Chapter 480

Cheng Xin watched Cao Weiguo's back gradually fade away.

She didn't lower her head to go home until he was out of sight.

After riding away from Dongli Village for a long distance,

in a place where there was no one around, Cao Weiguo observed cautiously for a long time.

After confirming that there was really no one around, he entered the beautiful farm with his bike.

Throwing the bicycle aside, Cao Weiguo couldn't wait to take out the box cannon.

Imitating the scenes in TV dramas, he excitedly loaded the shiny bullets.

Although the box cannon was old, because it was wrapped in oil paper,

it didn't look shabby even now, still emitting a cold, chilly light.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

After fiddling with it for more than ten minutes, the long-sealed box cannon roared again.

Holding the usable box cannon, Cao Weiguo felt the blood in his body heating up.

He would go back and look for the "Militia Training Manual"; since he had the gear, he had to practice.

Although he had martial arts skills, Cao Weiguo had self-awareness.

No matter how fast a fist is, it's not faster than a bullet.

Looking at the box cannon with the inscription in his hand, Cao Weiguo liked it more the more he looked at it.

As for the production of firearms in the old era, Hanyang Factory was naturally the boss.

From the perspective of collection value, these two box cannons might not be as good as other antiques.

But in terms of how much he liked them, these two box cannons far exceeded other antiques.

How many men don't like weapons, just like women like flowers!

A man's nature carries a desire for conquest.

And weapons represent power and authority!

They are somewhat helpful for conquest, which just happens to fit the desires in a man's heart.

The love for weapons stems from a man's nature.

Compared to women, men are naturally combative and like to seek wildness, excitement, and a sense of conquest.

And weapons just happen to satisfy this nature of theirs.

Just like in real life, even very young boys,

they will like toys shaped like weapons, not exquisite and cute cloth dolls.
