Chapter 1007: Rescuing the Medical Team

~8 min read 1,581 words

A black soldier roared and lunged fiercely at He Yuzhu.

He Yuzhu countered with a precise lock, used the momentum to exert force, and slammed the man heavily onto the ground.

He said loudly, "If you want to keep your Commander alive, take me to see your person in charge immediately! In less than half an hour, your Commander will be executed."

The black soldier pinned to the ground kept spouting insults; perhaps accustomed to acting like a tyrant, he refused to yield at all: "I don't believe you would really dare to lay a hand on our Commander!"

He Yuzhu curled his lips coldly: "How many days has your Commander been missing? If I didn't have absolute certainty, how would I dare to break into this Longtan den alone?"

"Who is looking for me?" A burly figure walked slowly out of the workshop; his military uniform was crisp, and his eyes were full of murderous intent.

"I am Major Ibrahim Yading. I have full control of this place; you can speak to me."

He Yuzhu released the soldier beneath him and took out a tissue to wipe his palms in a leisurely manner.

"I came here today to make a deal with you. Release Boss Yu, and I will return Musa to you."

Major Ibrahim narrowed his eyes slightly, a chill appearing at the corners of his lips: "You are the one who saved Boss Yu last time?"

He Yuzhu nodded calmly: "That's right, it was me."

The Major's sharp gaze locked firmly onto him, his tone carrying an unquestionable sense of oppression: "You had better be clear about what the consequences of lying will be."

He Yuzhu scoffed: "Rest assured, I have no grudge against your Commander; keeping him is useless!"

Ibrahim lifted his chin: "I think so too! Tell me, how do you intend to carry out the exchange?"

"Order your men to withdraw from this factory, and I will leave with you. Your Commander is by the seaside."

"I believe you!" Ibrahim turned his head and whispered to his attendant beside him, "Pass the order down: have every company withdraw from the factory and release the one surnamed Yu."

The attendant acknowledged the order, turned, and ran quickly toward the various workshops to convey the command.

An hour ago, the few bodyguards around Boss Yu had already been unable to withstand the pressure and had voluntarily thrown their Rifle out of the window to surrender.

The Muslim Party Army swarmed in and, without a word, immediately bound and detained Boss Yu and his few personal bodyguards.

At this moment, Boss Yu was being held in the workshop undergoing interrogation, with the enemy constantly pressing him for the identity of the person behind him.

Boss Yu had a fairly tough backbone and had not spoken yet.

The messenger rushed into the interrogation room, and the Company Commander in charge of the questioning looked up abruptly, his face full of disbelief.

The messenger lowered his voice: "Major, the Commander has fallen into the hands of a Huaxia man. The other party wants to exchange the Commander for the hostage surnamed Yu."

The Company Commander's expression sank instantly.

The messenger added immediately: "Major Ibrahim has ordered everyone to temporarily withdraw from the factory and release the hostage."

The Company Commander pondered for a moment and nodded slowly: "Untie their ropes and let them go."

He Yuzhu stood on the cargo bed of a truck, surrounded by more than twenty black soldiers with loaded Rifle, their muzzles pointed squarely at him.

Yet He Yuzhu's expression was indifferent as he lit a cigarette on his own: "Even if you bring another hundred men to guard me, if I really want to escape, you won't be able to stop me."

The soldiers stared at him fixedly, wishing they could swallow him alive.

They had never seen such an arrogant person; even with a blade against his neck, he remained calm, and he didn't take them seriously at all.

Even though anger surged in their hearts, everyone could only swallow their fury back into their stomachs.

The vehicle drove forward for about five kilometers, and He Yuzhu raised his hand to signal a stop: "We've arrived."

He pointed toward the seaside, where a dilapidated factory building stood quietly; its corrugated iron roof was covered in rust, and as the sea breeze swept by, the steel frame emitted a creaking sound.

"Your Commander is inside the factory. Come in with me to see him!"

After speaking, He Yuzhu jumped off the vehicle first.

Ibrahim followed behind with more than fifty soldiers.

He Yuzhu walked near the broken factory building and, using his intent, placed Musa directly into a corner of the factory.

Ibrahim was a cautious man; upon reaching the factory entrance, he stopped immediately and pointed out a few soldiers: "You go in first to scout; be careful and watch out for an ambush!"

Several soldiers entered one after another with their Rifle, their footsteps echoing continuously in the empty factory.

Not long after, a tall soldier walked out carrying Musa on his back.

Musa slowly regained consciousness, his eyes still somewhat dazed, but upon seeing his own men and catching sight of He Yuzhu to the side, he instantly perked up and shouted at the top of his lungs: "What are you all standing there for? Hurry up and catch him! He has killed many of our brothers!"

He Yuzhu smiled faintly: "Truly a dog's nature, remembering the food but not the beating."

Musa's eyes widened: "Why haven't you moved yet? With over fifty people, can you not even capture one man?"

He Yuzhu did not answer and moved his intent.

Within a radius of twenty meters, those soldiers who had entered the factory with loaded Rifle vanished instantly without a trace.

Musa froze in place, his eyeballs almost popping out, his lips trembling incessantly: "This... what on earth happened?"

He Yuzhu scolded coldly: "You people really remember the food but not the beating. I intended to spare your life, but you insisted on seeking your own death. Very well, you might as well return to where you belong."

He raised his hand and struck Musa unconscious with a single palm.

There were still over a hundred soldiers lingering around the perimeter of the factory; he had to deal with all of them to avoid leaking the news.

He Yuzhu's expression was calm as he took High Explosive from his Personal Space and finished setting it up in the courtyard.

After a moment's thought, he raised his hand and fired a shot, blowing Musa's head apart directly.

Immediately after, he raised his voice and shouted: "The Commander and the Regimental Commander are both dead! Everyone, rush into the factory and capture the murderer!"

After shouting, He Yuzhu turned and retreated through a back window of the factory.

The soldiers outside heard the bad news and, like a disturbed hornet's nest, swarmed into the courtyard in a frenzy.

Seeing that everyone had stepped into the blast range, He Yuzhu pressed the detonator button firmly with his thumb—Boom!

A massive flash of fire shot into the sky, and rubble and twisted iron sheets mixed with human figures were blasted into mid-air.

The few soldiers left guarding the vehicles outside the courtyard were dumbfounded; before they could recover from the shock, He Yuzhu had already rushed forward, and after a few gunshots, they all fell to the ground.

He had always detested fickle people.

Since they had provoked him, they should not hope for a second chance.

He Yuzhu released a car from his Personal Space, turned the steering wheel, and drove away.

In the rearview mirror, only a billowing mass of black smoke remained.

The night passed without incident.

Just as the sky was beginning to brighten, He Yuzhu boarded the ferry with the Huaxia delegation.

Before the ship had set sail, Minister Sun hurried over with a look of great urgency, his expression extremely grim: "Factory Director He, something has happened again."

He Yuzhu frowned: "What kind of situation?"

"Something happened to a hospital we are aiding locally; more than thirty staff members have all been kidnapped. The hospital sent an emergency message back saying that those who abducted them were not local militants, but all white people, appearing to be mercenaries from Europe."

He Yuzhu sighed softly: "In which area is the hospital located?"

"It is over thirty kilometers away from here. A rebellion broke out in that city last night, and it seems the Temporary Government's troops have already withdrawn," said Deputy Minister Sun.

"Can't the soldiers from our fleet go to rescue them?"

Minister Sun shook his head: "Without United Nations authorization, they cannot enter Somalia."

"Can't the Temporary Government help?" It was not that He Yuzhu was unwilling to help, but there were too many people, and if even one person suffered a mishap, it would be very troublesome.

Deputy Minister Sun sighed and said: "The Deputy Prime Minister over there said it's not that they lack the ability, but that they cannot afford to provoke the forces behind it."

"What kind of force is behind it exactly?"

Deputy Minister Sun said in a low voice: "He didn't say... but there is a high probability that M Country is involved."

After hearing this, He Yuzhu couldn't help but smile: "Since M Country is involved, it gets a bit interesting. I will head over there; please send me the detailed address."
