Chapter 577: Let Me Go!
She struggled desperately, but Ailixiya held her tightly; those arms coiled around her like vines, and she couldn't break free at all.
"Don't…~ Hold me a little longer?"
Ailixiya's voice was sweet, with that coquettish lilt, yet the pressure of her grip didn't ease at all.
She rested her chin on Ilya's shoulder, turned her face to look at Ilya's flushed, crimson face, and curled the corner of her mouth into a wicked grin.
"Let me go!"
Ilya kept struggling, but the more she fought, the tighter the arms clenched, so tight that she could feel the soft curve of the body behind her pressed firmly against her back.
Ailixiya tilted her head, admiring the frizzy little cat in her arms, then stuck out her tongue and gently licked Ilya's earlobe.
Ilya shivered all over!
A tingling sensation spread from her earlobe to her whole body in an instant, and her face flushed a vivid red, reddening up to the base of her ears and her neck!
"You—you—!" she stammered, both embarrassed and angry, unable to speak smoothly.
Ailixiya looked at her expression and smiled even more happily.
She lifted a hand and pinched Ilya's cheek; the feel was soft and tender, simply irresistible.
"What a little face, so tender?"
She pinched again, "Such a cute little sister, let big sister play with you a bit longer?"
"You—you wicked woman—! Give Robin sister back to me—!"
"Robin?"
Ailixiya tilted her head, then nudged toward the sofa, "Isn't she just over there?"
Ilya followed her gaze—
Robin stood there, motionless.
She watched Ilya being held in Ailixiya's arms, showing no expression, no reaction.
"Robin sister...?"
Ilya's voice carried a hint of sobbing.
Ailixiya's tone was light and airy:
"She's mine now. Though she still has a bit of a temper, she'll be obedient soon enough."
Her fingers brushed lightly across Ilya's face, sliding from cheek to chin, then down the neck, finally resting on her collarbone and giving a gentle press.
"Do you want to join us too? I can make you even cuter, you know?"
Ilya's face reddened further, this time not just from anger but also from embarrassment.
The feeling of that hand wandering over her made her hair stand on end, but even scarier was the strange thought that suddenly sprang to mind—
(She... she's so beautiful...)
(Being treated like this... doesn't seem so bad...?)
Is that right?
No!
Ilya snapped her head back, flinging that terrible thought away!
How could she have such a thought?!
That wicked woman kidnapped Robin sister, and now she's bullying her; Ilya should hate her, so why—
Ailixiya watched Ilya's shifting expression, her mouth curving even deeper.
"What were you thinking just now? Tell big sister, okay?"
"Nothing at all—!"
Ilya summoned a sudden burst of strength and finally broke free of those hands!
She shot forward like an arrow released from a bow toward the shattered floor-to-ceiling window!
"Bang—!"
The glass explodes!
Ilya fell from the eighteenth floor, the night wind howling into her ears, whipping her hair into a wild frenzy!
Her mind went blank, only wanting to flee that terrifying woman, to escape the one who sparked those strange thoughts—
Wait, she's still falling!
Ilya snapped back to her senses, quickly channeling magic to steady her body.
(Fly! Fly fast!)
She forced her magic, and finally, with still several meters above the ground, she steadied herself.
She hovered midair, gasping heavily, and looked back at the shattered window.
Two people stood at the window.
Robin had at some point risen, standing by the window, expressionless, staring at her.
Ailixiya stood behind her, resting her chin on her shoulder, one hand encircling her waist, the other waving at Ilya.
Robin gave no reaction, merely staring blankly into the distance, those lake‑green eyes lacking any focus.
Ilya's heart felt as if something had yanked it hard.
"Robin sister..."
At that moment, a howl rose from below!
Ilya looked down, her pupils dilating instantly.
On the ground, countless yellow figures had suddenly emerged—Monkeys, tens of thousands of them!
They bore all sorts of bizarre weapons: long spears, big cannons, and even a few gigantic slings!
At this moment, those weapons all aimed at her!
In the next second, countless bananas poured down like a torrential rain!
Ilya didn't have time to think, could only desperately dodge!
She darted through the night sky, using magical projectiles to shatter the incoming bananas, but there were so many—dense and countless—that she couldn't dodge them all!
"Bang!"
A banana slammed into her shoulder, and the exploding banana mush smeared her face!
"Bang!"
Another one hit her leg, the pain making her grit her teeth!
Ilya clenched her teeth, glanced at the window upstairs, where Ailixiya was still smiling and waving.
Robin still stood there, motionless.
She knew that charging now would be suicide, so she could only retreat first and figure out the situation later.
She gritted her teeth, turned and flew toward the distance, vanishing into the night.
Perspective shift.
The night wind poured in through the shattered window, stirring Robin's skirt and hair.
But she still stood there unmoving, as if the wind, the sounds, everything happening before her eyes were irrelevant to her.
Ailixiya rested her chin on her shoulder, watching the pink figure gradually fade into the night, a satisfied curve forming at the corner of her mouth.
"How do you feel?"
Her voice was light, with a hint of playfulness.
Robin gave no reply.
Her eyelashes twitched.
In those hollow eyes, a faint glimmer suddenly flashed—a Rage, a struggle to break through with all one's might!
Ailixiya's hand hovered over her face, observing that flash of light with interest.
"Want to resist?"
She whispered, "Want to break through my control?"
Robin's body began to tremble, the movement slight but unmistakable.
The tremor started at the fingertips, spreading to the arms and then the whole body.
A faint expression of pain flickered on her otherwise expressionless face.
Ailixiya's smile deepened.
"Come on~"
She said in a cloyingly sweet voice, her tone full of encouragement, but those crimson eyes were full of mockery, "Maybe next time, you'll be able to move?"
Robin's tremor lasted a few seconds, then—
stopped.
Ailixiya sensed her change, her smile deepening further.
"Now that's good?"
She straightened up, walked around to Robin's front, lifted her chin with a hand, making her look at her.
"But it's fine, the more stubborn, the more fun."
Robin looked at her, those eyes lacking Rage, only a hollow bewilderment.
Ailixiya leaned close, placing a gentle kiss on her forehead.
Robin's body quivered slightly, then returned to calm.
"Soon, you'll belong entirely to me."
Outside the window, the night was as black as ink.
In the distance, the cheers of the Monkeys rose and fell.
