Chapter 825: Swimsuit Hot Spring
Li Luo watched the three girls return to their respective bedrooms, his heart tingling with anticipation.
But since Xu Youyu had said so, Li Luo quietly suppressed his curiosity and anticipation, deciding to enjoy the surprise they had prepared for him later.
He turned back to his bedroom, ready to change into his swimsuit, when suddenly a thought occurred to him.
All his clothes seemed to have been taken away by Ying Chanxi to the walk-in closet.
So…
Thinking this, Li Luo walked straight toward the walk-in closet.
As he pushed open the door, he saw Ying Chanxi, cheeks flushed, rummaging through a pile of suitcases left unpacked from yesterday.
"Ah!" Ying Chanxi startled at Li Luo's entrance, quickly slamming the lid of the suitcase shut, her face crimson as she asked, "Y-you came in here?"
"I'm looking for my swimsuit," Li Luo sighed, spreading his hands. "All my clothes are in these suitcases—what are you searching for?"
Li Luo leaned closer, curious to see what Ying Chanxi had pulled out.
But Ying Chanxi clamped the suitcase lid shut with both hands, refusing him a glimpse, her face flushed as she said, "Go away! Your suitcase is over there—I put your swimsuit on the right side. Go find it yourself."
"It's just a swimsuit," Li Luo glanced at the suitcase beneath her hands, already guessing what they were up to.
They simply wanted to take him up to the pool for some fun.
What puzzled him was that they'd already shown him their swimsuits before—why was Ying Chanxi acting so shy now?
Still, Li Luo didn't dwell on it. After finding his swimsuit, he glanced at Ying Chanxi again.
Seeing her still watching him warily, waiting for him to leave first, he chuckled, shook his head, and exited the walk-in closet to change in his own room.
He quickly stripped off his clothes, rinsed briefly in the shower, slipped on his swimsuit, dried himself, threw on a down jacket, and headed for the rooftop.
Butler Liu had already been waiting at the rooftop entrance for some time; when Li Luo arrived, he led him inside.
"Mr. Li, everything is ready. Happy birthday," Butler Liu smiled, guiding Li Luo to the edge of the pool.
Li Luo glanced at the steam rising from the pool, then at the barbecue grill and ice chest beside it, and paused in surprise.
"I'll be right at the rooftop entrance—call me if you need anything," Butler Liu said, then withdrew.
Li Luo stared at the setup, half-amused, half-exasperated, then walked to the pool's entry steps, hung his down jacket aside, and stepped quickly into the water.
"Ssshh…"
He hadn't expected the water to be this hot—1.2 meters deep, just reaching his waist, which was perfect.
After adjusting slightly, Li Luo slowly sank into the water.
"Never thought I'd use this pool for the first time as a hot spring…" Li Luo leaned against the pool's edge, arms resting on either side, gazing up at the clear sky, and chuckled.
But the feeling was quite nice.
It was mid- to late December, and temperatures had dropped to single digits on average.
Yet it was still noon—the sun hung high overhead, keeping the outdoor temperature around eleven or twelve degrees.
Soaking in an open-air hot spring was quite comfortable.
Li Luo enjoyed the warmth, feeling his whole body glow, when finally he heard footsteps behind him.
He didn't turn immediately, instead leaning back against the pool's edge steps.
The footsteps grew closer.
Li Luo expected to hear the rustle of a down jacket being removed—but he heard nothing.
The next instant, his eyes were covered.
Feeling the coolness over his vision, Li Luo smiled helplessly. "Who's being so childish?"
"Cough. Cough."
The person said nothing, deliberately clearing their throat with a deeper voice, urging him to guess.
But Li Luo knew the three girls too well—even with the altered tone, he recognized them instantly.
"Zhusheng, stop it. Get in the water before you catch a cold."
"Oh…" Yan Zhusheng, caught, obediently released her hands.
Only then did Li Luo turn his head and see Yan Zhusheng shedding her down jacket, revealing the swimsuit she wore.
"Huh? So it's this one?"
Seeing Yan Zhusheng's light yellow two-piece swimsuit, Li Luo's expression turned understanding.
The top was adorned with intricate patterns and ruffles, effectively concealing Yan Zhusheng's slight shortcomings.
The bottom was a micro-swimskirt, perfectly showcasing a pair of long, fair legs that made it impossible to look away.
This swimsuit had been chosen by Li Luo himself, when he took the three girls shopping before their trip to Qiongzhou City.
Each of them had bought three swimsuits back then, but since swimming opportunities were rare, Li Luo hadn't seen them in the others.
Nearly one or two years had passed—yet they'd dug this one out again.
"Pretty?" Yan Zhusheng stood at the pool's edge, letting him stare at her long legs as long as he liked.
But Li Luo quickly snapped out of it, pulling her into the water: "It's windy up here—don't catch a cold. Get in and soak."
"Oh." Yan Zhusheng obediently slipped into the warm water, then without hesitation threw herself into Li Luo's arms for a hug.
Leaning against his chest, Yan Zhusheng asked for a kiss, then said, "How did you know it was me?"
"Your hands smell."
"Huh?" Yan Zhusheng frowned, lifting her hand to sniff it. "Do they?"
"You can't smell it yourself," Li Luo chuckled. "But there's a faint fragrance—and even though you tried to lower your voice, I still recognized it. Easy to guess."
"So you like smelling things?" Yan Zhusheng blinked. "Are there other places that smell too?"
"Maybe. Depends on where you mean."
"Here."
Saying this, Yan Zhusheng lifted one leg, stepped back half a pace, and placed her foot on Li Luo's shoulder. "Wanna smell it?"
Li Luo: "... Stop it."
"I'm not fooling around," Yan Zhusheng said seriously. "Senior sister said you like kissing feet—don't you like mine?"
"That's not..." Li Luo quickly pulled Yan Zhusheng's foot away, his face dark with exasperation. "Why does she tell you everything?"
