Chapter 773: Framing Others
Two days later, He Yuzhu met Nina at Liu Rusi's home in Shichahai.
Counting it up, the two hadn't seen each other for nearly twenty years.
Nina was no longer young, and that breathtakingly beautiful face also bore the marks of time, though fortunately, she had kept her figure in fairly good shape.
He Yuzhu recognized her at a glance.
Having stayed in Huaxia for so many years, Nina's Chinese was already very fluent.
She pointed at He Yuzhu, her face full of disbelief: "Little He, what kind of immortal pill did you eat? How is it that after so many years, you're still the same?"
Liu Rusi shook her head with a smile, her tone carrying a hint of helplessness: "You don't know, I don't even dare to go out with her anymore. When we walk together, people think we're mother and son!"
"It's not that exaggerated!" He Yuzhu shook his head.
Nina came up and gave He Yuzhu a big hug.
"Little He, we must have... it's been nearly twenty years, right? How do you maintain yourself?"
He Yuzhu grinned: "That's because I don't take anything to heart. Happiness keeps one young."
The three of them exchanged a few more pleasantries before Liu Rusi explained this mission.
After hearing it, Nina didn't hesitate at all and nodded on the spot: "Those M Country people are too bullying. This time, we'll give them a taste of their own medicine."
When she said this, the murderous look in her eyes returned.
The three of them spent two days starting to work out a detailed combat plan.
He Yuzhu and Nina prepared for a few more days, then set off.
The moment she stepped onto Soviet Union soil, Nina still felt a bit tense inside.
He Yuzhu smiled and comforted her: "You don't need to worry, just treat it like we're traveling. You just need to be a good translator and tour guide for me."
Only then did Nina relax.
He Yuzhu added: "However, before I enter West Germany, I need to get a large batch of high-explosive Explosives."
Nina took out a pen and measured repeatedly on the map, finally saying: "There are heavy troops stationed near Vilnius in Poland, and it's a must-pass route for us. You can replenish them there."
He Yuzhu smiled.
The two stayed in Vilnius for two nights; He Yuzhu snuck directly into the Military Camp and obtained a large amount of Explosive.
I have to say, having Nina by his side was truly too convenient.
Although the roads He Yuzhu and Nina took were all military restricted zones, relying on their skills in disguising and seizing, they basically didn't run into any big trouble.
The two didn't deliberately rush on the way, arranging their time quite well, coming over as if they were on a trip.
Ten days after departing from Si Jiu Cheng, the two finally arrived at the border between the Soviet Union and Poland.
At this time, although the Soviet Army had a Garrison in Poland, border control between the two countries was extremely strict; ordinary people were not allowed to move about freely, and only a few military and political personnel could pass through.
However, this couldn't stump He Yuzhu. He directly hijacked a military vehicle and drove into Poland.
He did this to leave some clues—his goal wasn't simply to blow up the M Country military base in West Germany, but to make people think it was the KGB who did it.
After entering Poland, He Yuzhu didn't rush to leave; he first detoured to Warsaw and even played there for two days before driving into Czechoslovakia.
Upon arriving in Czechoslovakia, He Yuzhu directly snatched a military vehicle.
For the next few days, they slept during the day and traveled at night, heading west all the way.
Two days later, they entered the hinterland of southern West Germany. Once there, He Yuzhu dumped the snatched car and got a Mercedes.
He and Nina drove this stolen Mercedes, heading north all the way.
Tomorrow is Christmas.
At dusk, the two arrived at their destination—Armstein Air Force Base.
He Yuzhu parked the Mercedes in a patch of woods, took an aluminum lunch box out of his backpack, and opened it; inside were warm dumplings.
"We don't have turkey here, so just make do with some dumplings."
Nina pinched a dumpling with her fingers and put it into her mouth: "This trip has been too blissful, being able to eat lamb-filling dumplings every day."
He Yuzhu smiled: "To think that you, a Russian, actually like this."
"Our country has dumplings too, just made differently. But I think your country's dumplings are tastier."
He Yuzhu said: "Actually, my favorite is pork and cabbage filling."
Nina stopped after eating ten, saying: "This air force base is too big; can you go in alone?"
He Yuzhu closed the lunch box and said confidently: "No problem. You wait for me in the car, and remember to throw a few cigarette butts in the car. We don't want this car anymore."
Nina nodded: "Alright. Be careful."
He Yuzhu got out of the car, hunched over, and slowly crept toward the base.
When he was close to the base, he flashed into his space and painted himself a standard Soviet face.
Coming out of the space, he turned on Scanning and wandered around the base.
Very quickly, he discovered the location of the sewer.
Being older, he wouldn't take risks for things that could be solved with money.
He Yuzhu crawled into the sewer and soon reached the entrance to the base.
However, the part of the sewer entering the base was blocked by steel bars as thick as an arm.
He Yuzhu paid the system a tunneling fee of five hundred kilograms of gold, and the system directly opened a path, quickly digging the hole to beneath a large aviation ammunition depot.
Once He Yuzhu got inside, he was stunned. He had never seen such a large ammunition depot; the various aviation bombs and missiles inside almost filled the entire warehouse. This must be decades of stock.
He Yuzhu collected the most advanced laser-guided missiles into his space, intending to bring them back for Liu Xiaohua to study.
As for those worthless ordinary bombs, he gathered them together and placed the Timed Bomb he had made at the core position to detonate the stock.
After coming out of this ammunition depot, he snuck off to other ammunition depots, oil depots, and supply warehouses.
He had one principle: take away the good things that could be sold or modified, and destroy anything that could bring him trouble.
After finishing with the ammunition depots and warehouses, he went to the tarmac.
He Yuzhu collected all the aircraft in the hangar that he could, especially those newly equipped F16s.
As for those parked on the tarmac, because there were soldiers patrolling, he placed a Timed Bomb at the landing gear of each one.
It happened to be Christmas, so there were few people patrolling the airport.
This gave He Yuzhu a great opportunity; he planted bombs on almost all the aircraft.
Nina grew more and more anxious as she waited in the car.
She thought to herself, had something happened to him? Why hadn't he returned after nearly six hours?
By the time He Yuzhu returned from the sewer, he had already collected sixteen F16s into his space; as for those F4 Phantoms, A10 Attack Aircraft, and C130 Transport Aircraft, he had basically planted bombs on all of them.
He Yuzhu slipped into his space, took a quick shower, changed his clothes, and only then returned to Nina's side.
Nina said anxiously, "You were gone for so long, I thought something had happened to you."
He Yuzhu sighed, "There are too many things in this base; I can't bear to blow it all up." After saying this, the corners of his mouth curled up slightly.
Inside the base, the soldiers were still patrolling in circles, completely unaware that the Grim Reaper was already walking toward them.
He Yuzhu took Nina to another road where a military vehicle was parked, which He Yuzhu had prepared just moments before.
He immediately got into the car, slammed on the accelerator, and sped off into the distance.
They had traveled less than five kilometers.
"Boom!"
A loud explosion tore through the cold night of West Germany.
The first thing to explode was the central ammunition depot.
Flames shot into the sky, and the massive shockwave tore the surrounding buildings into fragments, with heat waves and debris sweeping out in all directions.
Immediately after, a second, third, and fourth sound followed... explosions rang out one after another, and the entire base was like a lit powder keg, shaking the earth with its blasts.
The aircraft on the tarmac also began to be blown into the sky one after another.
Debris fell like scattered flowers.
He Yuzhu and Nina stopped the car, stepped out, and gazed at the sea of fire, neither of them speaking.
After a long while, Nina said softly, "Little He, we succeeded."
"Merry Christmas to you!" He Yuzhu smiled, then immediately got back into the car and drove off into the darkness.
