Chapter 1013: A Flourishing Trend!

There is one month left until the Dayu County public welfare literary performance event.

The number of out-of-town tourists coming to Dayu County has clearly begun to increase.

The sense of smell of capital is keen; as the exposure of Dayu County continues to increase, all the shops in the City Square have been leased out.

This has provided an unexpected joy for the Zhao Group to continue the construction of the City Square.

Zhao Hui dialed Tang Ye's phone, "Secretary Tang, I have good news to tell you: the shops in the City Square are now all leased out, and they are currently being renovated in full swing, with a centralized opening expected in May."

The City Square was a mess left behind by the former and former-former County Party Secretary; it was highly controversial nationwide at the time and caused quite a stir.

Tang Ye was intentionally thrown into Dayu County by He Haiyang for this very reason.

Now that Tang Ye has been in Dayu County for over a year, the City Square has transformed from a previously unfinished project into a star project of Yanzhou today; this reversal is also unexpected.

Deep down, Tang Ye still feels very gratified.

Although Tang Ye did not invest much energy into the construction of the City Square, he has been paying attention to it all along!

There is a saying that goes well!

Success does not have to be through me!

But!

Success must have me in it!

"President Zhao, you have worked hard. If there is anything you need me to coordinate, just give the order," Tang Ye said with a smile.

"I will absolutely not add any trouble to you," Zhao Hui said hurriedly.

Subsequently, Zhao Hui convened a meeting for the staff, requiring that all shops in the City Square must be fully opened before the start of the May Literary Performance.

If the merchants have any problems, the Zhao Group can provide assistance.

At the end of April, all the shops in the City Square opened.

The entire Dayu County presents a flourishing trend.

This is the driving effect of tourism on the economy.

It is also the effect that tourism-based poverty alleviation aims to achieve.

……

Three days before the literary performance event is held.

The county town has become lively.

The vast majority of these people have come specifically for the literary performance event.

Although the literary performance does not have a star-studded cast, after months of long-term publicity and advertising bombardment, many people have developed a strong interest in this event.

The flow of people is like weaving, with a large number of out-of-town tourists pouring in.

The county town is overcrowded, and practitioners in hotels, catering, taxis, and so on are all beaming with joy.

The merchants are smiling, and the common people are also smiling.

However, the Government is facing unprecedented pressure.

Because the flow of people is too large and the government staff have not experienced such a scene, the pressure on departments at all levels is great, and each one is as if facing a formidable enemy.

All leaders of the County Party Committee and County Government have devoted themselves to the front line to supervise and organize various tasks; no one dares to be lazy or slack during the event.

Tang Ye sits in the conference room, organizing a coordination meeting.

After there are more things to do, many departments have started to pass the buck.

As the main lead of this event, Tang Ye must personally understand the problems and provide solutions.

After a morning of coordination, the differences between the departments were finally resolved.

Shen Yuping sits on Tang Ye's right hand, secretly thinking that Secretary Tang's prestige is becoming stronger and stronger.

This still has to do with his personal ability.

Everyone has seen the many changes he has brought to Dayu County.

More importantly, Tang Ye proposed to improve the treatment of the staff and even issued bonuses, so everyone is convinced by him.

At the end of the meeting, Tang Ye cleared his throat and said in a serious tone,

"Comrades, everyone has worked very hard these past two months. Taking County Magistrate Shen as an example, she has been working overtime until one or two o'clock for two consecutive weeks.

There is no other way; our foundation is too poor, and many areas are very fragile. If we want to welcome the opportunities brought by this literary performance event, we must put in enough effort.

Although there are conflicts among everyone, as long as there is mutual understanding, they can certainly be resolved.

Everyone's starting point is the same: to hold this event well.

Next, I invite County Magistrate Shen to announce several measures, and the relevant departments must actively cooperate."

Shen Yuping paused for a moment and began to say,

"Starting from tomorrow, we will organize free buses to receive tourists from the Yanzhou Railway Station; as long as they are out-of-towners arriving in Dayu County, they can ride for free.

Each bus is also equipped with a guide, who will explain in detail to every tourist the human history, scenic spot introductions, and travel precautions of Dayu County on the bus.

Every tourist can receive a travel brochure for free; the brochure not only contains introductions to all tourist attractions in Dayu County but also includes supervision and complaint telephone numbers.

At the same time, it clearly provides the price caps for various types of rooms in hotels of different levels as well as the price caps for catering; as long as anyone encounters prices exceeding these caps, they can call to complain, and once confirmed and verified, they can receive a reporting reward of 500,000.

In addition, Dayu County has opened buses to the scenic spots at the county bus terminal and various major locations in the county town, which are completely free during this period."

After Shen Yuping finished speaking, Tang Ye said seriously,

"Although the incident of price gouging last time has already subsided.

But, a fall into the pit, a gain in your wit; we cannot fall in the same place again, and the same mistake is strictly forbidden to be made again.

Comrades, do not feel that it is cumbersome or troublesome; we must cherish this hard-won opportunity.

We must make every tourist who comes to Dayu County feel at home."

……

On the day before the literary performance was held, the Provincial Song and Dance Troupe arrived in Dayu County by bus.

After Xue Ying arrived at the City Square, she almost thought she had come to the wrong place.

Because compared to the desolate scene from several months ago, there had been earth-shaking changes.

It even made one somewhat suspicious: is this still a National-level Poverty-stricken County?

Tang Ye provided a reasonable explanation for this confusion.

Although Dayu County is very poor, it is willing to show its best side to the outside world.

The Government put effort into arranging the event venue, invested a lot of heart and energy, strictly controlled the budget, and absolutely did not spend a single cent recklessly.

"Troupe Leader Xue, if you have any needs, just tell me. This is Comrade Shen Yuping, the Deputy County Magistrate of Dayu County, who will cooperate with you throughout the process."

Xue Ying met Shen Yuping for the first time, "Deputy County Magistrate Shen, I ask for your kind guidance."

Shen Yuping said politely, "Troupe Leader Xue, please don't be so formal."

After the Provincial Song and Dance Troupe made some minor adjustments, they began their on-site rehearsal.

Tang Ye stood offstage and watched for a moment.

Although they were not wearing their formal performance costumes, these actors were clearly well-prepared, and their morale was good.

He did not have much research into song and dance, but the live feeling was still very shocking; there was a sense of being pleasing to the eye and being edified by art.

Three days later, the cultural performance arrived as scheduled.

Shaanxi Provincial Satellite TV and Yanzhou Television would both broadcast the program live.

Despite having practiced for several months, Li Youyou was still a bit nervous before going on stage.

Because not only were there thousands of audience members and city leaders offstage, there were also a large number of viewers in front of their television sets.

More importantly, she had to live up to the high expectations of Troupe Leader Xue.

When Li Youyou went on stage, a person in the shadows looked at her gloomily, their eyes filled with jealousy and curses...
