"Floating Life Burning Karma Fire Lotus" is said to be a spiritual plant passed down from generation to generation in Yongning Temple in Jinyuan Datong Prefecture. It is a treasure of the temple, but it was buried in the sea of fire during the Northern Wei Dynasty's destruction of Buddhism, and this Buddhist spiritual object has been missing since then.

In the Daoist sect, the former is called "Original Spirit Fetus Corpse-Raising Art," and the latter is called "Xuanming Host Knowledge Corpse-Raising Art."

These two methods have always been controversial in the Daoist sect. Each sect's Dharma lineage holds its own views, all believing that their own corpse-raising method is the true longevity method.

Among them, the "Original Spirit Fetus Corpse-Raising Art" consumes more time, but has lower requirements for the corpse itself, and bears less karma. The "Xuanming Host Knowledge Corpse-Raising Art" has higher requirements for the corpse itself, and basically does not need to be considered below the third realm in the lifetime. At the same time, it bears greater karma, but there are more people practicing it, just because this method can raise oneself.

Practitioners make arrangements in their lifetime, and after death, they lock their essence and Qi, and then use the means arranged in their lifetime to raise their own corpses, so that they can live a second life. However, such means are stealing the vitality of heaven and earth. Once the Golden Core tribulation or the Immortal tribulation cannot be crossed, it is immediately soul-scattering, and there is no chance of reincarnation.

Meizhi Mountain has both of these methods.

He used the "Original Spirit Fetus Corpse-Raising Art" to raise the insect corpse, because the insect corpse was originally a larva. As for the karma of the corpse, he would avoid it if he could.

This is the "Jiugong Soul-Locking and Spirit-Closing Talisman," which is a secret method recorded in the "Longevity Fetus Essence Manifestation Secret Decree."

This talisman method was first created by Daoists walking in the world to protect mortals from being hooked by evil things. It is a protective talisman method. Later, on the basis of this method, later generations constantly strengthened the prayers, and it became the "Jiugong Soul-Locking and Spirit-Closing Talisman" with great power, which can prevent the soul and primordial spirit of practitioners from being called away by demons, and can even hang the life of practitioners before they die, not letting the soul disperse in a short period of time.
