Chapter 767: Night Operation

~7 min read 1,386 words

In the first-floor duty room, two security personnel who had just lain down were startled awake by the sound of the door opening.

The two of them groggily grabbed their guns and rubbed their eyes as they walked toward the door, not yet fully awake.

Just as they poked their heads out to look, a black shadow darted out silently from behind the flower bushes.

The two raised their guns instinctively, but before they could pull the triggers, they felt an irresistible force suddenly wrap around their entire bodies—the next second, the two vanished into thin air.

After He Yuzhu took the two into his space, he did not stop his pace and ran directly to leap onto the second floor of the villa.

He knew that the master bedroom of this villa was the one right in the middle of the second floor.

Hopkins, after all, was a backbone of the CIA-affiliated SAC assassination team and was also startled awake by the sound of the door opening.

He sat up shirtless; in the dim light, his build was as sturdy as a brown bear.

Sensing that someone had come up to the second floor, he reached out to feel under his pillow, but for some reason, the pistol hidden under the pillow had vanished.

Catching a glimpse of He Yuzhu's figure, he lunged forward fiercely.

He Yuzhu could not be bothered to tangle with him; with a thought, he directly took the man into his space.

The villa returned to complete silence, and He Yuzhu began to clear the scene.

He activated Scanning, and the first thing he detected was a giant safe embedded in the wall.

With a slight shift of his mind, the safe door was taken away by the space; the items inside were quite abundant, containing not only a large amount of US dollars and Hong Kong Dollars, but also gold and several Passports.

He Yuzhu chuckled and muttered to himself, "Didn't come here for nothing."

He then took everything into the space.

Next, he checked the villa's structure through Scanning and discovered there was a huge basement underground.

He smiled and walked down the stairs.

The area of this basement was astonishing, practically a warehouse, piled full of various firearms and Explosives, as well as multiple radios.

He opened a few more large wooden crates and found them full of communication equipment and miniature photographic gear used by spies; a rough count showed there were dozens of sets.

He Yuzhu understood in his heart—this time, he had truly caught a big fish.

He no longer delayed, taking all useful items in the villa into his space, then took Explosives from the space and placed them at key locations in several rooms, subsequently setting up trigger devices at the door so that as soon as someone pushed the door to enter, everything would detonate.

After finishing all this, He Yuzhu walked quickly down the mountain.

Moonlight spilled onto the sea, shattering into a sheet of silvery light.

He arrived at the seaside, released a patrol boat from his space, and drove the boat toward a deserted island.

Not long after landing on the island, the sky began to brighten.

He Yuzhu felt hungry, took out the flatbread he had made from the space, took out a braised pork knuckle, tore it open, tucked it into the bread, and began to eat. After finishing, he took out a thermos to drink some water.

Once full and satisfied, he finally released Hopkins.

As soon as Hopkins woke up, he scanned his surroundings rapidly, discovered he was on a deserted island, felt a shock in his heart, and immediately looked at He Yuzhu sitting beside him.

He Yuzhu looked at him and smiled, asking in fluent English, "You are Hopkins, right?"

Hopkins shook his head: "I am not, I am just a wine merchant, why did you kidnap me?"

He Yuzhu sighed lightly: "Lin Qingjie has already told me everything, stop pretending."

Hopkins looked He Yuzhu over carefully; at this moment, the other party was not wearing makeup, and his features were clearly recognizable: "You are the person in charge of that chip factory?"

He Yuzhu laughed: "My name is He Yuzhu. You have opposed me time and again, and never won once, yet you still keep coming one after another; is it interesting? Tell me everything you know, otherwise my temper isn't very good, and my methods are a bit ruthless; I'm afraid you won't be able to hold up."

Hopkins sneered: "Even if you kill me, there will still be people coming to trouble you."

"Good, well said!"

As He Yuzhu's words fell, he directly pressed his head into the seawater.

After being tossed about several times, Hopkins finally could not hold on and honestly confessed all the secrets of the SAC organization, as well as all his contacts in Hong Kong.

He Yuzhu did not expect that the other side still had over thirty people to deal with him.

"Sorry, Mr. Hopkins, you cannot stay alive anymore." He Yuzhu raised his hand and twisted, directly snapping his neck.

On the other side, Si Jiu Cheng.

After He Yushui and her group were taken into the Police station, the officer saw it was no big deal and let He Yushui find someone to bail them out.

She thought of the retired Tian Dan immediately and made a phone call right then, calling Tian Dan over.

Tian Dan arrived in a hurry, saw that He Yushui and the others all had injuries, and asked anxiously: "Did you get into a group fight with someone?"

He Yushui said with some embarrassment: "That man surnamed Zhou is too arrogant, forcing my friend from the Literary and Art Troupe to sleep with him; I went up to mediate, but was scolded by him instead."

Tian Dan nodded: "It's fine, I know the station chief here, I'll go ask about the situation."

Just then, two Police officers walked in escorting a young man.

Not long after, Tian Dan came out from inside and lowered her voice: "Chief Li said that man is from Cheng Shao's side, he really isn't a good thing. You found the right person in me, otherwise you wouldn't have been able to leave today."

As Tian Dan was leading He Yushui out, Chief Li trotted after them: "Director Tian, I'll play host another day and invite you to dinner."

Tian Dan waved her hand: "Don't be polite, I've troubled you this time."

"How can you say that, without you, I would still just be a beat cop!" Chief Li said respectfully.

As the group walked out of the Police station, Tian Dan cautioned: "Yushui, the reason that man surnamed Zhou is so arrogant is because he is helping Young Master Cheng handle demolition matters. You should have less to do with him in the future."

He Yushui nodded, "When my brother comes back, I must make him teach that man a good lesson."

Tian Dan said: "Your brother went out to handle business, don't stir up trouble recently."

He Yushui nodded obediently: "Understood."

Tian Dan waved to bid her farewell.

Liu Guangfu was also bailed out together; he leaned toward He Yushui: "Sister Yushui, thank you."

He Yushui glared at him: "How old are you, still bragging everywhere. Is Chen Xiaolin your girlfriend? Showing off blindly! I asked, and she doesn't acknowledge it at all."

Liu Guangfu gave a sheepish smile: "Sorry, it was my own wishful thinking."

He Yushui waved her hand: "Hurry back."

Liu Guangfu returned to the bar, said goodbye to Cui Yongli, drove his brand-new Jeep home, and told Liu Guangtian everything exactly as it happened.

Liu Guangtian slapped the table: "Liu Guangfu, if you hadn't run into He Yushui today, you would probably have been beaten to a cripple; look at the injuries on your face!"

Liu Guangfu cursed: "Brother, that brat Zhou Bingshan is too fucking wild; can you vent this anger for me?"

Liu Guangtian shook his head: "Guangfu, for people we can't afford to offend, we should just stay away. Also, hurry up and find a matchmaker, marry any girl, and stop thinking about Chen Xiaolin."

"Got it!" Liu Guangfu agreed with Liu Guangtian's advice out loud, but a bold idea sprouted in his heart.
