Chapter 338: The Pitiful Three-Tailed Fire Fox (Second Update, requesting everything)

Fire-type skills failing against the enemy is absolutely fatal for the Three-Tailed Fire Fox, especially since its greatest strength is long-range energy attacks.

After the Blazing Bird entered the field, the Scorching Sun trait activated; accompanied by the rising of scorching red clouds, a massive fireball the size of a water vat rose slowly, hovering in mid-air dozens of meters up, pouring countless light and heat downward.

Under the weather of Scorching Sun, the fire-type skills of both Demon Pets, the Blazing Bird and the Three-Tailed Fire Fox, surged; this seemed beneficial to both sides, but because the Blazing Bird is Immune to Fire, it directly caused the Blazing Bird to expand its advantage.

However, Qin Xiaoxin did not yet know that the Blazing Bird possessed the Immune to Fire trait.

After the match began, the Blazing Bird flapped its wings and rushed rapidly toward the Three-Tailed Fire Fox.

The Three-Tailed Fire Fox is not skilled in close combat, so it naturally had to use its own advantages to target the opponent's weaknesses.

"Three-Tailed Fire Fox, Fireball!" At the first opportunity, Qin Xiaoxin chose to strike first.

The Three-Tailed Fire Fox opened its large mouth, and countless fiery red specks of light gathered rapidly, forming a fireball the size of a water vat, which rushed toward the Blazing Bird.

"Ignore it!"

To Qin Xiaoxin's surprise, the Blazing Bird not only did not retreat but instead actively moved to meet the Fireball.

Boom—

The moment the two made contact, the Fireball exploded with a roar, turning into countless crimson tongues of flame that splashed out, attempting to inflict greater damage on the Blazing Bird.

Unfortunately, under the baptism of fire, the Blazing Bird not only suffered no damage but instead wore an expression of enjoyment.

"What!" Seeing such a scene, Qin Xiaoxin was clearly taken aback, but by the time she reacted, the Blazing Bird had already swooped down toward the Three-Tailed Fire Fox.

Sharp Beak Drill!

While swooping down, the Blazing Bird spun violently, its sharp Bird Beak flashing with a startling cold glint as it pecked toward the Three-Tailed Fire Fox's head.

At this critical moment, the Three-Tailed Fire Fox only had time to dodge its vital points before being pecked in the back by the sharp Bird Beak; blood sprayed, leaving a wound deep enough to see bone.

With just a single strike, the Three-Tailed Fire Fox sustained a not-insignificant injury.

"Damn it, it's actually Immune to Fire!" Qin Xiaoxin finally figured it out, but she felt incredibly depressed inside.

This is the importance of intelligence!

If she had known in advance that the Blazing Bird could be Immune to Fire, Qin Xiaoxin could have at least taken precautions and would not have suffered this silent loss.

After succeeding, the Blazing Bird slammed into the Three-Tailed Fire Fox again, which was several meters away.

"Three-Tailed Fire Fox, use Flame Charge to dodge!"

Under Qin Xiaoxin's command, the Three-Tailed Fire Fox shuddered, flames suddenly appearing on its body surface; propelled by the flames, its explosive power surged, allowing it to dodge the Blazing Bird's collision and attempt to create distance.

"Blazing Bird, we use Flame Charge too!"

As the Three-Tailed Fire Fox dodged, the Blazing Bird also utilized the propulsive force of the flames to accelerate in pursuit of the Three-Tailed Fire Fox.

The Three-Tailed Fire Fox's movements not only failed to create distance, but due to the Blazing Bird's flight advantage, it was instead pulled closer and closer.

"Damn it, use Tearing Claw!" Qin Xiaoxin was very helpless; if this continued, the Three-Tailed Fire Fox would be slowly worn to death.

On the field, the Three-Tailed Fire Fox came to a sudden, sharp stop, then performed a nimble maneuver, appearing at the Blazing Bird's side and rear; it jumped high, and the sharp claws protruding from its paw pads swiped toward the vital point of the Blazing Bird's neck.

"Avoid the vital point, use Rapid Gale and Rain!"

Hearing Li Zhangsheng's command, the Blazing Bird twisted its body, successfully avoiding the vital point of its neck, but was immediately left with a long wound on its abdomen by the Three-Tailed Fire Fox.

However, the wound was not very deep, which had to do with the Three-Tailed Fire Fox's lack of sufficient strength.

Just as the Three-Tailed Fire Fox was about to fall to the ground, the Blazing Bird launched a counterattack, slamming into the Three-Tailed Fire Fox head-on and sending it flying.

Before the Three-Tailed Fire Fox could land, the Blazing Bird used its astonishing explosive power to appear in front of the Three-Tailed Fire Fox first, and in an instant, sent it flying again.

Repeating this cycle, the Three-Tailed Fire Fox was like a volleyball; in just a breath or two, it was sent flying by the Blazing Bird a full four times.

Although the individual power of Rapid Gale and Rain is not strong, it excels in using explosive power to complete several attacks in an instant, using quantity to make up for the lack of power and inflicting massive damage on the enemy.

Bang—

The Three-Tailed Fire Fox fell heavily to the ground; its body was covered in wounds, and it had suffered heavy damage.

Tearing Claw!

Adhering to the tactical principle of beating a dog in the water, the Blazing Bird gave the Three-Tailed Fire Fox no chance to catch its breath; its two claws twisted, the sharp claws on them flashing with a startling cold glint as it swooped down from the air.

The Three-Tailed Fire Fox's fur resistance is slightly poor; once hit by Crushing Claw, the consequences would be unimaginable.

"Quick, use Shadow Clone to dodge!"

At this critical moment, the Three-Tailed Fire Fox quickly transformed into several lifelike images; the Blazing Bird did not have the Light Bird's See Through Falsehood trait, nor did it have Aixi's astonishing sense of smell, so it naturally could not detect the real body's location at the first moment; it could only aim at one randomly, relying entirely on luck.

Unfortunately, what the Blazing Bird caught was a clone of the Three-Tailed Fire Fox.

It was also at this time that the Three-Tailed Fire Fox and the remaining clones that had not yet dissipated jumped up together, pouncing on the Blazing Bird from all directions.

"Resist Fire Ring!" Since the Blazing Bird could not see through to the Three-Tailed Fire Fox's true location, it would just push them all away.

In the sky, the Blazing Bird's body flashed with startling flames, followed by a sudden eruption; a thick ring of fire centered on the Blazing Bird expanded rapidly toward the surroundings, encompassing a range of about ten meters.

As soon as they touched the fire ring, the Three-Tailed Fire Fox's clones dissipated instantly, and the Three-Tailed Fire Fox fared no better, being forcibly pushed away by the Resist Fire Ring and suffering a certain amount of fire damage.

The Three-Tailed Fire Fox is different from the Blazing Bird; although it has strong fire-type resistance, fire-type skills can still cause it damage.

"Very good, give it the final Dragon Breath!"

In the sky, the Blazing Bird's belly visibly caved in, and it sprayed an extremely scorching Flame Pillar from its sharp Bird Beak; the Three-Tailed Fire Fox had just struggled to climb up from the ground when it was submerged in the scorching Dragon Breath.

Awoo—

Under the erosion of the Dragon Breath, a weak, miserable cry from the Three-Tailed Fire Fox came from within the flames; by the time the flames dissipated, the Three-Tailed Fire Fox had already collapsed on the ground, having lost its ability to fight.

The Blazing Bird defeated its opponent with a relatively relaxed posture, at the cost of only minor injuries.

Of course, this was closely related to the information asymmetry between the two sides; Qin Xiaoxin had suffered a secret loss from the very beginning, otherwise, the Blazing Bird would not have won so easily.

"The Three-Tailed Fire Fox has lost its ability to fight. Contestant Qin Xiaoxin, please switch to your next Demon Pet!"

The referee raised his eyebrows, looked at Li Zhangsheng in surprise, and then announced the result of the match.

In this way, Qin Xiaoxin only had one Demon Pet slot left.

Qin Xiaoxin shook her head with a bitter smile; at the thought of potentially being defeated by Li Zhangsheng in front of everyone, her heart was inexplicably filled with unease.

However, she still took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing the negative emotions in her heart; her Mental Power moved, and a gorgeous Purple Hexagram began to emerge on the field.
