Chapter 596: I'm Dying—!

~6 min read 1,099 words

Ailixiya struggled wildly, the black tubes she twisted rattled "clank clank" but did not loosen at all, "You damned—! It's you—!"

Ailixiya tilted her head, a look of innocence on her face.

"Your mouth really stinks?"

Gudazi seemed about to say something terrible; she opened her mouth, the few words were about to burst out—

"You extra—"

Before the words finished, Ailixiya's mouth twitched slightly.

The black tubes bound to Gudazi suddenly tightened, and countless black spikes sprouted from the tube walls, instantly piercing Gudazi's body!

Blood splattered!

Gudazi's eyes widened as she looked down at the spikes piercing her; the expression on her face froze.

She stared blankly, watching the black spikes emerge from her body, watching the blood spray—then she suddenly laughed.

"Hahaha—!"

She laughed even more wildly, more insanely, her face showing no pain, only a twisted excitement!

The blood that flew out turned in midair into countless black liquids, moving toward Ailixiya like living things!

Ailixiya lifted her hand and gently spread her five fingers.

An invisible Barrier materialized out of nowhere; the black liquid struck the Barrier and was bounced back!

At the same time, Ailixiya's body glowed with dark‑green light, the light alive, instantly Corroding the rebounded black liquid!

Under the Corrosion of the dark‑green light, the liquid began to change, turning from black to dark‑green, and then—

"Swoosh swoosh swoosh!"

They turned into countless dark‑green beams, shooting back at Gudazi!

Gudazi was hit by those beams, her body pierced again in midair!

"Ah—!"

She let out an exaggerated wail, the sound containing little pain, more a sense of… performance.

She struggled violently in midair, her expression and movements like a solo act.

"It hurts so much—! I'm dying—!"

She shouted while struggling, yet her face still bore that manic grin.

Ailixiya looked at her state, smiled and shook her head.

At that moment—

A massive purple silhouette crashed in from the side!

Berserker!

Its huge mechanical body carried terrifying impact; both arms grasped a gigantic Light Sword, the tip pointing at Gudazi!

"Bang—!!!"

The Light Sword pierced Gudazi's body, the massive impact sending her soaring into the sky!

The Berserker's Thruster spewed fierce Purple Flame, propelling it and Gudazi straight toward the heavens!

The speed was astonishing, leaving a dazzling purple trail across the night sky, like a reverse‑flying meteor!

Gudazi, stuck on the sword tip, flew upward; her scream echoed in the night, growing farther and more distant.

A Xing looked up at the trail disappearing into the clouds, his golden eyes unmoved.

He lowered his gaze toward the hole in the hotel.

There, a purple‑black dress, crimson eyes, pointed elf ears, and that annoying smiling face.

Corrosion.

They were looking down at A Xing, that smile full of amusement.

Perspective shift

Ilya curled up behind the sofa, watching the silhouette standing at the hole.

Robin remained motionless behind the sofa, less than five meters from Ilya.

This is an opportunity.

Ilya held her breath, inching out from behind the sofa.

Ilya's movements were light and slow; each inch she moved she paused to observe Ailixiya's reaction.

But the purple‑haired woman seemed completely absorbed by the people below, not turning around at all.

Three meters.

Two meters.

One meter.

Ilya finally reached Robin's back.

She took a deep breath, clenched the ruby, and then—

"Bang!"

A stick struck the back of Robin's head!

Robin's body wobbled, then fell softly backward.

Ilya quickly reached out, steadied her, and cradled her in her arms.

Robin's body was very light, so light it made Ilya's heart ache.

She lay there with eyes closed, leaning in Ilya's arms, her pale face expressionless, breathing so faint it was almost imperceptible.

Ilya glanced up at the hole; Ailixiya still stood there, back turned, seemingly unaware.

Ilya dared not linger; she held Robin and inched toward the exit on the opposite side of the room.

Her movements were light and slow, each step careful, lest she make any sound.

Finally, she vanished behind the door with Robin.

Perspective shift.

Ailixiya stood at the edge of the hole, her hands still clasped behind her, her posture so graceful as if nothing had just happened.

The wind stirred her violet‑blue long hair, the strands drifting lightly behind her, making her delicate face appear even more otherworldly.

She looked at the gray‑haired girl riding the Pink Horse below, a sweet smile tugging at her mouth.

A Xing also watched her.

In those golden eyes there was no emotional fluctuation, as if she were looking at something inconsequential.

But the hand gripping the Flame Gun tightened ever so slightly.

Ailixiya lifted her hand and gave a gentle wave toward her, as if greeting an old friend.

She said nothing, yet the smile on her face, the provocative expression, all exuded a composed confidence—

A Xing's fist hardened.

She did not hesitate.

The Flame Gun in her hand was hurled forcefully, the spear ablaze with golden Flame streaking like lightning straight toward Ailixiya's face!

Ailixiya raised an eyebrow slightly, and a violet Barrier instantly materialized before her.

The Barrier resembled a massive prism, completely enveloping the Flame Gun.

The golden Flame burned wildly within the Barrier, yet could not pierce the thin violet film, only struggling futilely inside.

Ailixiya curled her lips, about to say something—

"Boom—!!!"

The Flame Gun suddenly exploded!

The golden Flame instantly expanded in the cramped space, its violent shock shattering the violet Barrier.

The fragments scattered, the golden Flame surged outward, instantly engulfing the entire hole!

Ailixiya's figure vanished within the flames.

The Flame Gun in A Xing's hand reconstituted.

She did not look at the flames, but spun sharply and thrust the Flame Gun behind her!

"Clang—!!!"

The massive clang of metal collision erupted!

Ailixiya appeared behind her, a hand blocking the spear.

That slender, fair palm somehow firmly caught the Flame Gun blazing with golden Flame!

"That was a quick reaction?"

Ailixiya laughed, extending her other hand to gently pat the Pink Horse's rear, "Where did you get this horse? That's unexpected, when was this thing created? What is its name?"

The Pink Horse gave no answer.

But it answered with action—its hind hoof rose sharply, kicking at Ailixiya with a flash faster than the ear could be covered!

Straight toward Ailixiya's face!

Ailixiya instantly vanished from the spot, reappearing on a broken utility pole ten meters away.

She stood on one foot atop the slender pole, her body as steady as a rock, not even a wobble.

She looked at the Pink Horse, raised an eyebrow, her expression a bit surprised.

"Your temper really erupts?"
