Chapter 235: Shared Rojie, Activated!
The Gray Mist Hall.
As a strange swirl of gray mist churned, a figure slowly materialized.
It was Armor Rojie, who had just tested the power of the Dark Emperor Armor.
He had barely steadied his footing and hadn’t yet adjusted his appearance when he heard a startled exclamation.
“Holy shit, someone else?”
“Isn’t this my golden finger?”
Armor Rojie looked up and saw a young man in a Zhongshan suit, his hair combed perfectly in place, standing not far away.
The man’s face was identical to his own.
Armor Rojie raised an eyebrow and smirked.
Oh, a new arrival.
Thinking this, Armor Rojie cleared his throat and adopted the demeanor of a senior.
“Kid, Itachi’re the newcomer. Welcome to the Gray Mist Hall.”
“I’m your senior. Come here and hug my leg.”
The newcomer Rojie froze, then suddenly realized something.
“Wait…”
“Why do Itachi look exactly like me?”
“Same blood, different parents?”
The newcomer Rojie had a thought.
“Could this be the Shared Golden Finger?”
Armor Rojie nodded: “Correct. Sharing one’s own power across all worlds.”
The newcomer Rojie’s eyes lit up—he instantly understood: “Got it, got it.”
He was familiar with this!
Once he understood the situation, the newcomer Rojie didn’t hesitate—he reached out and touched Armor Rojie.
The next instant, a flood of information surged into Armor Rojie’s mind.
With memory sharing, both now knew each other’s experiences.
The newcomer Rojie’s transmigration story was like a mashup blockbuster anthology.
One day he suddenly woke up to find himself transported to a parallel world resembling early Republican China.
At first, he thought it was a late Qing–early Republic novel and planned to use his foreknowledge to save the nation.
But after growing up and studying abroad, he met a girl named Evelyn.
She was fluent in ancient Egyptian script, an Egyptologist.
Rojie immediately realized something was off.
This wasn’t just any Egyptologist—she was the female lead from the Mummy film series.
He had been transported into a movie world.
Driven by his thirst for power, Rojie joined Evelyn’s team and followed her to the City of the Dead, Hamunaptra.
Thanks to his foreknowledge and a bit of luck, he got to the Book of the Dead first and successfully thwarted High Priest Imhotep’s plan to resurrect Anck-su-namun.
Moreover, he learned the dark spells from the Book of the Dead, gaining the ability to summon undead, control sand, and even temporarily resurrect corpses.
Unfortunately, Rojie himself had no magical power—he could only rely on the dark magic within the Book of the Dead.
Later, while studying abroad, Rojie heard a name.
Indiana Jones.
The protagonist of the Indiana Jones series.
He then realized this world wasn’t a single universe—it was a chaotic fusion of multiple cinematic universes.
Later still, while traveling in Britain, Rojie accidentally met Richard Croft, Laura Croft’s father.
Now even the Tomb Raider series had been woven in.
Rojie could no longer sit still: “What the hell kind of stew is this universe?”
But soon after, his adoptive father died suddenly in an accident.
Rojie had to return home to handle the funeral and inherit the family estate.
His family was a wealthy household in the provincial capital, with vast assets and extensive connections.
Rojie was about to sell the family estate and join Dr. Jones in searching for the Ark, the Holy Grail, and the Disc of Destiny—
When, by chance, he met a female college student named Ren Tingting.
Wasn’t this the ultimate multiverse cannon fodder, on par with Gwen?
Through Ren Tingting, Rojie learned her hometown had a Daoist named Master Jiu.
The Zombie Master film universe had also been fused in.
Rojie finally understood.
This wasn’t just a regular mashup world—it was a super mashup world.
Very likely, hidden somewhere were still other plotlines Rojie didn’t know about.
After learning of Master Jiu’s existence, Rojie planned to seek him out and learn Dao.
After all, though he had the Book of the Dead, he himself had no magical power—every spell required the Book’s own energy, and it was extremely unstable.
What if the Book disappeared? He’d be screwed.
Just as Rojie was about to set out—
His vision went black.
Then he appeared in this mist-filled hall.
After reading the newcomer Rojie’s story, Armor Rojie stared in shock: “That’s insane.”
“Your world is a mix of Indiana Jones, The Mummy, Tomb Raider, and Mr. Vampire?!”
The newcomer Rojie nodded seriously: “Yeah, I was planning to team up with Master Jiu and fight the Scorpion King.”
Armor Rojie rubbed his temples, sighing helplessly: “Your life’s even more surreal than mine—Itachi’ve got East meets West all over the place.”
He suddenly thought of something and couldn’t help complaining: “By the way, why didn’t your world include The Tomb Raider or Ghost Blows Out the Light?”
“Your overseas plots are all adventure stuff—hardly different from tomb raiding.”
The newcomer Rojie shrugged: “How do Itachi know they’re not there?”
“Maybe the Nine Gates and tomb robbers are all already in play.”
Armor Rojie could only raise his hands: “Fine, fine, there are even higher-level players.”
As they spoke, Armor Rojie suddenly changed expression, fixing his sharp gaze on the newcomer Rojie.
“Wait.”
Armor Rojie narrowed his eyes: “How did Itachi end up sleeping with Evelyn?”
The newcomer Rojie looked utterly matter-of-fact: “I thought Itachi meant something big—it was just a casual thing.”
“I just said she was the most beautiful foreign girl I’d ever seen, and she took the initiative.”
“So eager—I couldn’t very well refuse, could I?”
Armor Rojie stared at him in disbelief: “Itachi stole the female lead?”
The newcomer Rojie waved his hand: “Minor thing. Honestly, I preferred Laura—but she hadn’t been born yet.”
Armor Rojie’s lip twitched: “Isn’t your timeline a bit messed up?”
The newcomer Rojie nodded: “Exactly. The timeline’s already chaotic—why couldn’t Laura be born earlier?”
Armor Rojie fell silent for a moment, then said only one thing: “Itachi’re a lustful beast.”
The newcomer Rojie laughed: “Compared to the brother who got transmigrated into a hentai world, what’s this?”
“I remember in The Mummy 3 there was a Fountain of Youth—I was planning to steal it for immortality.”
“Now that I’ve shared power, I don’t need it anymore.”
Armor Rojie smiled: “Right. With the Dog Talisman’s power, why bother with the Fountain of Youth?”
After arguing and laughing for hours, they waited in the Gray Mist Hall and, seeing no one else arrive, decided to return to their own worlds.
The next instant, a swirl of gray mist surged—and both figures vanished.
