Chapter 113: Joining Forces Against the Enemy

The Yin Beast and Yang Beast merged into one, transforming into a flaming fox wreathed in ghostly blue and pale yellow flames. Two tails swayed gently behind it, each composed of Yin fire and Yang fire respectively, burning continuously. At the tips of these tails, a ring of opposing elemental fire circled; the Yin-fire tail was ringed with Yang fire, and the Yang-fire tail was ringed with Yin fire. A similar ring of fire circled its neck, but this ring alternated between Yin and Yang fire, forming a circle like a necklace. At this moment, however, the ring of fire was somewhat dim, making the necklace appear like an old, lusterless piece of jewelry.

"Ya—!" The Yin-Yang Fire Fox roared after the successful fusion. Following this roar, the Yin-Yang fire on the fox's body began to burn wildly with a *pop-pop-pop* sound.

*Pop-pop-pop—! * The ring of fire around the Yin-Yang Fire Fox's neck, resembling a necklace, gradually lit up as if being ignited.

*Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—! * Nearly a hundred fire tornadoes gradually formed. Each fire tornado was created by the intertwining of Yin and Yang fire, rotating like a massive winch.

The fire tornadoes roared as they spun toward Lu Ju, giving the impression they would grind him into fragments. As they charged, they swept up all the Yin fire along their path, causing their volume to continuously increase. The fire tornadoes at the lower levels acted like earth-drilling dragons, churning up the soil along the way as well.

*Boom, boom, boom—! * The fire tornadoes from all directions struck Lu Ju. The moment they hit, a violent explosion occurred. For an instant, the location where Lu Ju stood resembled the end of the world. Waves of explosive force followed one after another, each more intense than the last. The soil on the ground vanished layer by layer, causing the already deep crater to sink even further. The dust raised by the explosion accumulated into a thick layer, making it impossible to see what had become of Lu Ju at the center of the blast.

*Roar—! * Before the dust had fully settled, a roar erupted from the depths of the crater—a roar like an enraged beast. Following this sound, the lingering dust was rapidly whipped up, spiraling upward until it finally exploded and dissipated with a *bang*. Lu Ju's figure appeared. At this moment, he was encased in an energy shield filled with evil Qi, which protected him in the center and allowed him to withstand all the Yin-Yang Fire Fox's attacks without suffering the slightest injury.

"Hmph, even if your strength has greatly increased through fusion, it is still fundamentally impossible for you to defeat me. Obediently be absorbed by me and become the nourishment for my breakthrough to the Mind User Realm." Lu Ju became even more arrogant after remaining unscathed by the Yin-Yang Fire Fox's attack, completely viewing the fox as nourishment for his breakthrough to the Mind User Realm.

"Giant Shi Hu Devour." Taking advantage of Lu Ju's moment of smugness, Zhuge Tianxin had already used Earth-element magic to launch an attack on him.

The soil on the ground rapidly condensed into a stone tiger with a mouth full of fangs. *Roar—! * As soon as the stone tiger formed, it opened its blood-red maw and bit toward Lu Ju, who was hiding inside the evil energy shield. Lu Ju had never expected Zhuge Tianxin to launch an attack on him; in his view, Zhuge Tianxin wasn't even qualified to stand before him after his successful evil transformation, so he had paid no attention to Zhuge Tianxin's presence.

*Boom—! * Although Zhuge Tianxin's surprise attack left Lu Ju with no time to prepare, because Lu Ju remained within the evil energy shield, this attack by Zhuge Tianxin also proved ineffective. The stone tiger from the Giant Shi Hu Devour shattered its head directly upon biting into Lu Ju's evil energy shield, unable to withstand the massive impact.

"Brat, you are seek—" *Boom. * Lu Ju had been attacked by Zhuge Tianxin; although he wasn't injured, he felt this was an insult to him, so he scolded him in anger. But before he could finish, the stone tiger, which had lost its head, did not disappear. Instead, while Lu Ju was scolding Zhuge Tianxin, it swept a claw horizontally, swatting Lu Ju—along with his evil energy shield—away. At the same time Lu Ju was swatted away, Zhuge Tianxin had already sprinted to the path of Lu Ju's flight. Activating his Demon Body and gathering Earth elements, a massive jagged stone club appeared in Zhuge Tianxin's hands. He used all his strength to slam the club toward the flying Lu Ju.

*Boom. * The jagged stone club slammed heavily into Lu Ju's evil energy shield, blasting the shield and Lu Ju away once more. The jagged stone club in Zhuge Tianxin's hand shattered. However, Zhuge Tianxin ignored whether the club was broken, casually tossing the fragments aside. Then, a space rift appeared, and Zhuge Tianxin quickly dove into it, appearing beneath the still-flying Lu Ju. He then condensed another giant jagged stone club in his hands and slammed it heavily into the evil energy shield from bottom to top.

*Boom. * This time, Lu Ju and the evil energy shield were knocked into the air by Zhuge Tianxin. The jagged stone club shattered again and was tossed away by Zhuge Tianxin. After condensing another giant jagged stone club, he dove into the space rift again, appearing above Lu Ju, who had been knocked into mid-air.

*Boom. * Zhuge Tianxin slammed the jagged stone club into Lu Ju and the evil energy shield, which were flying upward, smashing them back down.

*Boom. * Lu Ju and the evil energy shield hit the ground heavily.

"Elemental attacks have no effect on him; only physical attacks are effective. Knocking him and that evil energy shield together will be enough to give him a hard time." After knocking Lu Ju and the evil energy shield to the ground, Zhuge Tianxin walked to the side of the Yin-Yang Fire Fox and said to it.

*Ya. * The Yin-Yang Fire Fox had witnessed the process of Zhuge Tianxin repeatedly knocking Lu Ju and the evil energy shield away and down. It knew Zhuge Tianxin's method was feasible, so it let out a cry to signify its agreement. Subsequently, the two tails behind it extended. The flames circling the tips of the tails lit up, forming a powerful suction force that drew the soil from the ground into them. Then, like firing stoneware, it heated this soil. As it continuously drew in soil, the flames circling the tips of the tails gradually turned into hard, flaming stone blocks, each the size of a millstone, and they rotated continuously.

At this time, seeing that the Yin-Yang Fire Fox had begun preparations for the attack, Zhuge Tianxin did not hesitate. After condensing a giant jagged stone club in his hand, he continued to condense four more identical jagged stone clubs, using his mental power to suspend these four clubs behind him.

*Boom. * After Zhuge Tianxin and the Yin-Yang Fire Fox finished all this, Lu Ju, who had been knocked to the ground and buried deep in the earth by Zhuge Tianxin, finally broke free.

"Join forces?" Zhuge Tianxin said to the Yin-Yang Fire Beast upon seeing Lu Ju had broken free. ===== CHAPTER 114 =====
