Chapter 87: Exciting! With Yu Li in the kitchen

Yu Li followed Chen Tian home and was slightly stunned to see Lou Xiaoe there too.

Chen Tian told Yu Li what Sha Zhu had done.

"I didn't expect Sha Zhu to be such a person." Yu Li said angrily.

Usually, Sha Zhu relied on being tall and strong to start fights in the Sihe Academy at the slightest disagreement, and Yan Jiecheng had also been beaten quite a few times.

Yu Li didn't expect Sha Zhu to be so insidious.

Seeing Chen Tian handle Sha Zhu so easily, Yu Li admired Chen Tian even more.

If it were Yan Jiecheng, he would have been played to death by Sha Zhu long ago.

"Sister Lou Xiaoe, you sit for a while, eat some melon seeds, the two of us will just cook."

Lou Xiaoe was a bit embarrassed; she wanted to help, but she couldn't cook and would only be a hindrance.

In the kitchen, Chen Tian and Yu Li were busy.

"Sister Yu Li, sorry, having to trouble you to cook so late." Chen Tian took out the soft-shelled turtle rewarded by the treasure chest and let Yu Li clean it.

"It's fine, didn't we agree that I would help you with housework? Cooking counts too." Yu Li's eyes widened; she had never seen such a large soft-shelled turtle.

Half an hour ago, their family had just finished dinner.

Yu Li wasn't full.

With 7 people in the family, the daily amount was just that much; each person getting a bowl of corn porridge was barely enough, plus one steamed bun.

Yu Li was never full and didn't dare to say it in front of Yan Bugui.

Complaining to Yan Jiecheng, Yan Jiecheng was useless and was always shut down by Yan Bugui.

"Want to eat more? Just pay for food."

Even his own son had to pay for food; no wonder later on, none of his children were willing to support Yan Bugui in his old age.

Yu Li liked coming to Chen Tian's house. ===== CHAPTER 88 =====
