Chapter 391 : Collection Game
A cheer erupted from behind Felyn.
It was the sound of the crowd cheering after a member of the Eternal Scroll Divine Sect completed a piece of work.
This world had no photographs.
To be able to preserve one's youthful beauty, at the most wonderful time of one's life, was the wish of countless girls.
Not to mention being able to appear in a painting with the boy hidden in their hearts.
Viloti, in his arms, tilted her head slightly, shifting her position in Felyn's embrace. Her amber eyes looked over toward that spot with some curiosity.
"Want to go?" Felyn looked down at Viloti, who was gazing in that direction.
Viloti nodded, then shook her head.
In her heart, she desperately wanted a portrait with Felyn. It would be a memory between them, a memento of their time at Saint Andros Academy.
But she also knew that now was not the time to talk about it. She didn't want to cause trouble for Felyn.
"Felyn, you should go. I don't want to go."
Felyn ruffled the hair of Viloti in his arms, knowing she was thinking of him.
He turned his head to look at Daiyi and found that her gaze had also fallen on the sect's painting.
"Right, although there might not be time for him to paint a portrait for us, ordering commemorative rings shouldn't take much time, right?"
Getting a painting meant appearing in public view and being discovered by others, but to get commemorative rings, one only needed to register their partner names.
A simple matter.
Near the members of the Eternal Scroll Divine Sect, there was a temporary registration desk.
A girl with a ponytail sat at the table, flipping through document information on a communication sigil.
"Excuse me, you're Mr. Felyn, right? Felyn Sorester."
"Yes."
Felyn stared intently at the girl in front of him, afraid that upon hearing his name, she would report to Adelina or Zervanie.
But thankfully, she didn't.
"Uh, Mr. Felyn, the noble members who want to be your partner are Viloti, Adelina, Zervanie, Seraphina... and Her Highness Dorothy..."
She adjusted her large-framed glasses, looking at the legendary Felyn.
Daiyi listened to the long string of names and leaned close to Felyn's ear. "Are you playing a collection game? Planning to win over all the most beautiful girls tonight?"
"I didn't even know about any of this." Felyn rubbed his temples. He hadn't expected that all these young ladies would want to be his partner.
And Seraphina, what are you joining in the fun for!
"Hmph, are you showing off that all these young ladies are chasing after you without you even knowing?"
Daiyi's moist breath brushed against Felyn's ear. "To have so many young ladies chasing you, although I'm open-minded and won't get that jealous, this number is a bit too much. Even a harem should have some restraint."
When Daiyi said she wouldn't get that jealous, it meant she would still get jealous.
Viloti saw Daiyi and Felyn whispering behind her, pouted, and gently tugged on Felyn's sleeve.
"Fe-Felyn, if we don't hurry, we'll be discovered by others."
"Right, right. Miss, please continue," Felyn said to the girl behind the desk.
The girl adjusted her large-framed glasses and looked at the legendary Felyn. "So, will you choose Miss Viloti and this Miss Daiyi beside you to be your partners?"
"Yes. Let's sign and stamp it."
Felyn just wanted to get the stamp quickly so he could leave this place.
Viloti gently nudged Felyn's shoulder with her arm, stood on her tiptoes, and even started to hum softly.
The young lady looked quite happy now.
A faint smile appeared on her expressionless face.
She felt that after fighting with several young ladies for so long, she had finally achieved victory.
After confirming that Felyn and the others' signatures were correct, the girl in front of them picked up the stamp, ready to press it onto the paper.
Just as the stamp was about to fall, a pair of fair, slender hands covered the spot for the seal.
"Excuse me, miss, it seems the name of Felyn's partner is written incorrectly. Would you like to check again?" a gentle voice followed.
"It's not wrong, is it?" The girl adjusted her glasses and looked up in confusion.
She saw the princess, her pinkish-purple hair dancing lightly in the air.
"Your Highness the Princess?!"
Dorothy had one hand on the table and the other covering the spot for the stamp.
She had finally caught up.
"Please add the name Dorothy Sivishus, and then remove the names of the two students, Viloti and Daiyi, thank you."
"Bu-but..." The girl was in a difficult position.
Viloti's hand pressed down on the paper, her gaze meeting Dorothy's without flinching.
"Your Highness, I want to be with Felyn."
The two were about the same height, both with rather petite figures.
The smiling Dorothy and the expressionless Viloti seemed like people from two different worlds.
"Miss Viloti, I saw you with Miss Daiyi. Could it be that you also want to return to the Church of Truth with Miss Daiyi?"
Dorothy's gaze shifted from Viloti's face to Daiyi's.
"Miss Daiyi, could you please explain? Running away with a transfer divine art right after saying all those things, that's really..."
Dorothy's finger waved in the air. "That's really... a... bit... too... much. Aren't we friends?"
Dorothy took two steps closer to Daiyi and whispered in her ear, "Even if we've fallen for the same man, we can still share, you know."
"Hmm? What does Your Highness mean?" Daiyi hadn't expected Dorothy to proactively suggest such a thing.
"The present Brother Felyn and the future Brother Felyn are mine. As a friend, I can let you be with the past Brother Felyn."
Being with the past Felyn meant she could only be with the Felyn in her memories.
That couldn't be considered sharing at all.
"Oh, right, Brother Felyn."
The purple in Dorothy's eyes grew more intense. She had finally come before her beloved Brother Felyn.
"Brother Felyn, Dorothy has something to say to you too."
Dorothy gently tugged on Felyn's sleeve, stood on her tiptoes, and rested her head on Felyn's shoulder.
"Brother Felyn, to think you're with Miss Daiyi. The days of living with a beautiful girl must be very happy, right? After all, Miss Daiyi is very pretty."
"Oh, right, even Miss Daiyi's underwear and such, it must be Brother Felyn who washes them for her, right? How annoying. Brother Felyn has never washed mine."
Dorothy's sickly sweet voice made Felyn feel as if he had plunged into an abyss, a bone-chilling coldness washing over him.
Tonight, Dorothy had not only found out about the "sister" Olivia by Felyn's side, but also that his "friend" Daiyi had been living with him all along!
"Brother Felyn, Dorothy is really angry right now," she said, lightly tugging at Felyn's collar and secretly tracing his neck with the tip of her tongue.
"Brother Felyn, why would you do this to Dorothy? Why live with another woman? Why are there so many girls around you? Dorothy alone is clearly enough. Brother Felyn is really... so... playful."
"A playful Brother Felyn needs to be punished. Come home with Dorothy."
Felyn knew very well what Dorothy meant by "going home."
"Dorothy, can I..." Felyn swallowed, not quite daring to look at the Dorothy beside him.
"Brother Felyn wants to say you won't go back with me, right?" Dorothy gently poked Felyn's shoulder. "You can't, Brother Felyn. No one can take my Brother Felyn away. You can only be mine."
Felyn turned his head and looked at the school gate in the distance.
If only he could reach that place, he could escape tonight's battlefield.
It seems... this is as far as I can go?
Felyn sighed softly. It seemed leaving tonight wouldn't be so easy.
The top priority now was to appease Dorothy's anger.
Otherwise, he really would be tied up and taken away by Dorothy.
"Brother Felyn, no matter what excuse you come up with, I won't listen to you tonight." Dorothy also seemed to see that Felyn was trying to find a way to escape. She smiled, wanting to make him give up.
Felyn spoke up, "By the way, Dorothy, before we go, why don't we have the Eternal Scroll Divine Sect paint a picture for us?"
"Eh?"
Dorothy blinked, looking at the sincere expression on Felyn's face. "Now that you mention it, I suppose Brother Felyn and I should have a portrait together..."
