Chapter 84

Although she had never seen anyone like this big sister in the Land of Whirlpools before, the big sister also carried a token of the Land of Whirlpools.

Plus, she really wanted to go home, so with the mindset of giving it a try, she agreed to leave the Grass Hidden Village with this big sister named Yoruichi Shihouin.

What's more, she didn't like this place either, because once, after saving a Grass Ninja, she exposed her uniqueness, and the people here wanted to eat her alive.

That feeling was very terrifying, but she couldn't escape and could only live in fear.

She didn't even dare to sleep too soundly.

Rather than waiting for death in the Grass Hidden Village, it was better to take a gamble.

Yoruichi Shihouin said with a solemn expression, "Those are Hollows."

She also couldn't understand why these Hollows would suddenly appear in the Grass Hidden Village.

... Wait, her eyes suddenly widened.

She seemed to know.

She remembered that the Soul King had mentioned sending people to handle the Grass Hidden Village's affairs.

But...

These weren't people; weren't these Hollows?

Although she understood that these Hollows were also working for the Soul King.

But as a Soul Reaper, the hostility toward Hollows in her bones wouldn't decrease at all.

Besides, the Soul King had them, the Soul Reapers; mere Hollows didn't deserve to work for the Soul King!

"Hollows?"

Uzumaki Haruna heard this name for the first time, her eyes full of curiosity.

Yoruichi Shihouin said earnestly, "Hollows are evil spirits that feed on human souls. Haruna, remember to stay far away from them if you see them in the future."

"So scary!"

Uzumaki Haruna's eyes widened. She didn't expect there to be such terrifying monsters in the ninja world.

Seeing this, Yoruichi Shihouin comforted her, "Don't worry, since there are evil spirits that feed on human souls, there will naturally be heroes who protect humans."

"The Soul Reapers of our Land of Whirlpools are such people!"

"So, so amazing!" Uzumaki Haruna's eyes shone, "Is Big Sister Yoruichi a hero!"

Um...

Yoruichi Shihouin thought about how she had just destroyed the Grass Hidden Village...

"Yes, we Soul Reapers are heroes who purify Hollows and protect humans!"

Yoruichi Shihouin looked serious.

It was the Hollows who destroyed the Grass Hidden Village; what did that have to do with them, the Soul Reapers?

Besides, this Grass Hidden Village dared to scheme against the Soul King; they deserved to die!

"Awesome! Then Haruna will also become a Soul Reaper when I return to the Land of Whirlpools!"

Yoruichi Shihouin: "..."

This really stumped her. A living person wanting to become a Soul Reaper...

Forget it, let the Soul King worry about it.

"Let's go, we're going back to the Land of Whirlpools."

"Yeah!"

Uzumaki Haruna nodded vigorously.

Just then, a voice sounded from behind them.

"It really is the Uzumaki clan!"

"Hey, little lady, put down the Uzumaki clan member in your hand!"
