Chapter 435: Surrounded by the Twelve Evil Gods of an Island Nation? Are You Sure?
As if sensing the intrusion of an extremely powerful aura, many lights of varying colors drifted out from within the Jingguo Shrine, but the tones of these lights were overall dull and gray; one look and it was clear they were not fit for the big stage.
Tang An stood in the courtyard, watching those who had come to pay respects, about to be swept away by the evil gods in the Jingguo Shrine.
"Since you've already come, why leave!"
A blue-green light flashed in Tang An's eyes, and those people were crushed by a force out of thin air, flesh and blood splattering everywhere.
Seeing that lives had been lost, those things inside the Jingguo Shrine could finally hold back no longer.
Twelve rays of light appeared one after another around Tang An, surrounding her tightly in the center.
Tang An did not take those things unfit for the big stage seriously; instead, she lowered her eyes to look at the person who had set up the Array, seeing the hope of salvation on his face.
"Respected God, save me."
"It is she who caused the earthquake and tsunami; she is our country's greatest enemy!"
"Oh?" Tang An chuckled, "Indeed, once you see your Faith, you have the strength to speak."
"It doesn't matter. The grand gift I am giving you is to personally destroy all your Faith."
The so-called god at the lead wanted to save their people from Tang An's hands.
But in Tang An's eyes, what were they worth?
With a wave of her hand, Tang An tapped her fingers and pressed down, and a majestic force suddenly descended. The pressure belonging to a Half-Saint Peak arrived, instantly smashing those twelve figures so that they had no choice but to kneel on the ground, kneeling before Tang An.
"Goods unfit for the big stage—even if you are canonized as gods, you are merely filthy gods transformed from the filth in a shrine."
The female evil god at the lead had eyes red-orange like fire, as if filled with rage. However, she did not know what she was muttering in her mouth; Tang An could not understand her at all.
"Speak a human language."
"You actually openly invaded our territory and killed mortals!" The person who set up the Array seemed to have suddenly gained strength, acting as an interpreter.
Hearing this, Tang An suddenly laughed.
"What? You are allowed to invade my territory and kill millions of my people, leaving behind piles of bones, but I kill a few people and you are unhappy?"
"But the more unhappy you are, the happier I am. Since I am happy killing your people, why not kill some more?" Tang An's eyes carried a cold, mocking glint as she looked at the volcano not far away.
The female evil god saw what Tang An intended to do and immediately ignited with flames, straining to break through Tang An's pressure, continuously forming seals and casting spells to condense a sun-like fireball in mid-air.
Tang An flashed into mid-air and glanced sideways at the fireball. "With the effort you spend casting this spell, I could have killed you a hundred times over."
"With just this little bit of fire, it's not even enough for me to grill fish."
She had thought she could come here to properly stretch her muscles, but now it seemed she had come with high spirits only to return disappointed.
It doesn't matter; since she was disappointed in the fighting, she would just find amusement elsewhere.
Tang An teleported above the fireball, tapped her toe and pressed down, and a cyan-blue light instantly enveloped the entire fireball, severing all connection between the female evil god and the fireball.
Afterward, Tang An flashed to the side of the fireball; her body appeared so tiny in comparison. Yet, with a wave of her hand, she unleashed a world-destroying pressure.
She struck out with one hand, directly altering the fireball's attack trajectory, splitting it into dozens of small fireballs. With a wave, she hurled all the separated fireballs out.
Where were they thrown?
Naturally, to add some color to the volcanoes.
The Earth Veins of the island nation, due to dozens of volcanoes being awakened simultaneously, caused the earth to shake and mountains to sway, leading the land to crack open once more. It added frost to snow for a country that had just suffered a disaster.
Tang An watched everything happen with indifference; she did not care how many people would die or whether any were innocent.
Because no one could forgive the people of the island nation on behalf of their ancestors. And what she was doing was merely collecting a blood debt as was only right and proper.
Even if there were innocent commoners, then let it be considered paying for the lives of the commoners of the Huaxia land of the past.
Seeing that they could not deal with Tang An, the twelve evil gods each activated the Array beneath their feet, summoning those so-called war gods once worshipped by the Jingguo Shrine and the armies that had died in the past.
Below were black masses of armies and various evil gods, and at her sides were dozens of erupting volcanoes, flying sand and stones, and thick smoke from gushing magma.
The survivors were all screaming to escape, but Tang An could not understand what they were shouting.
But it didn't matter; they were all going to die anyway, so it didn't matter if she understood or not.
"You twelve things cannot stop me; you don't expect that adding a few more minions will be enough to trap me, do you?"
"Hiss~ I really don't blame me for looking down on you; these few minions aren't even as many as the ghost soldiers under Senior Bai Qi. As for combat power... tsk tsk tsk..."
Sigh, she felt like a big villain right now, bullying people in a crushing manner.
The twelve evil gods looked at each other, seemingly wanting to risk it all, fighting with their lives, drawing upon Earth Power and the power of nature to deal with Tang An.
Tang An stood calmly in mid-air, watching them exhaust all their tricks; half the sky was filled with a dark moon, the other half with extreme Yang. At the same time, the sea surged, thunderclouds rolled, and a giant tornado carrying swarms of demonic beasts attacked her.
She simply lay half-reclined in mid-air and yawned.
And this behavior of hers was, in the eyes of those evil gods, a great humiliation.
"Why are you looking at me like that? Keep fighting; make the visual effects even bigger, don't be stingy with the money." Tang An even took an Immortal Fruit out of her Wealth Gathering Ring, subconsciously wanting to wipe it on Nezha.
But Nezha was not by her side, so she could only wipe it on herself.
"Unclean, but eating it won't make you sick."
The twelve evil gods and the dead souls that had flown up from the ground to charge at Tang An were all filled with the anger of being humiliated.
"Ah, that's the right flavor. Put more emotion into it; the rage isn't enough, keep working on your acting."
She was like an outsider watching a movie, even critiquing their acting.
The twelve evil gods were so angry they were about to explode, one after another driving their spells, bringing the thousands of dead souls to block all of Tang An's escape routes.
It was as if once the spells arrived, Tang An would have no possibility of escape and would absolutely be dead without a doubt!
"Boom—"
"Boom boom!"
"Buzzing" explosions rang out in mid-air; the fluctuations of the spells further aggravated the damage to the Earth Veins, to the point that many islands split directly in two.
The twelve evil gods were all exhausted, rising from the ground in a sorry state. Seeing that Tang An had not escaped, they could not help but reveal the joy of victors on their faces.
Joy?
Did she allow it?
"Are you looking for this seat?"
Once the energy fluctuations from the spell explosion vanished, Tang An's figure remained standing in place without a scratch, and she surveyed them with a playful gaze.
