Chapter 644: The Little Wind Blows

Red Star Rolling Mill

The autumn wind is crisp, the singing is passionate.

Workers are diligently adding bricks and tiles to build the great motherland.

Because the food has been good for the past two days, the workers' spirits are exceptionally full.

They are full of energy when working, which has significantly accelerated production progress.

However, amidst this flourishing production and construction, the leadership has quietly changed.

Higher-level leaders issued documents, and personnel adjustments at the Rolling Mill unfolded in silence.

Section Chief Jiang had reminded Cao Weiguo, and Deputy Factory Director Li had also talked to Cao Weiguo.

Cao Weiguo had already stated his position: firmly serve the people, obey organizational arrangements, and work diligently.

After the talk, Cao Weiguo continued to work as usual.

The staff canteen also did what it was supposed to do.

Only privately, he gave a few instructions to Li Dong, Ma Liang, Chu Jinshui, and his apprentices.

Telling them to speak less and do less during this period, and not to ask about or touch anything.

After eating at noon, Deputy Factory Director Li held a study meeting.

In name it was study, in reality it was to exclude dissidents.

After a speech that felt like a spring breeze, seven section-level cadres were adjusted to new positions.

Factory Director Yang's confidants were basically transferred away from important positions, moving one step closer to becoming a commander without troops.

After the meeting, the staff canteen had an additional deputy director.

This deputy director was a section chief adjusted from the Finance Department.

This was a female comrade named Zhao Meihong, a water-spirited and beautiful young woman.

A pair of peach-blossom eyes full of electricity, making young men like Liu Limin and Li Fei afraid to look her in the eye.

Cao Weiguo was also stunned when he first saw Zhao Meihong.

Although he had known the news in advance and had seen Zhao Meihong's information. ===== CHAPTER 646 =====
