Chapter 662: The Dogs Take Revenge
The dogs all swarmed the man, pulling and biting.
The man's face twisted in pain; he stood there struggling, thrashing violently and slapping at the dogs hanging on him. Some were flung off, then barked wildly at the first chance, while others whimpered and yelped, tearing and biting without letting go.
He had been caught up with; there was no way he could run away. He could only endure the pain while thrashing and hurrying along, because he saw Ye Yaodong not far away, already approaching with a stick.
Though escape was doomed, he still had to make one last desperate struggle.
As Ye Yaodong ran closer, he shouted curses: "Sai Lin Lao Mu's wicked ghost, where do you think you're running? Once I catch you, I'll beat the shit out of you."
"Still trying to run? Stop..."
He quickened his pace, rushed up behind, and swung the stick straight at the man's shoulder.
"Ah!" Another scream of agony.
"You dared to set your crooked schemes on my dogs? I won't let you live."
Ye Yaodong didn't even look at the man's face; he just started beating him, striking him stick after stick while carefully avoiding his own dogs.
The man tried to escape, but could only shuffle a few steps. His two feet and the clothes on his waist were bitten tight by the dogs; the pain was unbearable enough, but he was also being dragged and couldn't break free.
"You lot, step away first..."
They were clinging to the man, making it hard for him to move. His waist was completely tangled by his dogs. He swung the stick and knocked the man to the ground, all while fearing he might hit the dogs.
The dogs were still furious; how could they listen to him? They kept clinging to the man's legs and clothes, tearing and biting, ignoring his commands.
"Move aside first; you're in the way. Once I knock him down, then bite him however you like..."
"Wuu wuu~"
"Wang wang wang~~"
They simply wouldn't obey; they just kept biting to their heart's content.
Ye Yaodong had no choice; seeing them still clinging to the man, he could only strike the man's spine, stick after stick.
The man couldn't dodge; he stumbled, accidentally stepped into thin air, and the whole of him fell into a stinking ditch nearby, then tumbled onto the grassy clearing beside it.
Another muffled groan...
The dogs reacted swiftly, immediately leaping into the nearby grass, surrounding the man and continuing to tear and bite.
"Ah~"
The man cried out in pain again.
"Damn it, bite him to death! You almost lost a dog brother, a dog son... Where did this wicked bastard come from, daring to attack my dogs? Kill him..."
Cursing, Ye Yaodong also jumped into the grass and kicked him hard a few more times. "You almost scared Laozi to death, hanging my dogs up in the middle of the night..."
"Sai Lin Lao Mu, I'll try hanging you at the door next..."
"Was the water on the nylon bag yesterday also splashed by you? Sai Lin Liang, good thing Laozi was prepared; I'm smart, I covered it with a nylon bag, or else you would have succeeded..."
"Damn, tell me, did you do it?"
On the ground, the man, surrounded by Ye Yaodong and a pack of dogs, curled into a ball, holding his head. He made no sound, only groaning and whimpering in pain.
"Speak or not? If you don't speak, Laozi will kill you..."
Not far away, a beam of light from a flashlight shone over, the glaring orange light making him squint slightly.
"Who's over there?"
"It's your big brother!"
"Dongzi?" Ah Guang jogged quickly forward. "What are you doing here?"
"Came out to catch a thief," he said, delivering another hard kick before looking up at Ah Guang.
"Shine the light on his face; let's see which Wang Ba it is? So bold as to sneak into my house in the middle of the night and lasso my dogs. Luckily I got out in time, or that spotted dog would have almost been hanged."
"Ah? Damn, you want to die, huh? You actually ran to your house to lasso dogs?"
Ah Guang shone the flashlight on the man's face, but the man blocked it completely with both hands. Ye Yaodong kicked wildly a few more times, even stepping on his face, yet still couldn't make him move his hands.
At the same time, Ah Guang noticed the spotted dog nearby; a rope was still looped around its neck, not yet untied.
At that moment, it was viciously biting the man's thigh.
"Xiao Hua, you're biting the wrong spot; you should bite the middle leg."
"Wang wang!"
Hearing someone call its name, the dog looked up at Ah Guang, barked twice, then lowered its head and continued its work.
From time to time, the man cried out in pain as the dogs bit him.
Ye Yaodong couldn't see the man's face, so he threw the stick aside, squatted down, and reached out to pry the hands apart.
The man was quite strong; he kept pressing his head down with all his might. Ye Yaodong could only pry and kick and beat until he finally pried open one hand, revealing half a face.
"Damn your mother, isn't this one of the father and sons from the Haiqing Village next door? What the hell is his name? Ah? A Qiu?"
Ye Yaodong's memory was still good; one look at that face and he remembered. This was the youngest of the father and sons who had secretly fished his cuttlefish from the sea area where he placed his cuttlefish egg incubators last year.
Luckily, he and Ah Zheng and Xiao Xiao, with their two boats, had occupied a nearby small island together, the two boats supporting each other, preventing their family from succeeding, and even counterattacking.
Later, the two villages fought a battle; the people from Haiqing Village were beaten down and thrown at the village entrance by their own villagers.
Damn it, who would have thought this guy would hold a grudge for so long and dare to come back?
"Damn it, the next-door village actually came to our village to steal dogs? They even stole from my house? Lin Bei, you're dead..."
"Dog days..."
"Is it possible he didn't specifically want to steal dogs? Maybe because your house has so many dogs, he could only kill your dogs first? That's why he came in the middle of the night with a rope to lasso your dogs?"
While speaking, Ah Guang also jumped down and untied the rope around the spotted dog's neck.
It had been tied for who knows how long; the fur on its body completely covered the rope around its neck. If not for one end of the rope sticking out long, no one would have noticed the rope tied around its neck.
"Don't move around; your Laozi and your dog brother are both helping you take revenge. Wait a bit!"
Ye Yaodong said gloomily, "People fear fame, pigs fear fattening. I guess these winter months, my reputation for collecting dried fish has spread; everyone within ten miles knows me. This person already held a grudge, so he found an opportunity to come to my door!"
"It must be. There are already many envious people; among neighbors, who knows if they might do petty theft? But for someone who already had a grudge, who else would they target? They would definitely seize any chance to come knocking. Luckily we caught him today; otherwise, who knows what trouble this rat would have caused."
"Laozi will kill him first... Yesterday, my three-thousand-jin pile of dried fish was stacked in the yard, and someone splashed a bucket of water on it. Fortunately, I was smart and covered it with a nylon bag; otherwise, I don't know how much loss I would have suffered."
After Ah Guang untied the rope around the Dalmatian's neck, he stroked its fur before letting it move forward again to vent its anger.
"Perfect, now we have the rope. Tie him up, drag him back, and let him try the taste of being hung."
"Don't..."
The man lay on the ground wailing, crawling a few steps in an attempt to escape, but with so many dogs pressing down on him, how could he be allowed to leave? It would only increase the pulling force and intensify the pain.
"Don't? You say don't, so it's don't? Who do you think you are? Dare to provoke Laozi, and you must be prepared to be caught. It's a good thing I didn't chop you up to feed the dogs; do you have any choice?"
Ye Yaodong directly bent the man's hand that was clutching his head backward, then pressed his knee onto the man's back, forcing him face-down onto the ground.
He reached out to bend the man's other hand, twisting it behind his back.
"Bring the rope, tie him up..."
Ah Guang pulled the rope taut, directly bound the man's wrists, wound it around several times in a fancy knot, and then tied a knot.
"Tie a tight knot! Don't think about untying it!"
"Alright!"
"I was wrong, let me go..."
"Shut up!" Ye Yaodong elbowed the man's back forcefully, causing the man named Ah Qiu to lift his head in pain.
He then pressed the man's head hard against the ground, rubbing it fiercely a few times before letting go and standing up, using his foot to nudge the pack of dogs still biting.
"Alright, my dogs, you won, you avenged yourselves. You can go home. I'll drag this guy back and hang him up to repay you one for one."
"Woof woof woof~"
Following the pressure of his foot, the dogs released their jaws. Taking advantage of the situation, they all wrapped around his legs, hugged his legs, rubbed against his feet, or circled around.
Occasionally, they let out low whines, as if complaining about their grievances.
"Awooo..."
"Whimper..."
Ye Yaodong squatted down, petted the pitiful Dalmatian, stroked its neck, and smoothed its fur.
"When we get back, I'll tell Ah Qing to buy a few big bones after dawn to add to your meal and nourish you."
The Dalmatian named Xiao Hua lifted its head, extended its tongue, and licked his face several times with wet saliva, instantly making him feel disgusted.
He immediately stood up, wiped his face fiercely a few times, and cursed, "Damn, does it have to be so disgusting? I even dislike my son's saliva, and you actually come to lick me?"
"I can only accept my wife's saliva! Go, go, go, let's go home. Lead the way ahead."
"Woof woof~"
The dogs immediately obediently ran forward, but after running a short distance, they immediately turned back to wait for him.
Ye Yaodong and Ah Guang pulled the bastard up from the ground.
With both hands twisted and bound behind his back, Ah Qiu couldn't shield himself. Ah Guang shone a flashlight fiercely on his face.
With patches of blue and purple, and red bloody streaks on his cheek from rubbing against the ground, he looked as wretched as one could possibly look.
The two of them also looked incredibly satisfied.
Ye Yaodong's heart felt relieved; at least his family's dogs hadn't been hung up in vain.
He kicked him hard again and shoved him, "Be honest and walk."
A pack of dogs stood before him barking wildly, as if repeating Ye Yaodong's words and urging him, "Be honest, walk faster."
Ah Qiu stumbled, looking at the pack of dogs surrounding him with predatory eyes, wondering if he regretted it.
