Chapter 1
Pirate World, "Holy Land" Mary Geoise.
In a dark, sunless dungeon, Chu Yang listened to the wails coming from outside his cell, his mood exceptionally heavy.
Having transmigrated to this world less than a month ago, Chu Yang, now in the form of a youth, had been abducted by human traffickers to the Sabaody Archipelago, then chosen by the Celestial Dragons to become a slave.
Damn it, what rotten luck.
Everyone else gets a system when they transmigrate, eating well and living large, but he was about to have the "Hoof of the Soaring Dragon" branded onto his body.
I suppose this counts as leaving behind a local specialty.
The smell of burning flesh in the air made Chu Yang extremely nervous; even though the Chu Yang from before his transmigration had spent years struggling in society, he still couldn't remain calm.
In the cell next to Chu Yang's were three girls of similar age to him; compared to Chu Yang, they were much calmer, looking as if they were used to this.
The three sisters had completely different hair colors.
The one with the largest build had green hair, and the tall, slender one had brown hair.
The girl with the most petite figure, yet the strongest presence—clearly the big sister—had black hair.
"Kid, you're new, right? Remember, if you get taken out by them later, no matter what happens, you must hold it in. Don't scream, or you'll annoy those guys, and you'll end up in a miserable state!"
Among the three girls, the relatively petite black-haired girl spoke with a serious expression, warning Chu Yang. Chu Yang nodded to signal he accepted her goodwill.
The girl's ice-cold, serious expression softened slightly.
As the wailing outside gradually grew weaker.
The originally gloomy and terrifying atmosphere eased quite a bit, and the girls began to chat with Chu Yang.
"Kid, what's your name?"
"My name is Chu Yang. Could you please stop calling me 'kid'? You don't look much older than me!"
"Chu Yang? What a strange name, it's really a mouthful. My name is Boa Hancock. You can call me Big Sister Hancock, kid!"
Hancock emphasized "kid" once again, seemingly trying to annoy Chu Yang on purpose, but Chu Yang had no heart to argue with her about it.
Hancock?! The Pirate Empress? Looking at the young Empress still a slave in Mary Geoise, Chu Yang understood the timeline he was in: at least 13 years before the official start of the plot. As for the specific year, it would depend on when the "Hero" Fisher Tiger burned down the Holy Land.
With Mary Geoise's defenses, Chu Yang escaping from here would be harder than ascending to heaven.
Thinking of this, Chu Yang's face couldn't help but turn ugly.
This feeling of being at the mercy of others, entrusting one's life and fate entirely to someone else, was truly unbearable.
Just as Chu Yang was planning to extract more information from Hancock, he suddenly heard footsteps approaching from afar.
It was the jailers! They were coming to leave the "Hoof of the Soaring Dragon" brand on Chu Yang.
Hancock's expression also changed, and she hurriedly warned him again: "Chu Yang, you must hold on."
A forced smile appeared on Chu Yang's pale face.
With a "Boom," the cell door was kicked open, and a tall, burly man walked out of the darkness.
The man was dressed in a black uniform, his head covered by a black cloth, looking exactly like an executioner from ancient Western times.
Chu Yang took a deep breath, trying his best not to show a cowardly expression.
Without a word, the jailer picked Chu Yang up like a chick, sneered as he looked him up and down, and then led Chu Yang out of the cell.
Hancock stared fixedly at their retreating backs; she didn't want this boy who had just arrived to meet with an accident.
Over the years, many slaves had been tortured to death because of the jailers' "whims."
Most of them were ordinary humans like Chu Yang.
Because other races were relatively precious to the Celestial Dragons, if one went missing, the jailers would receive severe punishment. In a state of panic, Chu Yang was hung up by a group of jailers, right next to a furnace glowing with sparks, inside of which were red-hot branding irons.
The jailer picked up a branding iron and walked toward him with a ferocious expression.
Chu Yang stared fixedly at the other, like an endangered beast. At this moment, all fear was replaced by anger and hatred.
"I've seen many eyes like yours, and their ends are never any better!" The jailer sneered, raised the branding iron, and pressed the scalding metal fiercely onto Chu Yang's chest.
The burning was only a matter of an instant, but the excruciating pain that followed was indescribable.
As the jailer applied more force, the branding iron sank into Chu Yang's chest. The pain caused Chu Yang to stiffen his body, his whole person trembling.
A will surged from somewhere unknown, preventing Chu Yang from screaming out loud. He kept staring at the jailer, his eyes gradually turning a deep scarlet.
That hysterical madness caused panic to rise in the jailer's heart! The branding iron in his hand loosened, and he subconsciously took a few steps back.
When he came to his senses, he realized that Chu Yang had already fainted.
"Heh, and here I thought he was tough; turns out he fainted so easily!"
While the jailer was mocking him, Chu Yang's soul arrived at a mysterious palace.
The palace was majestic and grand, but looking closely, there were many damaged and weathered areas, and a sense of historical weight rushed toward him.
Deep inside the palace stood many thrones; at a glance... they were dense and numerous.
The vast majority of the thrones were incomplete.
Only the 12 thrones closest to Chu Yang were intact.
The two thrones in the very center flickered with a terrifying red light, like blood spreading.
A figure was sitting on one of the thrones, and that person seemed to see Chu Yang as well, hurriedly standing up.
In the hazy mist, both saw each other's faces clearly, both were stunned, and then shocked! The two looked exactly the same! As the similar pair stared at each other, a special feeling filled their bodies. An incomparable sense of intimacy made them realize they were the same person—they were both Chu Yang! Immediately after, a segment of memory that didn't belong to them surfaced in both their minds.
Clearly, this extra memory belonged to the other.
"I didn't expect another me to have transmigrated to a different world..."
"Our souls seem to have encountered some accident during the transmigration, splitting into many parts..."
"And this palace seems to be our shared soul space."
After sharing memories, the two Chu Yangs began to briefly deduce the strange things happening to them.
The Chu Yang from the Pirate World looked at the other Chu Yang and exclaimed: "I didn't expect you to have gone to the Naruto world..."
The Naruto-world Chu Yang smiled bitterly: "It's just that the time of transmigration is fatal; I arrived many years early, temporarily losing the advantage of knowing the plot."
The Pirate-world Chu Yang also sighed and said: "Me too, I arrived 13 years early, and now I'm trapped in Mary Geoise as a slave."
"Then you're much more miserable than me; at least I didn't end up as a slave." The Naruto Chu Yang teased: "It's just that I arrived more than 13 years early."
The Pirate Chu Yang asked curiously: "Then how many years early did you arrive?"
Although they shared memories, organizing them completely was clearly not something that could be done in a short time.
The Naruto Chu Yang instantly became melancholy and said with a look of wanting to cry: "I'm not sure of the exact time, but at this moment, the ninja villages of various countries haven't been established yet..."
The Pirate Chu Yang gasped and exclaimed: "Good heavens, it's actually the Warring States period!"
The Naruto Chu Yang said solemnly: "In the Naruto world, I also have a name called Qianshou Yang."
