Chapter 526

This night

Cao Weiguo and Qin Huairu had a secret meeting in the woods.

Yu Li followed them and couldn't sleep all night.

Xu Damao had a thrilling time.

Tonight, Xu Damao came to Cuijiazhuang to show a movie.

Amidst the flattery and fawning of the village head and village cadres, Xu Damao became even more arrogant.

In this era, being a projectionist was a lucrative job, after all, the projectionist controlled the projector.

Enjoying the flattery of the people, Xu Damao felt that he was soaring to the sky.

It was rare for the villagers to watch a movie, and every time they did, they were as happy as if it were the New Year.

Villagers from nearby villages would walk over to watch even if they didn't have time to eat.

Every time there was a movie, it was packed with people.

The movie started amidst the villagers' anticipation; the movie shown was "Chicken Feather Letter."

The screen was surrounded by people, and some villagers even climbed trees, walls, and haystacks.

Haiwa accepted the urgent task from the militia captain (his father) to deliver a chicken feather letter.

Holding a shepherd's whip and driving the flock of sheep, he bravely embarked on his journey.

As soon as he entered the valley, a group of Japanese devils came toward him.

In order to avoid the enemy's search and ensure the chicken feather letter was safely delivered to the Eighth Route Army leader.

Haiwa tied the chicken feather letter under the tail of a sheep.

Seeing Haiwa pass a hurdle like this, the villagers cheered and applauded excitedly.

The children were even happier, jumping and bouncing, regarding Haiwa as an idol and role model.

After the movie ended, the village head and village cadres warmly entertained Xu Damao.

After a meal and drinks, Xu Damao's face was beet red.

The village head personally sent Xu Damao to a villager's house to spend the night.

This family only had an old man, who was old and had high seniority.

He was the village head's second uncle, and the family had few people and many empty rooms.

That's why the village head arranged for Xu Damao to stay here.

The old man was old, and his eyesight was poor.

He didn't have the energy to take much care of Xu Damao.

After the village head left, the old man also went back to his room to sleep.

In the middle of the night, Xu Damao got some energy.

He slipped out on tiptoe and came to the haystack outside the village.

Before showing the movie, he had hooked up with a young widow.

That young widow had braided hair, was young, beautiful, and had a good figure.

Xu Damao had status and was generous with his money.

He didn't spend much effort hooking up with the young widow.

When they met at the agreed place, the young widow had been waiting for a long time.

As soon as they met, they were like dry wood meeting a raging fire.

After a burst of passion, Xu Damao was dumbfounded.

Two big, tall men suddenly came to the haystack.

"Beast!"

"You dare to bully my sister-in-law!"

"Beat him!"

The two men shouted and beat him up first.

In the dead of night, it was pitch black.

Under the bright moonlight, Xu Damao was beaten until he rolled on the ground.

The young widow was dressing herself unhurriedly on the side.

After a violent beating, Xu Damao was dragged to the cowshed.

These two men knew how to measure their strength, hitting only his buttocks, thighs, and arms.

His body was covered in blue and purple bruises, but no scars could be seen on his face.
