King!"

As soon as Ichimaru Gin's voice falls, he uses Shunpo to appear in front of them in the next second.

The speed is so fast that their eyes only blur, and a tall, thin figure with immense pressure envelops them.

Ichimaru Gin wears a smile, not wasting any words with them.

Draws his sword, slits their throats!

The movements are clean and efficient. **Chapter 5**
