Chapter 1384: Aftermath of Being Scammed — Asking for Advice
Aftermath of Being Scammed — Asking for Advice
This morning, the scammer arranged a refund for me, but said they had to deduct a 400 handling fee. I transferred it, and they only said it would take 4 working days to reply.
I threatened them for a while, and the scammer then said they'd deduct a 200 handling fee and return the rest to me via the original route, asking me to fill out an application form.
This whole thing has me fed up now. The other side isn't replying that quickly, so I figured losing 200 is just losing 200 — let them deduct it and return the rest.
The application form they sent over was for the pooled fund, written as an application to withdraw from the pooled fund.
Damn it, I really did get scammed.
Then they said again to have me hand over 200 to them, and they'd return the full amount via the original route.
I refused, telling them to just deduct the 200 directly and return the rest via the original route.
They said again that company rules wouldn't allow that, then called to say it was normal for me to have concerns. They'd refund me half first, then have me send the 200 handling fee to them, and they'd have finance refund the remaining half.
What should I do now?
If they refund me half, should I send them the 200 and let them refund the rest?
They haven't refunded the second half yet.
I'm going crazy — been dealing with this the moment I got out of bed, furious beyond words.
I've posted the other company's name and address in the bonus chapter. Does any reader know if that company and address are real?
