Chapter 1236: Free-range Eggs

Nanluoguxiang

After dinner, Cao Weiguo is playing with his child using a rattle-drum.

Xu Damao walks in with a bag of eggs, smiling.

"Weiguo, Brother can ask you for a favor, right?"

Cao Weiguo hands the rattle-drum to his sister-in-law and then invites Xu Damao into the study.

"What is it, Brother Damao?"

Xu Damao rubs his hands and laughs: "Heh, it's like this. You see, there have been quite a few vacancies for cadre positions in the rolling mill recently. I have been diligent and conscientious in the factory, working hard without complaint. Do you think you could take this opportunity to help your brother move up a bit? I also want to advance, and I also want to serve the workmates just like you."

Seeing Cao Weiguo not responding, Xu Damao quickly continues: "I don't ask to advance too much; just being a Deputy Director like Second Uncle would be fine."

Cao Weiguo: "Who told you Second Uncle is going to be a Deputy Director?"

Xu Damao: "Second Uncle said so himself. Weiguo, our relationship is much closer than with Liu Haizhong. You can't help him and not help me."

Liu Haizhong is truly mud that can't be plastered onto a wall!

A dog's stomach can't hold two taels of oil!

He's spilling the beans before anything is even settled.

Just because Liu Haizhong was showing off in the courtyard, Xu Damao got jealous after hearing it.

He didn't even finish his dinner before running over with eggs to pull strings, hoping Cao Weiguo would help him get an official position.

But Cao Weiguo has always been wary of Xu Damao.

Xu Damao is different from Sha Zhuzhu.

Sha Zhuzhu is reckless, but Xu Damao is a true villain. ===== CHAPTER 1238 =====

Shazhu is a reckless brute, while Xu Damao is a true villain.
