Chapter 76: Publication Announcement

Before I knew it, this new book has reached 160, 00 words and is about to be published.

The last time I published a book was on New Year's Day in 2023, over a year ago.

In truth, whether it was my previous book or this one, there have been many issues with my writing, and I am grateful for the corrections and support from my readers.

I promise all my readers here that this book will never be abandoned, left unfinished, or have a rushed ending; I will certainly provide everyone with a complete conclusion.

Let me first talk about the plan for this book: the length is expected to be between 2. and 3. million words, covering the story up to the end of World War II, roughly around 1930-1940, followed by several free side stories (all future side stories will be free!).

It will likely take about a year and a half to finish writing, so by the time it is completed, it will be nearly 2026.

Precisely because the writing span of a long novel is so long, it is difficult to have readers who support it from the very beginning to the end.

If there are any readers who supported my previous book from its release to its conclusion, I want to say that I am deeply grateful—thank you so, so much!

I also thank the readers for their support of this book; I will definitely write it well and not let everyone's support go to waste.

Now for the most important part: the rules for extra updates.

I want to challenge myself with this book because I have the ability to write 10, 00 words a day, and when my thoughts are flowing, writing 10, 00 words a day is quite easy.

Therefore, the rules for extra updates for this book are as follows:

1. One extra chapter for every 1, 00 monthly tickets per month.

2. One extra chapter for every 30, 00 Qidian coins in tips, and three extra chapters for a "League Leader" tip.

3. One extra chapter for every 100 comments in the "Extra Update Thread"; see the comment section for specific rules regarding that thread.

4. One extra chapter for every 150 investors (starting from the 388 investors on September 6th).

The above rules for extra updates have no upper limit; once the conditions are met, the extra updates must be completed within 3 days. If overdue, the extra updates will be doubled. I hope everyone will hold me to this.

Additionally, let me talk about the plan for explosive updates upon publication.

I currently plan to write 10, 00 words a day from September 6th to September 12th, for a total of seven days. Since my expectation for the initial subscription count is 500, regardless of whether it reaches 500 or not, the seven days of 10, 00-word explosive updates will proceed.

Above the initial 500 subscriptions, for every 150 additional subscriptions, the explosive update period will be extended by 3 days, with no upper limit.

The initial subscription count only counts the number of subscribers within 24 hours of the release of the first VIP chapter. Once the 24 hours have passed, I will post the results, so you don't need to worry about me going back on my word.
