Chapter 358: Another Intimate Encounter
Wu An and Gu Anran had just torn the window paper, right at the moment of savoring the taste.
Outside the sky was still dark, pitch black.
A lone man and a lone woman were together in a room, and it was Gu Anran who took the initiative outside Songhang Gate.
It could be called a lamb entering the tiger's mouth.
If Wu An doesn't take a couple of bites, can he still be a man?
Turn off the light.
"Ah—... A An, don't… don't mess around…" Gu Anran hurriedly shouted.
Half pushing, half yielding…
Wu An heard the phone ring, didn't lift his head, reached out, felt the phone, and casually turned it off.
Gu Anran came to see Wu An, actually already prepared in mind, but he didn't expect Wu An to be so "enthusiastic"…
Hugging and cuddling, at most just a kiss.
Wu An was being far too forward.
Gu Anran scolded.
Wu An answered with a hum, listening, the "push further" was not at all ambiguous.
Gu Anran said verbally that it was not allowed, but still "stood steady and held firm".
The two coordinated in a truly seamless intimacy!
(Water, there is water… but this water is really not good water, I won't elaborate.)
After almost half an hour, Gu Anran tidied up their clothes, hurried away from the bedside, standing a bit farther from Wu An.
Wu An propped his head with his hand, chuckling.
Gu Anran gave him a side eye, that was called full of charm.
You see.
You look.
Is it that he can't hold back?
Is it that he can't stop himself?
Embracing such a woman as beautiful as a flower, wholly devoted to him, he simply couldn't restrain himself at all.
He added.
The two already knew each other inside out, so there was no need for too much "politeness".
Anyway, Wu An wasn't pretending to be a gentleman.
He wasn't a good person to begin with.
Gu Anran tidied herself, picked up the clothes that had fallen on the floor and tossed them over: "Aren't you going to put them on quickly?"
"My phone has been ringing several times already."
Wu An quickly dressed, this time he didn't fidget any more, after all he was in a sage moment.
He picked up the phone and saw it was A Qing calling.
He turned back.
A Xing said he and Lao Fu Tou were already in bed; Wu An responded twice, saying he would be there right away, even if he had just gotten out of bed it didn't stop him from saying he was already on the way.
Gu Anran had already boiled water and prepared a towel.
Wu An finished washing up, and a lunchbox was already handed into his hand.
"Take it onto the boat," Gu Anran paused, then continued, "I originally planned to eat with you."
Wu An laughed, "Once we're done being busy these two days, let's go downtown for shopping and a date."
Gu Anran's pretty face flushed, knowing what crazy idea Wu An was scheming, said, "Let's talk later, I've been quite busy lately."
"Planning to rent a shop, already negotiating."
Wu An asked, "Have you decided what to do?"
Gu Anran said, "Let's do snacks."
Wu An nodded.
Doing snacks is of course no problem at all; not to mention some niche items, even the common street‑side grilled squid can make money as long as foot traffic is sufficient.
He inquired, and Gu Anran was referring to that shop with a "for transfer" sign.
The two went out.
They hadn't gone far before they met villagers heading to the sea; those who were close teased the pair, while those less friendly sized them up from a distance.
Some people whispered to each other, unclear what they were saying.
They arrived at the pier.
The two separated.
Gu Anran went to buy seafood, while Wu An carried the lunchbox onto the boat.
A Qing called out, "Brother, it's already six o'clock."
Wu An hummed, "What's up?"
"I slept a bit longer, you got a problem?"
"Did you have breakfast?"
A Jing took out buns and fried dough sticks, saying, "My mom made them herself."
Wu An opened the lunchbox Gu Anran gave; inside was congee, a simple century‑egg and lean‑pork congee.
"They can even be paired together." He took a spoonful of congee, a bite of bun, a bite of fried dough, and in three quick bites filled his stomach.
A Qing also ate until he was full, praising Gu Anran's sister‑in‑law's cooking as quite good, only a little bit worse than his own mother's.
Wu An kicked him.
A Qing hehe-laughed, stood up, tidied the bowls and chopsticks, sat back down, and happily smoked.
"Brother, these days are really comfortable."
"Hmm?"
"Before, we were so miserable—every day we couldn't even get breakfast, let alone lunch and dinner."
"Eh, yeah."
"Guess what—my mom got up in the middle of the night just so I could have a fresh hot bite."
"I told her not to be so busy in the future, but she wouldn't agree. Hehehe."
A Qing finished speaking, then gave a silly laugh.
Wu An also smiled, looked at the pink lunchbox not far away, and thought, "Indeed."
Lao Fu Tou shouted, "A An, shall we go collect the crab pots first?"
Nobody said it out loud, but everyone was worried about those crab pots.
Wu An thought, then said, "Let's first collect the adhesive nets."
"Put down the adhesive nets early, then collect the crab pots, and finally gather the adhesive nets before heading home."
"Try to get home before dark."
A Qing said, "That's still pretty easy today."
Lao Fu Tou shook his head.
"Who knows how big the catch will be?"
A Qing is still too young; although today's work isn't much, with two fewer people on the boat, if the catch is too big we might not be able to keep up.
Thinking, Lao Fu Tou slightly adjusted the boat's course, and the fishing boat headed straight for Shuangzi Dao.
Wu An thought of Gu Anran, took out his phone to call Mai Hangyu, and the call connected quickly.
Mai Hangyu thought the call from Wuhan was inquiring about the town's B&B progress, so he volunteered a lot of information.
Wu An didn't interrupt, waited for him to finish, now acknowledged Mai Hangyu's work, saying the project is going well.
Mai Hangyu is still modest, saying mainly because there's money in the account, he also has the confidence to push the project.
If there's no money in the account, he wouldn't dare let the workers work that fast—otherwise they'd be waiting for the workers to demand payment.
Fan Laoshi's design drafts keep coming over; his current work mainly is this, but he hasn't been spared his friends calling him a dog client dad.
Wu An listened to him finish, then asked, "Earlier I asked you to inquire about town shops—did you have time to check?"
"I definitely wouldn't neglect the task you assigned." Mai Hangyu paused, then said, "I've already organized some information; waiting for you to come to town to see."
"Brother, the shops on the two streets in town—you really aren't considering them?"
"Just the two rows of houses behind the two streets in town now—I think they're really not great; given the town's current development, the existing two streets feel like they're constantly shrinking; could those two back streets have a chance to develop?"
"Buying a house isn't like building a B&B where you can raise funds and build simultaneously; buying a house requires paying real money outright."
"In the city/county, buying a house can be financed with a loan, but in this town's rural area you can only pay the full amount upfront; they don't accept installment payments."
He also knows Wu An has surely considered it, but still can't help giving a reminder.
"I know what you're saying." Wu An also didn't elaborate further, nodded: "Alright, when I have time, you come with me to check it out."
"Town shops aren't impossible either; I recall there's a milk tea shop with a transfer sign."
"Is that shop for rent or for sale?"
Mai Hangyu thought, then said, "Seems like it's for rent."
Wu An said, "You first help me inquire clearly about that shop—whether it's for rent or for sale."
"If they're willing to sell and the price is right, I'll take it."
Mai Hangyu agreed: "Okay."
"I'll have my grandpa help."
Wu An smiled: "With Lao Mai helping, there definitely won't be any problem."
