Chapter 1378: This Result is Too Outrageous!

Gao Qidong returned to his office.

The Secretary knocked and entered.

"Mayor, this is the document drafted according to your requirements. Please take a look and see if there are any areas that need adjustment."

Gao Qidong took the document and scanned it quickly, "Remove Tang Ye from the list of personnel to be disciplined!"

The Secretary was stunned for a moment, "Understood!"

After the Secretary left, Gao Qidong sighed helplessly.

It had to be said that Tang Ye was a man of both courage and strategy.

At first, Tang Ye exposed the issue of falsified economic indicators.

Many people felt he had poked a hornet's nest.

This was a foolish act that lacked political wisdom.

He himself had felt that he could take the opportunity to suppress Tang Ye.

But, thinking about it carefully now, it was highly likely that all of this was part of Tang Ye's plan.

Although he was only the County Magistrate of Yechuan County, he had a clear understanding of the city's overall economic situation.

Besides Yechuan, other counties and districts also had instances of economic inflation.

Therefore, he used the Provincial Government Inspection Team's visit to Yechuan for research, and by bringing up the assessment, he exposed this phenomenon.

The ultimate goal was to burst the economic data bubble of the entire Xiyang.

Once the glamour faded, everyone had turned off their "beauty filters"!

In the end, Yechuan County could rightfully sit on the throne of being number one in economic indicators!

Three days later, this document was officially issued.

The ranking of economic indicators in the document sparked widespread heated discussion.

No one expected that Yechuan County would actually leap to become number one in the city.

The original number one, Wenyang City, fell to the fifth position.

After receiving the document, Ma Ran excitedly knocked on the door of Tang Ye's office.

"County Magistrate Tang, please take a look at this document!"

Tang Ye took the document, scanned it carefully, and then pumped his fist, "Yechuan is number one!"

Ma Ran said excitedly, "Yes, we are number one! We have been suppressed by fake data for so long, and now we can finally breathe a sigh of relief. After the document was issued, everyone in the government compound was discussing it. Everyone feels that their efforts were worth it."

Tang Ye nodded, "This year's year-end bonus will reflect everyone's value."

Although the bonus for Yechuan County taking first place was not much, it was even more of an honor and recognition.

"Xiao Ma, there is something you need to consider carefully."

Ma Ran was a bit surprised, "County Magistrate Tang, if you have any instructions, please feel free to say them."

Tang Ye said, "In a while, I am going to the Central Party School to study. This will be a closed-door study session, and the duration is quite long, almost half a year. I think you can take advantage of these six months to improve yourself."

Ma Ran had actually been thinking about this issue.

As Tang Ye's Liaison Officer, his job content was to assist Tang Ye.

With Tang Ye going to the Party School to study, it was impossible for him to follow him for these six months.

"County Magistrate Tang, I have a request. I would like to take a temporary post at the grassroots level to use these six months to recharge and strive to improve my abilities."

Tang Ye thought to himself that Ma Ran had been with him for a long time, so he understood him very well.

He had only just started the topic, and Ma Ran had already guessed his thoughts.

"Your idea coincides with mine. Prepare yourself to go to the grassroots level. If you want to go further in your official career, you must have sufficient grassroots experience as a foundation."

Ma Ran nodded vigorously, "Please rest assured, County Magistrate Tang, I will not let you down."

Wenyang City.

Mayor's office.

Acting Mayor Han Zhengyi couldn't help but sigh secretly when he saw the new ranking.

Although the true situation in Wenyang had long been within his expectations, it still made him feel immense pressure.

Han Zhengyi dialed Tang Ye's phone number.

"County Magistrate Tang, congratulations. Yechuan County has climbed to the number one spot in the latest ranking."

Tang Ye smiled modestly, "Mayor Han, Yechuan being able to achieve such results is inseparable from your contributions. You were once the County Party Secretary of Yechuan, and the results Yechuan has achieved now are because you laid a good foundation during your tenure."

Han Zhengyi said with a smile, "The main credit still belongs to you. If you hadn't come to Yechuan to serve as County Magistrate, Yechuan would never have had such a big change.

During your tenure in Yechuan, you not only thoroughly rectified the political atmosphere and severely cracked down on illegal and criminal underworld gangs, but you also pushed forward the Eastward Strategy and the Old City Renovation work very thoroughly.

If it were anyone else, they would never have been able to reach this point."

Tang Ye smiled, "Being recognized by you really makes me feel encouraged. Mayor Han, you have just arrived in Wenyang; although Wenyang is a mess right now, I believe that with your level of ability, you will definitely be able to sort it out and make achievements very soon."

Tang Ye's words were very reasonable!

The more chaotic Wenyang was, the more it could highlight his governance ability.

"Thank you for your encouragement."

After hanging up on Han Zhengyi, Tang Ye breathed a sigh of relief.

He held that document, and his mood was still very uplifted.

It had been almost two years since he arrived in Yechuan.

Yechuan had finally leaped from the middle tier to the number one spot.

His own governing ability had been demonstrated.

All of this is inseparable from hard work and dedication.

For cadres, political achievements are always the greatest wealth.

The changes in Yechuan are obvious to all.

The common people have personally felt the city's rapid, day-by-day transformation.

But in the end, it still has to be presented in the economic indicator data.

In fact, many cadres within Yechuan County have realized that Yechuan's economic indicator data has already surpassed Wenyang's.

Because Wenyang's data contained too much padding, it had been suppressing Yechuan.

Tang Ye's plan this time has undoubtedly changed this situation.

……

County Party Committee Office.

Yu Jing and Ding Zhen were drinking tea.

The Liaison Officer walked in and reported, "Secretary Ding, the document issued by the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government has arrived. The results of the city-wide economic indicator audit are out. Leaders of multiple townships have been issued a circular of criticism."

Before the Liaison Officer could finish speaking, Ding Zhen hurriedly took the document, "Let me see."

Ding Zhen turned to the last page first.

On the list of disciplinary actions, he actually did not find Tang Ye's name.

"Strange, there is actually no disciplinary action for Tang Ye."

Yu Jing took the list, his eyes widening, revealing an expression of disbelief, "Ye, Yechuan is actually, actually first!"

Only then did Ding Zhen see the new ranking table, and he finally understood why Tang Ye was not on the disciplinary list.

He had originally thought that Gao Qidong coming to Yechuan for a surprise investigation would cause trouble for Tang Ye, or at least result in a disciplinary action for him.

But the result!

Not only did Tang Ye not receive a disciplinary action, but he instead proved his worth.

In two years, Yechuan County jumped from a middle-tier position to first place.

To others, this document was a circular of criticism, but from another perspective, it was a public commendation for Yechuan County.

Yechuan County's economic indicators ranked first in the city, but it had nothing to do with him, the County Party Secretary, which made Ding Zhen's sense of frustration even more intense.

Gao Qidong's move this time really left Ding Zhen unable to understand……

Wasn't the original plan to make things difficult for Tang Ye?

How did it end up like this!

He indirectly assisted Tang Ye, issuing him a "certificate of honor" full of gold content!

This result is too outrageous!
