Chapter 94: The War and the Final Chapter of Voldemort
Unlike the rough tunnels outside, the stone passage in the Chamber of Secrets was finely polished, with eerie, exquisite basilisk statues lining both sides.
Beneath the statues were flowing pools of water, resembling two moats, trickling slowly.
The air was damp and cold, the exact environment snakes preferred.
Chu Yang walked forward step by step. In the center of the chamber stood a massive statue of a human face; without a doubt, the owner of this face was the famous Salazar Slytherin.
And behind the statue lay the basilisk's lair.
The mechanism for the statue, like the one in the washroom above, required Parseltongue to trigger, so Chu Yang chose a more direct method.
He formed hand seals with both hands.
Chu Yang once again utilized Earth Release.
Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall.
Chu Yang slammed his hands onto the ground, and the floor began to collapse section by section until Salazar Slytherin's statue shattered with a boom.
A dark, gloomy opening was revealed behind the rubble.
Hiss, hiss, hiss~~~ The sound of the basilisk flicking its tongue and slithering reached Chu Yang's ears.
Soon, a colossal creature quietly appeared at the opening.
The basilisk was massive, its girth nearly two meters thick. It coiled up, standing tall, staring down at Chu Yang.
Chu Yang kept his eyes closed, avoiding eye contact.
The basilisk's eyes were like those of the legendary Medusa; looking directly at them meant death, while seeing them indirectly resulted in petrification.
A hint of human-like mockery flashed deep within the basilisk's pupils, and it began to slither slowly toward Chu Yang.
Although Chu Yang's eyes were closed, his Observation Haki was already active, and every movement of the basilisk was within his perception.
The corners of his mouth curled up slightly.
Suddenly!
The ground bulged.
Emerald vines burst through the soil, wrapping around the basilisk's body like iron chains, pinning it in place, unable to move.
The startled and enraged basilisk twisted its body violently, trying to break free from the vines, its roars echoing through the chamber.
Unfortunately...
The vines wrapped around the basilisk did not break; instead, they grew more numerous and tighter.
After a fierce struggle, the basilisk opened its blood-red maw and began to spew venom.
A foul odor immediately filled the air, causing dizziness, and Chu Yang stepped back a few paces.
The venom slowly corroded the vines on the basilisk's body.
Seeing this, Chu Yang smiled. The reason he hadn't killed the basilisk immediately was to let it spew as much venom as possible.
Besides destroying Horcruxes, basilisk venom had many other uses, and Chu Yang wanted to collect a large quantity of it.
After a while, the basilisk sensed something was wrong. No matter how much venom corroded the vines, the next moment, those annoying vines would grow back endlessly.
It stopped spitting venom and used its remaining strength to twist its body frantically.
"Not bad intelligence, what a pity..."
Chu Yang muttered, then increased his chakra output. The vines immediately grew into thick, sturdy trees, pinning the basilisk firmly to the ground. The trees grew larger and larger until they completely swallowed the basilisk's body, bursting through the ceiling of the chamber.
Chu Yang collected most of the venom the basilisk had spewed before dying, while the rest flowed into the chamber's pool.
Chu Yang wasn't sure if the water here circulated back to the school, so he simply destroyed the entire chamber.
The violent tremors even affected the Slytherin dormitory.
Snape, thinking it was an earthquake, hurriedly ordered the students to evacuate to the courtyard.
Halfway there, the tremors stopped, and the group stood in the corridor, looking at each other in confusion.
Snape frowned.
On the other side, Chu Yang had returned to the cabin. Not long after, Dumbledore returned with Sirius, bringing the final Horcrux—Slytherin's locket.
"All the Horcruxes have been collected." Dumbledore smiled with relief, the heavy burden in his heart finally lifted.
"Headmaster Dumbledore, I found this in the Forbidden Forest; perhaps it can affect the Horcruxes."
Chu Yang handed a bottle of basilisk venom to Dumbledore.
Dumbledore picked up the venom, examined it carefully, then pulled an intricate silver vessel from his robes and poured the venom onto it.
The silver vessel melted instantly.
Dumbledore's eyes lit up, and he nodded, saying, "Such potent poison can indeed cause damage to a Horcrux."
Once a Horcrux is damaged to the point of being irreparable, the soul residing within it is completely destroyed.
"Does that mean as long as we solve Harry's problem, all of Voldemort's Horcruxes can be destroyed?" Sirius looked incredulous; even though Dumbledore had told him much at the ancestral home, he still found it hard to believe.
"I also feel like I'm dreaming," Dumbledore said meaningfully. "But I believe everything is arranged by fate..."
As he spoke, Chu Yang felt Dumbledore glance at him.
Dumbledore continued, "In Voldemort's current state, he cannot create new Horcruxes in a short time."
Sirius said, "Then he's no different from an ordinary person, just one life. The question is, how do we kill him again?"
If Voldemort were determined to hide, no one would likely find him; that had been the case for the past decade.
Dumbledore smiled, "What I've done isn't entirely secret. At least some people in the Ministry of Magic should be able to guess my intentions, so Voldemort will receive the news before long."
Dumbledore's implication was that he knew some people in the Ministry were remnants of the Death Eaters.
Chu Yang frowned, "You did this on purpose? Even if it's to lure Voldemort out, this is too dangerous."
"It is indeed dangerous. If not for your help, this might have been the worst decision of my life," Dumbledore said with relief. "But fortunately, everything went smoothly."
Sirius asked, "How many people in the Ministry are actually connected to Voldemort?"
Dumbledore shook his head, "Perhaps only one or two, perhaps..."
Horcruxes were Voldemort's final trump card. Once he was certain all of them were gone, he would definitely become desperate.
Those Death Eaters lurking in the shadows would also become extremely insane.
They might even target all the teachers and students at Hogwarts.
In such a situation, if Dumbledore still had to look after Harry, he would certainly be overwhelmed.
This was why he had sent Harry to the Forbidden Forest from the start.
Dumbledore took a bottle of venom from Chu Yang and returned to the school, dedicating all his energy to improving the spell.
Sirius remained at the cabin.
A week later, the Ministry of Magic suddenly sent people to inspect Hogwarts. They stayed for an entire day, spending the longest time in the Headmaster's office, seemingly looking for something.
After the inspectors left, Dumbledore gathered the teachers, explained the situation, and announced that Hogwarts was in a state of emergency.
Not long after, news of a mass breakout from Azkaban arrived.
"Don't worry, Harry, close your eyes and take a deep breath."
"It might be a bit uncomfortable later, you must endure it and hold on until the ritual is complete."
Harry nervously closed his eyes.
Dumbledore stood opposite him, slowly guiding Harry.
He had completed the improvement of the spell, and today was the day to eliminate the soul fragment of Voldemort.
Sirius, watching from afar, looked even more nervous than Harry.
Hermione and Ron were locked in the cabin by Hagrid, who feared they would run around and disrupt the ritual.
So they could only crowd by the window, staring out desperately.
Ron complained indignantly, "Why is Yang allowed to be outside?"
Hermione said enviously, "Because he passed the O. W. L. exams..."
Ron was confused, "What exams?"
Hermione rolled her eyes and turned away, no longer casting pearls before swine.
In fact, Chu Yang had not only passed the O. W. L. exams but, with Dumbledore's special permission, had also taken and passed a N. E. W. T. exam. However, publicly, Chu Yang only admitted to completing the former to avoid unnecessary trouble.
Dumbledore's spellcasting began quickly. Visible magic gathered into blue ribbons of light, flowing from the tip of Dumbledore's wand.
The flow of magic circled in the air and, as Dumbledore continued to chant the incantation, gradually poured into Harry's body.
Harry's entire body suddenly erupted with blinding light.
Painful groans escaped Harry's lips, followed by continuous muffled grunts.
The process of tearing away the soul fragment was even more painful than Harry had imagined; it was far from the "a bit uncomfortable" Dumbledore had described.
But in his current state, he couldn't complain to Dumbledore, his mouth left with only meaningless interjections.
Painful as it was, the effect was indeed very obvious.
Chu Yang had already seen something like a smoky mass gradually emerging from Harry's body.
That was Voldemort's soul fragment.
Losing its host, the soul fragment would dissipate at an extremely fast speed.
Throughout the process, Harry's own soul was not affected at all; his body just suffered a bit.
Dumbledore held his wand high, his voice suddenly rising, the magic like a pair of large hands, forcefully dragging out Voldemort's soul fragment.
In the blink of an eye, the remaining soul fragment was also pulled out in one go.
The light vanished.
Harry collapsed to the ground, eyes closed, falling into a coma.
Sirius rushed over in a single stride, beginning to check Harry's body.
Fortunately.
Harry's breathing was steady; he looked as if he were just asleep.
Dumbledore wiped the sweat from his forehead.
Suddenly feeling something extra by his feet, he turned his head to find that Chu Yang had brought over a stool.
"Thank you." Dumbledore sat down slowly, panting a few times, then said, "Most Horcruxes have almost zero connection to Voldemort due to time, but the soul fragment on Harry is different."
Chu Yang asked, "Did Voldemort sense what happened here?"
Dumbledore nodded, "He should be here soon. Before that, we must deal with the other Horcruxes."
As he spoke, he placed all the Horcruxes on the ground and poured the basilisk venom onto them.
Sss~~~ The sound of corrosion came, followed by the shrill screams of the Horcruxes. They were like living things, their voices filled with terror.
After the bottle of venom was emptied, the screaming slowly ceased. All the Horcruxes were deformed by the corrosion, leaking a bright red liquid like blood.
Chu Yang waved his wand, and the ground suddenly collapsed.
He buried the Horcruxes, the soil closed up, and everything returned to normal.
"I must go back; Voldemort could arrive at any time," Dumbledore cautioned. "While protecting Harry and the others, protect yourself even more!"
Chu Yang nodded.
Dumbledore performed Apparition, taking Hagrid with him.
Sirius walked over and whispered, "Although Hogwarts is the main battlefield, we need to make some preparations on our side too."
"Do whatever you want, no need to ask me." Chu Yang was noncommittal, returning to sit in front of the tent to read. He didn't care at all about how large an army Voldemort could rally.
Besides Death Eaters, it was nothing more than adding some dark magical creatures, like giants...
Seeing Chu Yang's casual attitude, Sirius said no more and silently set up magical traps in the surroundings.
At dusk, Firenze suddenly appeared, walked up to Chu Yang, and lowered his head, "My people have detected traces of werewolf activity nearby, and the giants and other dark creatures deep in the Forbidden Forest are also stirring. They should all be coming for Harry Potter."
The corners of Chu Yang's mouth curled up slightly, "Mr. Riddle really has a wide circle of friends."
Firenze asked, "Should we strike first?"
Chu Yang shook his head, "No need. Your people would suffer heavy losses. Let them come over and let the War Tree handle it."
"You all hide in ambush. When their attention is drawn by the War Tree, you launch a surprise attack."
"Don't worry about the giants; try to clear out the other dark creatures."
Firenze understood and left with Chu Yang's orders.
Soon, the Centaurs quietly hid in the jungle, waiting for the right moment.
Night fell.
Harry, Hermione, and Ron stayed nervously in the cabin, with Sirius guarding them.
Chu Yang stayed with the unicorns, standing quietly by the lake. Under the moonlight, the calm lake suddenly began to ripple, the waves vibrating and spreading outward in circles.
The tremors grew stronger, and the stones at Chu Yang's feet began to jump.
Following a few roars of unknown meaning, a giant burst out of the forest, staring at Chu Yang from across the lake.
A second one...
A third one...
More and more giants appeared from the darkness, along with many other dark creatures, eyeing Chu Yang and the cabin behind him covetously.
Chu Yang climbed onto the back of a unicorn and yawned; he had been waiting so long he was getting sleepy.
At the same time, the giant tribe launched a charge, followed closely by the other dark creatures.
Boom, boom, boom!!! A sound like a mountain collapsing exploded on the battlefield. The giants stopped in their tracks, looking back, sudden fear appearing in their eyes.
Before them, a towering ancient tree that blocked the sky was slowly standing up.
A single vine hanging from the giant tree was almost as thick as a giant's waist.
These dark creatures were monsters, but the colossus before them was a monster among monsters!
Before the giants could retreat, the War Tree swung its arms violently, thousands of vines sweeping across the battlefield, sending over a dozen giants flying simultaneously.
Hogwarts.
Dumbledore led all the teachers in casting a magical barrier to protect the school.
Outside the barrier, Voldemort and the Death Eaters were watching covetously.
At this moment, Voldemort was possessing Barty Crouch Jr., whose father was Barty Crouch, the Head of the Department of International Magical Cooperation.
During the last operation to clean up the remnants of the Death Eaters, Barty Crouch Jr. was imprisoned at the age of 19.
Old Crouch, who had a chance to become Minister for Magic, was transferred to the Department of International Magical Cooperation, with no hope for the future.
Old Crouch hated this son, but his wife had always worried about him, to the point that her health deteriorated rapidly in a short time.
Before dying, Mrs. Crouch drank Polyjuice Potion, transformed into her son's appearance, and under Old Crouch's operation, swapped her son out of Azkaban.
Shortly after, Mrs. Crouch died in Azkaban in the identity of Crouch Jr.
Crouch Jr. did not gain freedom; his devout faith in Voldemort horrified Old Crouch, so he was kept imprisoned at home.
Until Voldemort inadvertently learned of his news...
Old Crouch was already controlled by Voldemort's Imperius Curse.
He had secretly done many things for him, including the mass breakout from Azkaban.
The Ministry of Magic was also under Voldemort's control.
Even so, Voldemort could not suppress the panic in his heart.
Because he couldn't find a single Horcrux...
The diary, Hufflepuff's cup, Ravenclaw's diadem, the Gaunt ring, Slytherin's locket.
Except for Ravenclaw's diadem, Voldemort had confirmed every other Horcrux.
They were gone! There was only one person in this world who could take all his Horcruxes.
Dumbledore!
Voldemort seized control of Barty Crouch Jr.'s body, walked slowly to the barrier, and reached out to press it; the barrier rippled like water.
Voldemort stared coldly at Hogwarts, which stood atop the cliff, and slowly spat out a few words.
"Attack!"
As soon as he finished speaking, countless spells rained down on the barrier like colorful fireworks.
There were also some Dementors circling above Hogwarts, all helpers Voldemort had traded for with benefits.
Inside the castle, the younger students were led by the older ones to gather in the Great Hall.
Draco Malfoy was shivering in the crowd.
Because he knew his parents were outside, standing with Voldemort.
Lucius Malfoy, who had lost the diary, was almost killed by Voldemort, but he managed to pledge his loyalty in time and became a pawn for him again.
Lucius even wrote to Draco, telling him to be an inside agent at school and to help Voldemort capture Harry Potter at the critical moment.
Young Draco couldn't handle this pressure and had been on the verge of a breakdown during this time.
Fortunately, Harry had gone to the Forbidden Forest, so Draco had no way to help even if he wanted to, and he secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
Dumbledore and some teachers capable of combat gathered in the courtyard outside, maintaining the barrier while discussing how to deal with Voldemort.
Someone suggested asking the Ministry of Magic for help, only to be mocked by Snape.
"The Ministry is a sieve. Who knows how many Death Eaters are hiding inside? Voldemort can appear here so brazenly; how could they not know?"
"Go out and see; there are surely many familiar faces waiting for you."
Snape's words sparked a heated discussion among all the teachers present, and for a time, it was chaotic.
Professor McGonagall interrupted the discussion and said loudly, "Headmaster Dumbledore is still here."
Just one sentence was like a reassurance pill, and the teachers stopped arguing.
Yes.
Dumbledore was still here.
Then, we have the confidence to defeat Voldemort.
Dumbledore smiled at everyone, "Do not fear; magic will guide us forward."
………………………
Forbidden Forest.
The War Tree's violent entrance immediately blocked the flood of the monster coalition's attack.
It was like a reef suddenly rising in a torrent.
The giant tribe charging at the front suffered heavy losses.
Every time the War Tree swept, giants who couldn't dodge in time would collide head-on.
The War Tree was like a millstone, and wherever it went, flesh and blood flew.
Werewolves relied on their agile movements and extraordinary intelligence to dodge the War Tree's attacks and launched counterattacks during the gaps in the attacks.
They climbed rapidly along the roots and vines onto the War Tree's body, biting frantically.
The War Tree twisted its body, trying to shake the werewolves off, but there were too many of them, and even if a few fell, others followed in their footsteps.
The massive size had an unparalleled advantage on the battlefield, but the disadvantages were also extremely obvious.
After the werewolves, spiders and other dark creatures also climbed onto the War Tree's body, biting it together.
The War Tree let out bursts of wailing.
On the ground, only the giant tribe remained; their bloated bodies could not climb onto the War Tree like the other dark creatures.
So, the giants aimed their spears at Chu Yang and the unicorn herd, waving their maces and launching a charge. Chu Yang erupted with dazzling blue light, accompanied by bursts of thunder.
He waved his arm, and a deep blue lightning bolt pulled from the tip of his wand.
This was the result of Chu Yang's long-term research, a new type of spell developed by combining Lightning Release ninjutsu and some game ideas.
Thunder Chain!
After hitting the first giant, the lightning would continuously jump to other giants, causing large-scale damage and accompanying abnormal states like paralysis.
Chu Yang had considered using Steam Explosion, but the power of infinite explosions was too strong; by the time the war ended, he didn't know what the Forbidden Forest would be destroyed into.
At the very least, the lake in front of him wouldn't be saved.
Chu Yang could only dismiss this idea.
With the explosion of brilliant thunder, the giants' offensive momentum was curbed.
The Centaurs, who had been lying in ambush, launched a surprise attack under Firenze's leadership.
The giants who had survived the first round of damage were almost all in a state of paralysis, and facing the Centaurs' charge, they were like a group of lambs waiting to be slaughtered.
The outcome had been destined from the beginning.
At the same time.
The War Tree collapsed under the siege of many dark creatures.
It had attracted most of the firepower, creating an opportunity for the Centaurs.
Chu Yang rode a unicorn and rushed over.
A large number of unicorns followed like a tide.
Unicorns were very strange magical creatures; individuals were very weak.
But if they gathered together, the holy power on them would stack.
The pure white radiance was like heavenly light, dispelling the dark creatures attached to the War Tree.
The werewolves roared in the face of the blinding holy light, and the spiders fled in all directions.
Chu Yang flew to the canopy and channeled life energy into the War Tree.
After a while, the War Tree stood up again and began to slaughter the dark creatures driven away by the unicorn herd.
Sirius, hiding in the cabin, watched this scene in shock.
He finally understood why Chu Yang was so dismissive of the magical traps he had set up.
The war in the Forbidden Forest soon came to an end.
The Centaurs began to clean up the battlefield.
The unicorns didn't like the bloody scene and retreated one after another, disappearing into the Forbidden Forest.
Only one unicorn remained, carrying Chu Yang to the side of the cabin.
"Everything is over, Mr. Black, but before the battlefield is cleaned up, don't let Harry and the others come out."
Sirius pushed open the wooden door, staring at the young man on the unicorn's back.
The young man who had walked out of a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood had no fear on his face, calm and composed to a terrifying degree.
Sirius felt a chill in his heart; even Voldemort at the same age didn't have such a mindset.
"What about Hogwarts?"
"I will handle it, Mr. Black."
"Voldemort is truly finished this time, right?"
"Of course."
The young man's expression and tone were full of absolute confidence.
After solving the enemies in the Forbidden Forest, only Voldemort and his Death Eaters, along with some Dementors, remained.
They would certainly be a bit harder to deal with than dark creatures like giants...
But only a bit...
After the Centaurs finished cleaning up the battlefield, Chu Yang called out, "Firenze!"
Firenze jumped several times and came to Chu Yang's side, bowing, "Willing to serve you, Mr. Chu Yang."
Chu Yang nodded, "Then let's go; it's time to completely end the legend of Voldemort."
The unicorn neighed and then carried Chu Yang toward Hogwarts.
The Centaurs followed closely behind him.
The War Tree walked at the end of the team; one step was ten meters away, and its speed was not slow at all.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione watched Chu Yang's departing back through the window of the cabin.
The two boys were full of admiration.
Ron muttered, "He really looks like a general."
Harry nodded repeatedly.
………………
Voldemort and the Death Eaters were still blocked outside by the barrier.
With Dumbledore presiding over the situation, the barrier was as solid as a rock.
Voldemort was as anxious as an ant on a hot pan.
According to the plan, the dark creatures and werewolves in the Forbidden Forest should have arrived at the Hogwarts battlefield with Harry Potter by now, helping them break the barrier together.
But so much time had passed, and there was still no movement.
Where did they go?
"This group of damn, dirty, low-level monsters, I shouldn't have had any expectations for them!"
"Including those werewolves! Their intelligence has degenerated from humans to the level of monsters!"
Voldemort cursed in anger, urging the Death Eaters to attack with all their might.
In the crowd, Lucius silently observed Voldemort, realizing that the Dark Lord's comeback this time was too hasty.
It was time to find a way out.
He was never a loyal believer of Voldemort, just a sycophant.
Just as Lucius slowly retreated behind the crowd, the ground suddenly shook, and it became more and more intense.
Voldemort was slightly stunned, then showed an expression of ecstasy.
"Hahaha! Our reinforcements are here!"
"We will break through this castle soon!"
"Dumbledore will never stop me!"
The Dark Lord stood at the front, spreading his arms toward the Death Eaters, his expression solemn, like a king.
The Death Eaters knelt on the ground one after another, prostrating devoutly at the Dark Lord's feet.
Lucius was also preparing to kneel, but when he saw the colossus behind the Dark Lord, he stood stiffly in place.
Voldemort lowered his arms and looked at him coldly, "Our Mr. Malfoy doesn't seem to agree with my opinion?"
The Death Eaters turned back, staring at him with the same cold gaze.
But compared to the murderous glares of the Death Eaters and Voldemort, Lucius felt the giant tree man right in front of him was even more terrifying.
Lucius raised his arm, trembling as he pointed behind Voldemort.
Voldemort then noticed the terror on Lucius's face, his heart skipped a beat, and then he slowly turned around.
The Death Eaters also turned toward the direction Lucius was pointing.
"What the hell is that?!!!"
On the other side, the Hogwarts teachers also saw the War Tree and immediately screamed in chaos.
Snape's gaze was somewhat dull.
Even the usually composed Professor McGonagall couldn't help but lose control of her emotions and said, "Where did Voldemort find such a monster? Now the barrier outside probably won't hold."
Professor Flitwick gripped his wand and took a few deep breaths.
Professor Sprout clasped her hands together, closed her eyes, and began to pray devoutly.
Other teachers were screaming in terror and panic, and the entire courtyard was very chaotic.
"Quiet!!!"
Dumbledore's majestic voice sounded, and everyone looked at him.
"That is not an enemy, but a friend."
Dumbledore said excitedly, "Now, open the protective barrier; we are going to start a counterattack!"
The teachers were still stunned, but Hagrid had already pulled out his long-sealed wand from his umbrella and shouted loudly, "I have been waiting for this moment for a long time!"
It was Voldemort who framed him for Moaning Myrtle's death, causing him not only to fail to graduate from Hogwarts smoothly but also to be forbidden from using magic.
The angry Hagrid was the first to rush out.
Professor McGonagall came to her senses and hurriedly gathered the teachers to open the barrier together.
Dumbledore stepped forward, with Snape following behind him.
As soon as the group walked across the corridor bridge, they heard the Centaurs' charge slogan outside.
Firenze took the lead, rushing at the very front.
What he shouted was not protecting Hogwarts or Dumbledore, but...
"For the glory of Mr. Chu Yang!!!"
And Chu Yang, who was riding a unicorn on the side, smacked his lips.
He swore he had never taught Firenze such words.
The fanatical expression on that guy's face was even more like a Death Eater than a Death Eater...
McGonagall and the others who had just walked out of the main entrance of Hogwarts looked at each other.
"Excuse me, what was that centaur saying just now?"
"I seem to have heard Chu Yang's name?"
"Me too."
"If we aren't collectively hallucinating, then what he shouted just now was Yang."
"I have to say, Yang really has a wide circle of friends..."
Soon they saw Chu Yang riding a unicorn walking slowly toward them.
"Merlin's beard! A unicorn is actually carrying a male?!"
"This is the most magical scene I've ever seen in my life!"
Amidst bursts of exclamations, Chu Yang dismounted and bowed slightly to Dumbledore and the teachers.
Dumbledore asked, "What about the Forbidden Forest?"
Chu Yang replied, "Voldemort's reinforcements have all been solved; everyone is fine."
Snape, who knew the inside story, was shocked and unbelievable, turning to look at Dumbledore.
Dumbledore didn't say much, just smiled.
The War Tree began to drive away the Dementors as soon as it entered the field.
The latter could fly, but their height couldn't reach half the height of the tree man.
The Centaurs' charge was fast and urgent.
Before the Death Eaters could react, many people had died under the iron hooves.
In just one round, more than half of the Death Eaters were killed or injured.
The heavily damaged Death Eaters fought back.
But the Centaurs were extremely fast, and the battlefield was very chaotic, so the hit rate of the spells was extremely low.
Voldemort was furious and raised his wand, preparing to do it himself.
A white flash of light struck from not far away, hitting the wand in Voldemort's hand.
Dumbledore walked over slowly, "That's enough, Tom."
Voldemort stared coldly at Dumbledore, feeling extremely unwilling.
If he could truly be reborn and obtain his own body, it would be impossible for Dumbledore to knock his wand away so easily.
Voldemort questioned angrily, "Dumbledore, why do you oppose me time and time again? You yourself are clearly of pure-blood origin; why don't you agree with my pure-blood philosophy?"
Dumbledore looked at his former student and shook his head in disappointment, "Tom, pursuing pure-blood is not a reason for you to impose violence on others at will. Don't deceive yourself anymore; all you want is power."
Voldemort sneered, "Don't judge me with such a sanctimonious attitude; aren't you also immersed in power?"
"Most of the high-level officials in the Ministry of Magic are your students, and magic schools in other countries also respect you, not to mention Hogwarts."
"You yourself are standing in the halo; how can you say others covet power?"
Dumbledore sighed.
"Mr. Tom Riddle, as a former Dark Lord, I am a bit disappointed in the demeanor you showed at the last moment."
"Can't a loser just shut up and die?"
Chu Yang led the unicorn, stepped out of the crowd, and walked toward Voldemort.
Hearing this familiar voice, Voldemort suddenly recalled the memories of being severely damaged twice before.
"It's you?!"
Voldemort retreated a few steps in terror.
Everyone looked at Chu Yang in surprise. Why was Voldemort afraid when he saw him? When Chu Yang walked past Voldemort, Dumbledore and Snape both gripped their wands tightly.
Voldemort was very surprised; Chu Yang didn't stop to talk to him but really passed him by.
Then, a sense of humiliation he had never felt before welled up in his heart.
Voldemort turned around abruptly, eyes wide open, staring fixedly at Chu Yang's back! An orphan from the Muggle world, who just happened to have wizard talent, actually dared to ignore him!
However, Chu Yang didn't care about Voldemort's thoughts at all.
In his heart, the safety of these companions was far more important than the Dark Lord. Who would want to communicate with a short-sighted, manic-depressive lunatic? "No one has ever dared to face me with this attitude!"
Voldemort's hands surged with magic.
In the entire magical world, his non-verbal spellcasting was second only to Dumbledore! Even without a wand, he could cast the Killing Curse!
"Avada Keda..."
Before the spell was finished.
A more dazzling light erupted from behind Voldemort, piercing his body.
It was also the body of "Barty Crouch Jr."
The expression on Voldemort's face suddenly froze, and the pain of soul tearing slowly struck.
Voldemort, whose life was coming to an end, looked at Dumbledore with a sneer, "To get rid of me, you sacrificed Harry Potter. In the days to come, you will be tortured by your conscience every moment."
"Dumbledore, you will become a more pathetic wretch than me..."
Just then, a small figure appeared on the battlefield and said loudly, "I'm not dead!"
Voldemort looked up, his pupils shrinking violently.
Accompanied by Sirius, Harry, Ron, and Hermione returned to the school regardless of the danger.
Although Dumbledore had once told them not to leave the Forbidden Forest, Harry was unwilling to hide.
Sirius respected his thoughts, so he brought him over.
Harry's appearance made Voldemort completely doubt life.
Why wasn't Harry Potter dead? Voldemort was still thinking about this question at the last moment when his soul disappeared.
Without Voldemort's soul possessing him, Barty Crouch Jr.'s consciousness dominated the body again, but he wasn't happy because he understood what this meant.
Barty Crouch Jr. knelt on the ground, letting out a heart-wrenching roar.
To him, Voldemort was both a faith to pursue and like a father.
The Death Eaters sensed Voldemort's disappearance and stood there with dull eyes, as if their souls had been extracted.
The Centaur warriors stopped attacking and gathered around Chu Yang to receive his treatment.
After Voldemort died, the Dementors also left the sky above Hogwarts.
Dumbledore stared at the group of departing Dementors and said in a deep voice, "I never thought the Dementors would join Voldemort's camp."
Professor McGonagall still said with lingering fear, "They are not worth trusting."
Hagrid coughed and said, "You can't generalize like that; some monsters are still very cute, Professor McGonagall."
Professor McGonagall was speechless and couldn't be bothered to deal with Hagrid, the furry-lover.
Most teachers still agreed with Professor McGonagall's view.
After this battle, the Dementors could no longer be trusted by the magical world; it was only a matter of time before they were driven out of Azkaban.
Snape stared blankly at the place where the Dark Lord's soul disappeared.
He never dreamed that everything would go so smoothly.
The day Lily was killed by Voldemort felt like it was yesterday.
"Headmaster Dumbledore is really amazing, solving Voldemort in one go, don't you think? Mr. Black."
"Of course! That's Dumbledore! The greatest wizard in the world!"
Snape took a deep look at Harry, who was celebrating with Sirius, and turned away alone.
After the great battle, Minister for Magic Fudge arrived late with the Aurors.
Fudge looked around, seeing Death Eaters who had surrendered everywhere, as well as Centaur warriors responsible for monitoring their every move.
Fudge rubbed his eyes, feeling somewhat unbelievable. He turned to the Aurors behind him and asked, "If I remember correctly, don't the Centaurs hate wizards?"
The Aurors nodded one after another.
"You really came at the right time, Mr. Fudge."
Professor McGonagall's tone was gentle, but Fudge heard a sense of sarcasm.
"We rushed to Hogwarts as quickly as possible, Professor McGonagall."
Fudge gave a bitter smile, then straightened his tie and walked to Dumbledore's side, asking in a low voice, "Where is 'that person'?"
The tall Dumbledore looked down at Fudge, his sharp eyes making Fudge tilt his head away silently.
"From now on, everyone doesn't need to avoid Voldemort's name anymore. As Minister for Magic, I hope you can set a benchmark for other colleagues."
"Tom Riddle is completely dead."
Dumbledore's thick voice reached everyone's ears.
The news of Voldemort's death made Fudge slightly stunned.
