Chapter 91: Mindless and Unhappy

~30 min read 5,858 words

After collecting all the Otsutsuki bloodlines, Chu Yang activated the Flying Thunder God and returned to the Leaf Village.

While gathering blood abroad, the Shadow Clone Jutsu had already built a laboratory ready for official use; Chu Yang sorted the blood of different clans and began extracting bloodline factors from it.

Additionally, when sealing the tailed beasts earlier, Chu Yang also collected their chakra.

He has chakra from the One‑Tail through the Nine‑Tails.

They are now all stored together in the laboratory.

Once the Otsutsuki bloodline extraction succeeds and Chu Yang's Sage Mode becomes the Sage of Six Paths Mode, he can try using Yin‑Yang Release to create a small‑scale Ten‑Tails.

The raw material is the tailed‑beast chakra he secretly hoarded.

If it succeeds.

The next step is to revive the Divine Tree and obtain the Divine Fruit.

As for how to make the Divine Tree bear fruit again, Chu Yang still has to think about it.

Anyway, seizing the energy of the land and civilians is unacceptable.

He doesn't want to become the target of everyone's arrows, standing opposite everyone, especially against Qianshou Zhuan and Qianshou Flying Sword.

He will act only after a concrete feasible plan is in place.

For now, his focus remains on extracting bloodline factors.

With the help of Shadow Clone Jutsu, results will come quickly.

…………

Marvel world.

"This is already the fourth time I've invited you, Mr. Chu Yang."

"Sorry, I'm still a student."

"What's the conflict between working for S. H. I. E. L. D. and being a student?"

"Huh? I thought you were talking about something else…"

Natasha feels she's going crazy; this kind of dialogue happens almost every day.

If Nick Fury hadn't insisted she stay here to monitor Tony and Chu Yang, she would have left long ago.

The kid opposite is stubborn; Natasha tried everything but couldn't get him to agree.

Of course, there's a final move.

Underage viewers prohibited.

But Natasha has a feeling the outcome might cost a lady and sacrifice troops.

After all, a guy mixed in with Tony Stark.

No matter the age, it's most likely not a good thing!

If Chu Yang knows Natasha's thoughts, he'll definitely protest.

"Even if you don't accept the invitation, at least help out; you've taken a lot of advantage from me these days!"

Natasha looks at Chu Yang with grievance.

Those who don't know might think Chu Yang did something to her.

"Clearly it's always you who strikes first; when you lose you say I'm taking advantage of you. You can't have some special fetish, right? Like enjoying being beaten?" Chu Yang says, rolling his eyes speechlessly.

Since the last time Natasha was beaten by him, she comes to spar with him every few days; he ignores her, she then attacks directly and leaves covered in black‑and‑blue bruises.

Chu Yang didn't know that Natasha was mocked by Nick Fury when she got back that day.

Her bruised pride kept her tossing and turning, and eventually she concluded Chu Yang must be a hidden mutant; she wants to expose him to further confirm her suspicion.

Losing to a mutant is easier to accept than losing to an ordinary person.

But unfortunately, Chu Yang doesn't need any extra abilities to beat her to a pulp, so besides proving his own durability, Natasha proves nothing.

Natasha can only take an unconventional route, planning to lure Chu Yang into high‑difficulty missions under a private pretense.

Preferably the kind that looks troublesome at first glance.

Chu Yang isn't a fool; he sees through her intent and ignores her.

He's now only worried about Tony's condition.

Seeing the metal toxin gradually seize his body, Tony, crushed by death pressure, engages in a series of crazy actions.

He not only throws wild parties at home, but also gets into a big fight with his friend Colonel Rod.

While worried, Chu Yang still chooses to be a bystander.

Though this seems a bit heartless.

But without undergoing these struggles, Tony will never become a true Iron Man.

Chu Yang knows Tony will be fine.

Natasha reported Tony's recent abnormal behavior to the higher‑ups.

And his madness finally caught Nick Fury's attention.

Recalling Chu Yang's earlier mention of sincerity, Nick Fury finds Tony and gets straight to the point.

During the conversation, Nick Fury mentions Tony's father—Howard Stark.

He once discovered a new element, but due to the era's technological limits, it remained unfinished.

Now, Tony can locate this element and finish what Howard Stark couldn't.

Back home, Tony retrieves his father's notes and videotape.

He watches them alone in silence.

The tape conveys not only Howard's visions of the future but also his deep paternal love for Tony.

Feeling this, Tony looks at the Stark Expo model left by his father, and a flash of insight finally lets him grasp the new element's configuration.

Elated, Tony goes to the lab and finds Chu Yang already preparing the experimental equipment.

Chu Yang smiled and asked him, "You look so pleased; you must have found a way to deal with metal toxins."

"Oh! Shit!" Tony exclaimed in surprise, "How did you know? No, since when have you known?"

Chu Yang teased, "Since your xx occurrences have become more frequent, it's like you guessed it when you thought there'd be no chance if you didn't act."

Tony's face flushed suddenly, and, angry and embarrassed, he shouted, "Shut up!"

"No problem," Chu Yang shrugged, spreading his hands, "Before you shut up, you still have to tell me what to do."

Tony said, "Build a circular accelerator…"

After speaking, the two exchanged a smile and got busy in the laboratory.

It didn't take long before a new element came into being.

Tony hurriedly placed it into the reactor at his chest.

As a burst of blue light flickered, the bulging veins on Tony's skin gradually eased.

Feeling his body improve, Tony couldn't help but wave excitedly, "Well done!"

At that moment, Agent Phil appeared in the laboratory.

He had come to say farewell to Tony.

He was originally supposed to be the intermediary, handling communication between Tony and S. H. I. E. L. D.

But now—

Phil Coulson told Tony that he had been assigned to New Mexico to carry out another mission.

Tony expressed regret; Phil's demeanor was very amiable, making him pleasant to be with.

After stating his purpose, Phil Coulson showed no sign of leaving; instead, he kept staring at Chu Yang.

"What is it?"

Chu Yang was somewhat bewildered.

"Um, Natasha told me you're willing to go with me to New Mexico."

Phil looked a little embarrassed.

Chu Yang was about to refuse when Tony spoke first, "Is it dangerous?"

Phil quickly raised his hand, "It's not dangerous; something fell from the sky and needs to be dealt with."

"Like a meteor?"

"Yes."

"Then it really isn't dangerous…"

Tony quickly turned his back and whispered to Chu Yang, "Get some of it back for experiments; my new suit needs better material…"

Chu Yang glared at him in irritation.

Tony turned and laughed, "Since there's no real danger, you can take him along, just as a getaway; he's been stuck in the lab too long, which isn't good for his body and mind."

"You're right, Mr. Stark!" Phil Coulson said with a smile.

Chu Yang prepared to stop resisting, treating it as a trip; otherwise Natasha would keep bothering him later.

The next day, Chu Yang and Phil Coulson set out together on the road to New Mexico.

"Just so we're clear, I'm here to travel, not to deal with your messy stuff."

"Of course, but as a favor of friendship, if you're willing to help me when I'm in trouble, I'd be very glad."

"Why do you S. H. I. E. L. D. people all sound the same? Did the same teacher teach you?"

"If you're talking about training consultants, then yes, that's true."

"Sigh… I'm just a student; can you not put so much pressure on me?"

"A student who can hand‑to‑hand defeat senior agents—aside from you, America can't find a second one!" Phil Coulson shrugged.

After arriving in New Mexico, Chu Yang and Phil rode in a Humvee to a desert area.

It was said that not long ago, something strange fell there.

Chu Yang knew the fallen object was Thor's hammer, and that the strongest—and most ridiculous—Thor of the Avengers was involved.

Because of his arrogance, his comrades were put in danger, and he also defied his father, the god‑king Odin.

Odin deemed that Thor then lacked the right to inherit the throne, so he stripped him of his divine power and exiled him to Earth.

Odin also threw the hammer down, placing a spell on it so that only those deemed worthy could lift Thor's hammer and gain the power of Thor.

Quite idealistic.

Chu Yang felt he probably wasn't among the "worthy" kind, so his trip to New Mexico was truly just for tourism.

If he could scavenge some leftovers from Thor's hammer, that would be even better.

When they arrived, Chu Yang saw the crater made by Thor's hammer surrounded by people.

They were locals; at first, everyone was drawn by the massive crater, then they saw Thor's hammer at the bottom.

The first person couldn't lift Thor's hammer.

Naturally, it attracted a second, a third, a fourth person…

As time passed, almost everyone nearby came to play the "challenge game."

"Is there a new activity here called 'Hammer Pull'?" Chu Yang turned to Phil Coulson, teasing.

"Unfortunately, that activity is ending," Phil Coulson said, his head throbbing, and quickly called to have the area cleared.

America has a tricky point: in public areas, the authorities lack the power to expel ordinary citizens.

Unless danger is imminent, officials can only remove people under the pretext of evacuating the crowd.

Thus, before Phil Coulson arrived—or before S. H. I. E. L. D. intervened—the local police had no authority to clear the area.

Soon, a group of men in black suits, together with many police officers, arrived; amid a continuous barrage of shouts, they forcefully escorted the onlookers out of the zone.

Chu Yang looked at Phil Coulson with curiosity.

Phil Coulson laughed, "I told them there were weapons of mass destruction here…"

Chu Yang: "……"

With the idle people gone, Phil Coulson ordered the use of large equipment to prepare moving Thor's Hammer.

The result was obvious.

It was completely ineffective.

In the end they brought a tank to pull, its engine smoking, yet Thor's Hammer remained silently standing at the bottom of the pit.

With no other choice, Phil had to take Chu Yang down to the bottom of the deep pit.

"What do you think this is?" Phil Coulson stepped forward, puzzled, and reached out to touch Thor's Hammer.

"A hammer!" Chu Yang answered bluntly.

"Stop joking, okay?" Phil Coulson said helplessly, "What hammer can't even be moved by a tank?"

"An alien's hammer." Chu Yang replied seriously.

"I know you're here on vacation," Phil sighed, forcing a smile, "but could I, in a private capacity, ask you to use what you learned from Tony to analyze this for me?"

"I'm not kidding!" Chu Yang rolled his eyes, "For something this small to be so heavy that a tank can't move it, how high must its density be?"

"Can you find a material on Earth that meets the requirements?"

Phil Coulson was stunned for a moment, speechless.

Chu Yang walked up to Thor's Hammer, running his hand over the inscriptions on its surface, which were Asgardian magic.

Compared to the hammer's material, he was more interested in those inscriptions.

Phil Coulson dialed again, and the other end was Nick Fury.

"He said it's an alien hammer…"

"An alien hammer? What an interesting answer; maybe he's actually right."

"What do we do now? That thing can't be moved at all; we've tried every method."

"Since it can't be moved, set up a research lab on site and seal off the surrounding area."

"Understood."

A moment later, the barren desert was dotted with cranes, and a flood of construction workers began moving in and out.

With S. H. I. E. L. D.'s manpower and resources, within at most a day a fully equipped research lab would appear here.

During this time, Chu Yang stayed crouched beside Thor's Hammer, pondering the inscriptions, never moving away.

Phil Coulson kept guard beside Chu Yang, allowing no one to disturb him; even the nearby construction noise had to be kept much quieter than elsewhere.

"It would be great if we could contact Hogwarts; I wouldn't have to puzzle this out alone—he's better than me at dealing with these runic symbols."

Decoding the inscriptions for a long time left Chu Yang feeling his brain drained, forcing him to pause and catch his breath.

By then, night had fallen, and the temporary lab had taken shape.

"Want to take a break? You've been staring at this thing all day!" Phil Coulson said worriedly.

"The power of magic is profound; not even a day, sometimes a month won't let you grasp a fraction," Chu Yang stretched lazily and yawned.

"Sorry, I think I misheard something just now?" Phil asked doubtfully, looking at Chu Yang, "Are you talking about magic?"

Chu Yang, seeing nothing to hide, nodded and explained, "Besides its unusual material, the hammer is imbued with magical power, which makes it unusually heavy."

Phil quickly shook his head, "That's not the point; the point is, how did you know the hammer had magic?"

Chu Yang answered matter‑of‑factly, "Obviously, because I understand it."

Phil's gaze was blank, "Which university offers a course like that?"

Chu Yang looked at him with a stare as if he were a fool.

Phil Coulson took a deep breath and said with a smile, "Yang, I know students your age love fantasy novels, so they have some unrealistic fantasies; I was like that when I was young, but…"

Chu Yang smiled faintly, pointed at Phil, and whispered, "Tarantallegra!"

Dance spell! The moment the words left his mouth, Phil's feet began to twitch involuntarily, and he started breakdancing on the spot.

Phil Coulson: "???"

S. H. I. E. L. D. agents passing by stopped in their tracks, staring in amazement at the scene.

"Mr. Coulson, I can't tell—your dancing is that good?"

"Do a Thomas spin, Mr. Coulson."

"Do a…"

The onlooking agents were no longer satisfied with those simple steps and began making requests.

Phil Coulson grew impatient, "Stop it quickly."

Chu Yang lifted the spell.

Phil stopped dancing, hunched over, panting heavily.

If Chu Yang hadn't stopped him, would he have danced himself to death?

Phil couldn't help but feel lingering fear.

"You won't dance to death; when you're too tired to move, the body stops automatically."

Chu Yang seemed to have guessed Coulson's thought.

"I still don't believe it; I know some hypnosis masters can do similar things, this must be hypnosis."

"I already said it's magic."

Phil Coulson stared doubtfully at Chu Yang, trying to find a flaw in his expression, but the other remained composed, not seeming to lie.

Chu Yang cast a levitation spell, making the small stones at his feet float.

Phil stared for two or three seconds, and after confirming it was real, he opened his mouth wide, "Generous crab…"

After a while.

Phil Coulson called Nick Fury again.

Nick Fury, who had already taken several calls from Phil, grew increasingly impatient, "You'd better have something urgent!"

Phil hurriedly said, "That kid is a magician!"

Nick Fury, confused, asked, "Who?"

Phil whispered, "Yang…"

Nick Fury said in surprise, "Shouldn't he be a mutant?"

Phil replied, "I don't know whether he's a mutant, but I'm sure he's a magician; I saw him cast magic with my own eyes."

After a few seconds, Nick Fury said with a headache, "These years I've met mutated people, mutants, aliens, and crazy scientists, and this is the first time I've ever met a magician."

"Things have been getting increasingly unstable lately; the Avengers' plan must be put on the agenda."

Phil Coulson asked, "What should we do about Yang?"

Nick Fury said, "What else can we do? A magician is a magician; after all, they're not much different from mutants. If we can absorb him, just absorb him."

Phil Coulson said helplessly, "Natasha and I have been gently pressing him, but he shows no sign of agreeing; it seems he really doesn't want to join S. H. I. E. L. D."

Nick Fury mused, "Then we shouldn't force it; keep him under surveillance. We're on good terms with Tony Stark now, and he may join the Avengers in the future, so we need to maintain a friendly attitude."

Phil nodded, "Understood."

Just after hanging up, an agent under Phil Coulson's command walked over and said, "Sir Coulson, we found several scientists nearby; they recorded some events from last night. What do you think …"

Phil Coulson decisively said, "Confiscate everything they have; this matter must not be made public!"

The agent nodded, then cautiously reminded, "Your friend is once again standing dazed in front of the hammer; should we tell him to take a break?"

Phil Coulson shook his head, "Leave him alone; let him do whatever he wants."

The next day.

Phil led a team to the location where the scientists were.

These scientists were none other than Thor's girlfriend Jane Foster, her good friend Dr. Eric, and Jane's friend Daisy Louise.

They rescued Thor, who had been banished by the god‑king Odin, and recorded everything from last night.

For safety, Phil forcibly took all their instruments and equipment, including a large number of storage cards. A considerable conflict erupted between the sides.

Unfortunately Thor wasn't here at the moment; otherwise, he would probably have given these S. H. I. E. L. D. agents a good beating.

In the end, Dr. Eric calmed Jane's emotions, preventing further conflict with S. H. I. E. L. D.

Dr. Eric said, "Never get involved with S. H. I. E. L. D.; I have a friend who studies gamma rays, and because he offended them, he's been missing ever since."

What Dr. Eric didn't know was that his friend Dr. Bruce Banner had just caused a huge ruckus in Virginia not long ago.

He never imagined that the green giant on the news was his former friend Banner.

Calming down, Jane also felt that confronting an official organization wouldn't end well, so she gave up and sulked alone.

While searching the town for the whereabouts of Thor's hammer, Thor also received news about the hammer.

In the evening, Thor returned to Jane's laboratory.

The two discussed for a while, then drove to the location of the Deep Pit.

"They look like a gang of robbers, talking about safety issues; in my view, the most unsafe thing in the United States are those guys in black suits!"

On the road, Jane kept complaining about S. H. I. E. L. D.'s actions today; those data are the life's work of her research.

Thor said lightly, "Don't worry; once I get the war hammer back, I'll teach them a lesson and retrieve all your research data."

Jane was amused by this man with mysterious confidence; she didn't find him annoying, but rather a bit cute.

At the same time, she grew curious about Thor's true identity.

He was courteous yet liked to spout nonsense.

When night fell, the two drove to near the Deep Pit and found a massive research facility already erected there, surrounded by temporary structures.

People in black suits came and went, looking very similar to those from earlier in the day.

"Is what you're looking for really inside?" Jane said in shock, "Shall we come back another day?"

Before she could finish, Thor charged out, sensing Thor's hammer was right here! The sky suddenly poured rain.

Patrolling agents spotted Thor sprinting toward them and issued a warning.

Thor paid them no heed, barreling straight through.

Both sides engaged in battle.

In an instant, gunfire erupted.

Because it was night and raining heavily.

The agents' vision was obstructed, preventing their usual precise aim.

Conversely, Thor, even stripped of his divine power, remained a battle‑hardened god of thunder, his combat experience now instinctual.

He burst from the darkness like a tiger entering a flock of sheep; the agents were no match.

In the darkness, a lone figure stood on a raised platform, aiming a bow and arrow at Thor, who was grappling with the agents.

He contacted Phil via earpiece and asked, "Shall we act?"

Phil Coulson said, "No need; he might be our alien friend. Observe him first; if he's not carrying anything suspicious, let him in."

Under Phil's orders, the agents surrounding Thor gradually thinned, "deliberately" giving him a path to the hammer's location.

Thor kept moving, following his sense, and found Thor's hammer; just as he rejoiced, he saw a boy sitting beside the hammer.

The boy stared at the hammer, seeming dazed, muttering words; from so far away, Thor couldn't hear clearly.

Thor thought the boy posed no threat, so he stepped forward to take the hammer, muttering, "Hey, kid, you'd better stay away from me, or you might get struck by lightning later."

The boy suddenly looked up, his voice booming, accompanied by a faint rumble of thunder.

As he waved his hands continuously, Thor's hammer ceased being still; lightning surged, and it floated upward.

Thor stood there, mouth agape.

"Thick‑gift crab!!!"

Thor's hammer floated in midair for a second, then landed, and in that brief moment it dealt Tuor a tremendous shock.

He rubbed his eyes, thinking he must have been seeing things.

Chu Yang touched his chin and fell into thought.

He had just deciphered a short piece of magic that Ao Ding left on Thor's hammer, which is why the war hammer reacted.

But it was only a small fragment, unable to be freely activated.

Chu Yang was about to try again, but Tuor interrupted in time.

"Hehehe, stop!"

"This is my hammer!"

Tuor hurried forward to stop Chu Yang's action and asked, "How did you do it?"

Seeing the other's golden flowing hair and his explosively muscular physique, Chu Yang knew the man before him was the Thunder God Tuor.

"The power of this hammer is limited by magic; I wanted to see if I could unlock it," Chu Yang said honestly.

"This is my hammer; no one can cast magic upon it…"

Tuor suddenly echoed the words his father Ao Ding said when exiling him.

"You have no right to become king!" Tuor's expression darkened, he turned, reached out to grasp Thor's hammer, intending to lift it.

Result…

Thor's hammer seemed to have a force of a thousand pounds; his muscles bulged, yet even with all his strength he could not move it an inch.

He has no right to use Thor's hammer!

Realizing this, Tuor felt like a deflated balloon, lost and despondent.

Rain mixed with mud drenched Tuor entirely, making his appearance utterly disheveled.

He slowly raised his head, about to shout.

"Are you trying to ask why?"

Tuor, startled, turned his head toward Chu Yang, wondering how this mysterious boy could know his thoughts. "I deciphered part of the inscription; it says that anyone qualified may lift this hammer and gain the power of the Thunder God."

"You say this is your war hammer, so you are the Thunder God?"

Chu Yang smiled, "Or rather, you were once the Thunder God?"

Hearing the word "once", Tuor felt very downcast and forced a smile, "Yes, I was once a god."

Chu Yang asked again, "Why did you lose your qualification as a god?"

"I…" recalling his past deeds, Tuor fell silent.

He was reluctant to admit that his father Ao Ding stripped his divinity because he was disappointed by his own arrogance and foolishness.

"I see cowardice on your face; you seem lacking the courage to admit certain facts?"

Chu Yang's words startled Tuor again.

"Alright, that's enough small talk; you trespassed into the research lab and injured so many agents; we have reason to detain you."

Fei Er·Ke Er Sen arrived with a large contingent of soldiers and agents, subduing the unarmed Tuor and locking him up.

He looked at Chu Yang and asked, "Do you really believe he is a god? Such a… fallen god?"

Chu Yang laughed, "He's either not a god or he's insane; pick one?"

Fei Er·Ke Er Sen sighed, rubbing his head, "Both are hard to choose."

"Approach him with some sincerity; he seems straightforward, you might get something out of him," Chu Yang patted Fei Er·Ke Er Sen's shoulder, yawned, and prepared to sleep, exhausted from deciphering the magical inscription.

"Sincerity again?" Fei Er·Ke Er Sen frowned; the term had been appearing frequently within the Shield Agency lately.

A moment later, a figure suddenly appeared in the room where Tuor was detained.

The second son of Divine King Ao Ding.

Tuor's brother.

Luoki.

He is not a biological son, but was found by Ao Ding on the battlefield during a war with the Frost Giants.

Now Luoki knows the whole truth; he believes his father always favored Tuor because of blood ties.

Feeling he has no chance to inherit the throne, Luoki chose to betray Asgard and ally with the Frost Giants.

At that moment, Ao Ding fell into a deep slumber.

Luoki temporarily assumed the throne and ordered that no one may bring Tuor back from Earth.

Yet he himself quietly came to Earth, intending to deceive Tuor.

"Because of your arrogance, Asgard once again went to war with the Frost Giants; your father, now aged, could not bear the blow and has entered eternal slumber."

"Now, I have inherited the throne and signed a ceasefire with Lao Fei, on the condition that you are permanently exiled; from now on you can never return to Asgard."

The news of his father's death dealt a blow to Tuor far greater than his inability to lift Thor's hammer.

Tuor broke down and shed tears.

Luoki turned his back, a faint smile at his lips, then vanished from the room.

The God of Deception's greatest skill is lying.

Simple‑minded Tuor could never have imagined his beloved brother would deceive him in this way.

After a refreshing sleep, Chu Yang felt revitalized and prepared to study Thor's hammer again.

Asgard's magic is unique; by analogy, it gave him a considerable boost to his own magical skill.

Chu Yang felt that if he could fully master the inscription on Thor's hammer, his wandless casting could reach the level of Deng Buli Duo.

Then unleashing the three great unforgivable curses would be no problem.

Halfway there, Chu Yang recalled the dejected Tuor.

So he turned the corner, brewed two cups of coffee, and arrived at the room imprisoning Tuor.

After entering, he found Tuor's mood even more downcast than before.

"Couldn't you lift that hammer and be so down?"

Chu Yang directly removed Tuor's restraints and handed him the coffee in his hand.

"It's unrelated to Mu Qiaonier…" Tuor cradled the coffee, his voice full of sorrow, "My father king passed away because of my selfishness and stupidity!"

A look of understanding flashed in Chu Yang's eyes; it seemed that the little trickster Luojī had been here.

He immediately asked, "There's a lingering scent of magic here; may I ask who has been here?"

Tuor looked up in surprise, "You actually can sense Luojī's power; he is the most formidable spellcaster in all Asgard, aside from my mother!"

"Luojī." Chu Yang raised an eyebrow and smiled, "According to Norse mythology, you should be the Thunder God Tuor, and your father is the legendary god-king Aoding."

Tuor nodded, "Yes."

The room's door opened again.

It was Fei Er·Ke Er Sen.

Seeing Chu Yang here, he said rather surprised, "I thought you'd stay asleep until tomorrow morning."

Chu Yang laughed, "Curiosity woke me up."

Fei Er·Ke Er Sen nodded, "I understand; whether scientist or mage, they are fascinated by knowledge."

"However, I hope you won't again unilaterally release the prisoner's electronic shackles next time."

"My apologies," Chu Yang shrugged, "His current mood needs a hot coffee for comfort."

"His 'father king' Aoding has passed away."

Fei Er·Ke Er Sen scratched his head, "He's not only a god, but also a prince?"

Suddenly, Fei Er·Ke Er Sen felt something off, "Who are you talking about? Aoding? Aoding of Norse mythology?"

Chu Yang nodded.

"Exactly, the one you have bound now is the famed Thunder God Tuor."

Compared with Norse mythology, Americans prefer Greek mythology and have produced a great many related film and TV works.

They like to blend American elements with Greek mythology.

This makes people from other countries mistakenly think Greek mythology is uniquely American.

In this regard, the son of the kimchi nation has learned it quite properly.

Regarding Norse mythology, most people have only heard of it and don't understand; whenever the god-king is mentioned, everyone subconsciously thinks of Zeus rather than Aoding.

Thinking of mythology, Fei Er·Ke Er Sen felt dreamy at that moment, and the next second thought Chu Yang was talking nonsense.

He wasn't even willing to believe Tuor was a god, let alone that he was the Thunder God.

"Luojī just came by."

Chu Yang dropped a bombshell.

"Impossible."

Fei immediately shook his head, "There is surveillance everywhere here."

"Cameras can't block a god's magic."

Chu Yang snickered.

"What he said is true; Luojī just came, and he informed me of my father king's death."

Tuor, still downcast, recounted the whole chain of events.

Fei Er·Ke Er Sen's scalp prickled; the successive pieces of news made his heart tumble like a roller coaster.

"Agent, don't worry; this is most likely false information."

Chu Yang drank the coffee in one gulp, then exhaled a satisfied sigh.

"Impossible!"

Tuor frowned, his expression unfriendly as he looked at Chu Yang, "Luojī wouldn't deceive me with something like this."

Chu Yang's mouth curled up in a sneer, "If it truly were the legendary god-king Aoding, how could he die so easily?"

"Just because he's old and can't bear the pressure?"

"You've only been on Earth for a few days?"

Tuor was momentarily stunned; after thinking it over, he also found it odd—his father king had just exiled him to Earth, how could he have died so quickly? Chu Yang added, "And the idea of signing a peace treaty with the Frost Giant is even more ridiculous."

"The god-king Aoding is dead, the Thunder God Tuor was exiled to Earth, what does Luojī use to intimidate the Frost Giant?"

"If I were a Frost Giant, I'd have already launched a massive invasion of Asgard; why sign a nonsense peace treaty?"

Tuor suddenly realized, and boundless fury surged from his heart as he roared, "Luojī!!!"

Fei Er·Ke Er Sen quickly pulled Chu Yang aside and whispered, "You told me before they were aliens; why are they now gods?"

Chu Yang said, "Is it possible that gods were originally aliens?"

Fei Er·Ke Er Sen choked on the words, "That makes sense!"

Chu Yang teased, "Hurry and make the call; if you're later you'll get scolded again."

"Calling now still gets scolded!" Fei Er·Ke Er Sen, with a slight headache, dialed the phone.

"It's early morning now, Fei!"

Ni Ke·Fu Rui, suppressing his anger, said slowly, "Speak, what surprise awaits me?"

Fei Er·Ke Er Sen cleared his throat and walked toward the doorway.

Tuor stepped in front of Chu Yang, his voice deep, "I must return to Asgard and expose Luojī's lie."

Chu Yang shrugged, "Saying that seems of little use."

Tuor stared at Chu Yang and said, "I just saw it; you can summon the Thunder God's hammer, and it answered your call."

Chu Yang shook his head and said, "What responded to me wasn't Thor's hammer but the magic placed on it; I only recited part of the incantation correctly."

Thor stared with eyes like a bull's and said, "Then recite the rest correctly."

Chu Yang laughed wryly, "Odin's magic works just by saying it right? Is it an AI lock?"

Thor sighed, "Then what to do? I've lost the qualification, can't lift the war hammer, nor summon the Rainbow Bridge."

Chu Yang said, "That's your problem; you could just stay on Earth and live a whole life, that's fine."

After speaking, Chu Yang left the room.

"Wait for me."

Thor hurried after him.

The two arrived at the area where Thor's hammer lay; researchers were still measuring its energy fluctuations.

Because of its unique material, scientists tried many devices but couldn't leave any mark on the hammer.

They therefore abandoned the brute‑force disassembly method.

Even if it were possible now, Fei Er·Ke Er Sen would not permit it.

This damn thing is Thor's hammer; if it gets damaged, it's not an international dispute but a cosmic one.

After Chu Yang arrived, the other staff voluntarily left so as not to disturb him.

This is something Fei Er has emphasized many times.

Thor, with a curious expression, observed how Chu Yang deciphered Asgard's magic.

After watching for a while, he realized a discouraging fact.

He couldn't understand it.

As the muscle type, Thor's brain lagged Loki by 18,000 li.

If not for good genes, he'd probably only be a bodybuilding coach in this life.

"You and Loki are the same kind of person, both very clever; I've never been able to learn these messy spells since childhood."

Thor said with a complex expression, "Actually, handing the throne to Loki isn't impossible; after all, I have no right to lift Thor's hammer."

Chu Yang, while examining the inscription, said, "Since you've been exiled and lost your qualification, isn't it a foregone conclusion that he, Odin's only remaining son, inherits the throne?"

"Then why did he travel all the way to Earth to deceive you? What's his aim?"

Just thinking made Thor feel his CPU overheating, and he groaned, "Can't you just say it straight?"

Chu Yang laughed, "There's only one reason: compared to you, he has even less right to inherit the throne."

"He may not even be Odin's son."

Thor was dumbfounded; his first thought was that the queen had been unfaithful?

Chu Yang ignored him, seizing the time to study the hammer's inscription.

According to the plot, Thor will soon take it away.

Meanwhile, Loki was striking a deal with a Frost Giant.

Years ago, during a war between Asgard and the Frost Giants, Odin seized their clan's prized Ice Casket.

It was also on that battlefield that Odin happened upon a baby Loki and took him in to raise.

Now, Loki intends to use this treasure to trade for an opportunity.

He wants Frost Giant King Laufey to find a chance to kill the sleeping Odin.

Laufey agreed to the deal.

But what he doesn't know is that this is all Loki's scheme.

Loki aims to become Asgard's hero through this!

If the plan succeeds, even if Thor lifts the hammer again, he cannot dislodge Loki, who sits securely on the throne.

Just as Loki thinks everything will go according to his plan, Thor's comrades quietly opened the Rainbow Bridge, preparing to go to Earth to bring Thor back.

He glanced at the opened Rainbow Bridge.

Loki turned and went deep into the palace, unleashing Asgard's ultimate weapon.

"Destroyer Armor! Loki will eradicate everyone blocking his ascent to the throne!"
