Chapter 174

Matchmaker Zhang had already agreed with her that she would go to the city for a blind date the next day, and she had already told her parents.

The next morning.

She was all dressed up.

Matchmaker Zhang sent word that the man had something to do, and the blind date was postponed.

Two days in a row.

Some bad words began to spread in the village.

They said the man didn't take a fancy to Qin Huairu at all, that postponing the blind date was a euphemism for cancellation, and that Qin Huairu's desire to enter the city was wishful thinking.

"Little Qin, I know you've been wronged."

"I guarantee you, it was really just an accident!"

"I couldn't help it either; the man had something to do temporarily and had to postpone it. Now, didn't I come to pick you up to go to Beijing for a blind date?"

Matchmaker Zhang was all smiles.

She was silver-tongued.

She soon persuaded Qin Huairu to let bygones be bygones and follow her to the city for a blind date.

The two soon arrived in Sijiu.

They headed straight for Red Star Sihe Academy!
