Chapter 618: Sister, Why Are You Brushing Your Teeth So Late at Night?
It was nearly nine o'clock at night.
Ying Chanxi turned off the bedside lamp above her head, let Li Luo play with her tiny feet, sat up slightly, and pushed open the skylight.
The night breeze still carried a trace of summer heat, along with the fresh scent of mountain trees and soil.
She lay back down, watching the skylight frame a few stars like a painting, turning the night sky into a picture.
At the other end, Li Luo had no time to admire the night view above.
A faint moonlight streamed through the window, landing precisely on Ying Chanxi's feet, casting a pale silvery sheen over her already fair skin.
With a gentle pinch, the translucent skin dimpled slightly, like an artwork molded from moonlight and cloud fluff.
Her petite foot, barely the width of a palm, rested in Li Luo's palm, the arch curving softly like a tiny seashell stranded on a moonlit beach.
Her rounded toes lined up neatly, their warm nail beds glowing with a faint cherry-pink hue under the moonlight, evoking the image of spring blossoms just about to open.
The hollow between her heel and ankle held a faint shadow untouched by moonlight; the two hollows resembled little dimples, tempting one to poke them with a finger.
Friends who frequently enjoy foot play would surely know that Xi Xi's feet are truly irresistible.
The soft yellow glow seeping through the curtains fell upon Xi Xi's feet, revealing faint blue veins beneath her fair skin, like natural cracks gliding across porcelain—so exquisite one dared not touch them.
Even her heels, worn from constant walking, were as smooth as shelled almonds, showing not a single callus.
Quietly, Li Luo lifted one of Ying Chanxi's feet and, while she was admiring the night view, leaned down and lightly kissed the arch of her foot, curved like a swan's neck bending low.
Ying Chanxi startled at the sudden touch, realizing Li Luo had stolen a kiss on her foot—she blushed furiously and whispered, "W-what are you doing?"
"Nothing much," Li Luo blinked innocently, continuing to fiddle with the tiny foot in his hands.
But Ying Chanxi struggled to pull away, fearing he might kiss her again.
If he started licking her like he did when he kissed her body before, it would be way too perverted!
Unfortunately, Li Luo's grip was stronger, and the headboard bed offered little space—two people lying down already filled it to the limit.
So Ying Chanxi couldn't escape; after struggling a bit, she ended up pinned beneath him, her black hair disheveled, her gaze darting, cheeks flushed.
Thinking of Xu Youyu still typing below, possibly noticing any noise at any moment, Ying Chanxi felt her heart pounding wildly, as if it might leap out of her chest.
"Shh…" Li Luo placed a finger on Ying Chanxi's lips and leaned down to whisper, "Keep it quiet, or Youyu will find out."
"Don't be reckless…" Ying Chanxi whispered back, pressing her hands against Li Luo's chest and gently pushing, yet showing no real force—almost as if she was half-resisting, half-inviting.
After spending so much time together, Li Luo had long understood Ying Chanxi's nature in this regard.
Her mouth said "no, no," but in truth, she seemed to enjoy having things done to her with a hint of force.
When she whimpered, "Don't be reckless~," she really meant, "Come on, do it."
So Li Luo only smirked, leaned down, and kissed Xi Xi's lips.
A girl who has just bathed carries a faint, pleasant scent.
And everyone's scent is slightly different.
Even though they all used the same shower gel today, the lingering fragrance on each person ended up subtly distinct.
Li Luo couldn't quite describe Ying Chanxi's scent, but if he had to, it might be like a faint milky aroma.
Yan Zhusheng's scent was a light, clean fragrance, slightly like mint, but far less intense—extremely subtle.
Xu Youyu carried a hint of jasmine fragrance; after smelling it too long, one easily got dizzy—Li Luo suspected it might be Youyu's natural aphrodisiac.
But just as Li Luo was secretly teasing Ying Chanxi behind the headboard bed curtains, footsteps sounded below.
The next moment, the curtains were pulled open.
Yan Zhusheng's bare feet rested on the ladder as she poked her head in, expressionless, watching the two locked in a kiss.
Ying Chanxi startled at the sudden light, saw Yan Zhusheng watching beside them, screamed, and instinctively shoved hard to push Li Luo away.
But the headboard bed's height was limited—Li Luo's head slammed directly into the ceiling.
"Ow…"
Fortunately, the ceiling wasn't too hard; Li Luo rubbed his occiput and rolled to one side, while Ying Chanxi quickly turned sideways and gently felt his head: "D-did you hurt yourself?"
"I'm fine…" Li Luo sighed with a smile, "Why'd you react so strongly?"
"It's all because of Zhusheng…" Ying Chanxi pouted, "I never expected her to climb up suddenly."
"Sister's guilty," Yan Zhusheng blinked innocently, "Otherwise why be so scared of me seeing?"
"When you're kissing, if someone's watching, you'd get scared, wouldn't you?" Ying Chanxi muttered, cheeks flushed, "It's too embarrassing."
"Really?" Yan Zhusheng tilted her head in confusion, then stepped up one rung and leaned her upper body into the headboard bed.
"What are you doing?" Ying Chanxi widened her eyes as Yan Zhusheng climbed up, struggling, "There's barely any space up here—it's too cramped, we won't fit!"
"It's fine," Yan Zhusheng crawled over Ying Chanxi's body and plopped right onto Li Luo.
The headboard bed's ceiling had a curved angle—the entrance was highest, sloping lower toward the front.
When Li Luo lay at the very back, the ceiling was too low for him to sit up.
Now, as Yan Zhusheng climbed onto Li Luo, even slightly lifting her upper body caused the back of her head to brush the ceiling.
"Now it fits, right?" Yan Zhusheng claimed Li Luo's body, turning to Ying Chanxi.
Ying Chanxi: "... What's the point of squeezing in like this?"
"Of course, this." Yan Zhusheng turned back, pressed her lips to Li Luo's in a quick peck, then turned again to Ying Chanxi as if she'd done nothing unusual, "Sister, see? I'm not shy. If you don't believe me, I can kiss him longer."
Ying Chanxi: "...?!"
"Get off," Ying Chanxi snapped, shoving Yan Zhusheng, "This bed's only meant for two. You've shown your point—now leave."
"I came all this way," Yan Zhusheng blinked, clinging to Li Luo and pretending she'd kiss him again.
Seeing this, Ying Chanxi immediately rolled aside, shoved Yan Zhusheng's head away, stretched her neck, and seized Li Luo's lips herself.
But Yan Zhusheng refused to yield, nudging her head over to shove Ying Chanxi aside and reclaim the position.
"Wait… you two…" Li Luo was kissed by one, then the other, trapped by the tight space with no hands free to stop them—forced to let them fight over him like争夺 a toy.
Even space to speak was blocked; he could only occasionally squeeze out a word or two between their kisses.
"I'm saying..." Just at this critical moment, Xu Youyu's head slowly rose from the ladder at the entrance to the forehead bed, looking utterly speechless as she said inside, "What are the three of you doing?"
Startled by Xu Youyu's voice, Ying Chanxi suddenly realized what she had just done.
She sat up abruptly, only to bang her head on the ceiling, just like Li Luo had moments before—she let out a soft "Oof!" and collapsed face-down on the bed, clutching the back of her head.
"You okay?" Li Luo, still pinned beneath Yan Zhusheng, could only extend one hand to pat Ying Chanxi's head. "Does it hurt?"
"I-I'm fine..." Ying Chanxi hadn't hit hard, but the moment she recalled her own absurd actions, her face burned fiercely.
So she buried her face in the pillow, using the pain as an excuse to hide her flushed cheeks from the others.
"Finished typing?" Li Luo called out to Xu Youyu.
"Just finished. Came to see what you three were up to," Xu Youyu chuckled. "Didn't expect you to be having such a lively time."
"It's all Zhusheng's fault," Ying Chanxi mumbled, her face still buried in the pillow. "There wasn't even much space up here, and you still insisted on squeezing in."
"But sister, you were kissing him so enthusiastically just now..."
"Shut up!" Ying Chanxi cried out in embarrassment, then couldn't bear to stay another second—she scrambled to the edge, signaling she was getting off.
Xu Youyu chuckled and moved aside, waiting until Ying Chanxi climbed down. Watching her dart off toward the cross bed at the rear of the vehicle, she called up again: "Zhusheng, you coming down too?"
"Oh." Yan Zhusheng reluctantly climbed off Li Luo, then descended from the bed and returned to the living area. "Sis, no other activities tonight?"
From Yan Zhusheng's tone, she seemed reluctant to let it end.
"We have to wake up early tomorrow—climb the mountain by three in the morning," Xu Youyu said. "Better sleep early. What else did you have in mind?"
"Didn't you bring Monopoly?" Yan Zhusheng asked eagerly. "Or Flight Simulator?"
"Didn't bring any," Xu Youyu laughed. "If you really want to play, wait until your own birthday."
"Alright." Yan Zhusheng sighed in disappointment, stopped lingering, and headed toward the cross bed at the rear, leaving Xu Youyu and Li Luo alone.
It was already 9:30 p. m.
After watching Yan Zhusheng head to the rear cross bed, Xu Youyu climbed back up onto the forehead bed and smiled warmly at Li Luo.
"Someone must've really enjoyed that just now, huh?"
"Cough." Li Luo cleared his throat, forcing his lips into a tight line to suppress his smug grin. "Didn't we say we should sleep early? Lie down and go to sleep."
"Why the rush?" Xu Youyu lay down beside him, pulled the curtain shut, rolled onto her side, and draped her thigh over Li Luo. "Let's chat a bit."
"About what?"
"Life. Dreams." Xu Youyu traced idle patterns on Li Luo's chest, leaning close to whisper in his ear, "Night. Stars. Even the universe."
"Quite poetic," Li Luo murmured, pulling her into his arms and gazing up at the open skylight above—his hand couldn't help but slip beneath her clothes.
Xu Youyu shot him a look but made no move to stop him. She even lifted the curtain slightly to check whether Ying Chanxi or Yan Zhusheng had sneaked over.
Ying Chanxi wouldn't do something like that—but Yan Zhusheng always liked appearing out of nowhere, so Xu Youyu had to stay alert.
Once she confirmed all the lights below were off and the bedside lamps on the cross beds were extinguished, she relaxed, rolled over, and settled fully atop Li Luo.
"Gaokao's over," Xu Youyu said with a sly smile, her soft hair cascading down onto Li Luo's face.
"What are you trying to say, Youyu?"
"Nothing much," Xu Youyu chuckled. "You're officially a college student now."
"Not yet," Li Luo said, gripping her slender waist. "Just a reserve recruit for now."
"Then when will you truly step onto the battlefield?" Xu Youyu leaned down, whispering softly. "I'm waiting to fight beside you."
"Actually..." Li Luo, feeling the soft pressure of her body, breathed faster. "Even reserve recruits can fire a few shots on the battlefield."
"Aren't those just drills?" Xu Youyu grinned. "Even if you're holding real guns, you're firing blanks."
"So you mean..." Li Luo felt his throat dry. "You lost the typing contest to me earlier—I remember there was supposed to be a surprise?"
"Mmm~" Xu Youyu blinked, smiling. "But the biggest surprise? Not today."
"I don't think it's impossible." In the dim, cramped space, with Xu Youyu pressing down on him like this, Li Luo's self-control was slipping.
He flipped her over, pinning her beneath him, his breaths now heavy.
But Xu Youyu pressed her palm against his chest. Seeing he meant to go through with it, she whispered urgently: "Ying Chanxi and Yan Zhusheng are right here."
"Just keep it quiet."
"I didn't bring any," Xu Youyu pushed him off again. "Did you?"
Li Luo: "..."
"Besides..." Xu Youyu rolled onto her side, half-curling into his arms, and whispered close to his ear, "Are you sure you're truly ready?"
Li Luo fell silent, then said: "... What about you, Youyu?"
"I've never been afraid," Xu Youyu smiled. "As long as you dare, I dare."
"I..."
"Shh..." Xu Youyu's index finger gently pressed against Li Luo's lips. She whispered, "Time's still early. The answer can wait."
"My answer's already written," Li Luo said, gazing intently at Xu Youyu as he slowly pulled her finger away.
"I thought you'd hesitate a little longer."
"I made up my mind before I bought that villa," Li Luo pulled her tightly into his arms.
"So greedy," Xu Youyu wriggled free and climbed back atop him. "But it's my own choice."
With that, she pulled the thin blanket over them, concealing their forms.
Now only her head peeked out from beneath the blanket as she smiled at Li Luo: "I'll give you a small surprise this time."
Then she slipped fully under the blanket.
Midnight.
Yan Zhusheng, near the bathroom, heard a noise. Rubbing her eyes, she walked over to the sink, intending to use the toilet.
Then she saw Xu Youyu there—the sound of running water echoing.
"Senior sister."
"Hm?"
"Didn't you brush your teeth when you took a bath before? Why are you brushing now?"
