2. Source of Inspiration
If you've read "Senior Sister, Stop It!", you might still have some memory of it.
In Chapter 337 of that book, the protagonist Jiang Miao, as an online novel author, wrote a new novel called "My Tenants Are All a Bit Off."
It was the most original draft of this book, "Chongran Qingcong Shidai."
The idea for this concept was recorded in my inspiration database as early as January 2022.
Originally, before writing "Reborn: Reverse the Decade," I had planned to directly write this novel starting from high school.
Because I had already written two consecutive novels set in university, I was somewhat tired of it.
But since this was my first attempt at multiple female leads and my first serious attempt at a career arc, I decided to write a practice novel first.
I wanted to save the high school plotlines I intended to write until I could handle them properly.
With this mindset, "Reverse the Decade" was born.
It was hastily written according to the standard template of Reborn novels, and the original female lead names were "Yan Zhusheng" and "Xu Youyu."
But I loved these two names so much that I didn't want to use them in a trial novel, so I hastily changed them to two other names.
"Yan Chici" is simply a homophone for "eat vinegar."
"Xu Niannian" comes from the "Nian Nian" in "Nian Nian You Yu."
The name "Xu Youyu" in this book draws meaning from both "Nian Nian You Yu" and "Give a Man a Fish, Teach a Man to Fish."
After more than two years, I've finally managed to write this story, and I'm still very happy about it.

3. Book Content
Long ago, I decided I would one day write a Reborn novel set in high school.
The protagonist's goal after rebirth is no longer targeting Tencent, Alibaba, or ByteDance, but focusing on everyday life.
Occasionally using his Reborn foresight to make small profits, exploiting information gaps for gain, enough to secure his lifetime's wealth.
The remaining time will be spent indulging, enjoying, truly experiencing a high school and university life free of worries.
Sometimes I see reader comments saying, "Buy Bitcoin," "Why not trade stocks?" "Buy lottery tickets!"
Or comments like, "It's already 2014—every industry is saturated with capital; there are no opportunities left."
I understand your feelings, but after reading so many Reborn novels, I wonder if you've ever had another thought.
The protagonist's money is ultimately just a number—it never reaches our hands.
Since he's guaranteed to make money after rebirth, I'd rather see how he treats his own life afterward.
Crushing Alibaba and Tencent in business, gathering beauties in romance, achieving dual triumphs in career and love, ascending to life's peak.
I've read many such Reborn novels.
They're satisfying, stress-relieving.
But I've tried it before; given my personality, I probably couldn't write this type well.
That's why this book, "Chongran Qingcong Shidai," exists.
In the book's description, I listed several tags.
【Reborn】【High School】【Campus】【Daily Life】【Light Entertainment】
These should accurately summarize the book's core content and appeal.
There is no 【Romance】 here.
Because if both "Romance" and "High School" appear together in the description, it's likely to be censored.
And honestly, I'm not writing "Romance," am I?
I'm only depicting the adolescent confusion and subconscious longing for emotion between teenage boys and girls.
When I discussed this with a friend, he joked: "This isn't multiple female leads—it's no female leads at all! How can high schoolers date? They're just good friends!"
Of course, that's just a joke.
Looking back on my own memories from junior and senior high, there were many beautiful, tender moments.
Now, viewing them with my mature perspective, I can't even understand why I made certain choices back then.
Confused, ignorant.
But isn't that what youth is?
When I wrote "Liu Shaowen" and "Shao Heqi," I didn't dislike them—I actually found them kind of "cute."
Are they lickspittles?
Yes, and no.
Because their genuine cuteness is stirred by the inner tremors of youthful passion.
I've done some foolish things myself—just not as exaggerated as in the book.
Now, at 26, I probably can't recapture that feeling anymore.
When I see a beautiful woman now, I only think, "So pretty, want to *," and no longer harbor hope or expectation for so-called love.
Writing this book is like remembering and mourning my dead youth.
And also, offering incense to your youth.
If there are still students reading, cherish this moment, and may you continue to feel this fluttering heart.

5. Bonus Chapter Rules
1. Base the threshold at 3,000 first-month subscriptions; for every additional 100 subscriptions above that, add one bonus chapter. First-month subscription data will be taken from my backend at 0:00 the day after launch.
2. Base the threshold on the average subscription count from the day after launch; until the end of June, for every increase of 100 average subscriptions, add one bonus chapter.
3. Calculate monthly votes for June; for every full 500 monthly votes, add one bonus chapter.
4. A patron's reward adds one bonus chapter (please reward according to your means, don't strain yourself—especially students; supporting with legitimate subscriptions is already great).
5. Daily base update is 4,000 characters; for every additional 2,000 characters beyond that, count as one bonus chapter.
Example: On a certain day, the first chapter is 2,400 characters, the second is 2,300, and the third is 3,300. Total update for the day is 8,000 characters. After subtracting the base 4,000, 4,000 extra characters remain, so that counts as two bonus chapters.
The above rules apply only for June.
——————————
That's all.
Thank you all for your support.
Here, I wish you all a happy Children's Day in advance~
May we never lose our original heart, and still be boys when we return.
At midnight on June 1st, we'll meet without fail!
Mi Zhi Ji bows in gratitude~
