Chapter 246
Rojie rubbed his chin: “The Dragon Emperor’s coffin should be right there.”
Simu stared in stunned awe: “This is way too extravagant.”
“I’ve been raising corpses for years, never seen a grave like this.”
Rojie grabbed Simu’s arm, cast a spell, and a cloud of auspicious mist slowly rose beneath their feet.
“Let’s go take a look from above.”
Not long after, the two arrived at the entrance of Tiangong.
He raised his hand and knocked on the door: “Anyone inside?”
“Express delivery from the Underworld—please sign for your reincarnation notice.”
Silence filled the chamber.
Rojie snorted coldly, his gaze turning icy:
“Itachi want me to beg for respect?”
He transformed into the Door-Breaking Prince and kicked out with full force.
CRASH!!!
With a thunderous boom, the floating gate of Tiangong burst open.
Simu stared in shock: “Master Rojie, your door-breaking technique is professional-grade.”
Rojie brushed dust off his feet, calm as ever: “Of course—it’s my job to demolish illegal structures.”
Before he finished speaking, a clear, captivating voice echoed from deep within Tiangong:
“Who are Itachi?”
Soon after, a beautiful woman in ancient attire walked forward slowly.
She was Princess Yushu!
Two thousand years in the tomb had not aged her—instead, she grew younger, as if she’d just finished a premium spa treatment.
Yushu eyed Rojie and Simu warily:
“Who are Itachi?”
Rojie didn’t answer. He narrowed his eyes, studied her for a few seconds, then confirmed:
“Itachi’re Yushu?”
At the name, her eyes lit with surprise: “Itachi know me?”
“Did Akatsuki Chuan send Itachi as reinforcements?”
Rojie immediately replied with vague agreement:
“Yeah, yeah, sure.”
Yushu beamed: “Wonderful! I knew Akatsuki Chuan wouldn’t abandon me.”
Rojie nodded: “Mm-hmm.”
Without warning, he waved his hand, unleashed spiritual power, and yanked Yushu’s soul from her body, tossing it into his own miniature world.
How dare a mere woman disturb my composure?
Rojie began scanning Tiangong, searching for the Dragon Emperor’s coffin.
Suddenly, his gaze locked onto a floating jade coffin at the very center, highest point of Tiangong.
Simu noticed too and asked hesitantly: “Is that the Dragon Emperor’s coffin?”
Rojie nodded, voice serious:
“That’s it.”
Simu swallowed hard: “Master Rojie… Itachi don’t mean to recruit him too, do Itachi?”
Rojie smiled: “Of course.”
“The Terracotta Warriors have official positions—can we let their boss rot here in dust?”
“He’s the first emperor. Give him a Ghost Emperor title, make him an honorary chair in the Underworld.”
With that, he strode toward the floating jade coffin, eyes alight with anticipation.
Rojie kicked it straight.
CRACK!
The coffin lid flew off.
As expected, a Terracotta Warrior lay peacefully inside.
Rojie immediately activated the power of the Rat Talisman.
Transform stillness into motion!
The next instant, the warrior’s eyes snapped open.
The Dragon Emperor revived!
But instead of thanking his savior, the Dragon Emperor’s first act was to spit a torrent of flame!
“WHOOSH!!!”
Scorching fire surged forward, instantly engulfing Rojie.
Simu gasped: “Master Rojie!”
Rojie stood unharmed in the flames, casually brushing ash from his clothes:
“Itachi bite the hand that feeds Itachi.”
“I thought Itachi were here to join me—Itachi’re here to grill me?”
Rojie had fused with the Holy Lord’s power—fire immunity was basic.
Absorbing his fire technique was no challenge.
Rojie thought, and the flames circled him once, then surrendered, switching sides.
Just as Rojie opened his mouth to lecture this ancient relic—
The Dragon Emperor’s body twisted violently!
His body swelled, three heads burst forth from different directions, wings and a tail sprouting from his back.
He became a three-headed dragon!
Simu froze: “What kind of design is this?”
“Isn’t this a foreign dragon?”
Rojie stared at the bizarre, East-meets-West monstrosity before him, internally groaning.
Of course—The Mummy 3 was the worst smear job on Qin Shi Huang.
The plot was bad enough, but now they turned him into a Western lizard.
Even the Holy Lord looked more like a Chinese dragon.
At least the Holy Lord’s spiritual form carried some Eastern dragon’s dignity.
But since I’m building a cross-border Underworld corporation, East-West fusion isn’t out of the question.
As long as they obey orders, even a nine-headed hydra gets hired.
Rojie looked up at the Dragon Emperor, voice calm but absolute:
“I command Itachi to join my Underworld startup.”
“Benefits are generous: meals, lodging, full posthumous welfare.”
“Now, either obey—or I’ll break Itachi back to base form and make Itachi reapply.”
The Dragon Emperor opened his mouth as if to speak.
Before he could utter a word, Rojie slapped him hard and sent him flying.
“Too ugly to tolerate—first, beat him up.”
The Dragon Emperor rolled midair, steadied himself, and roared: “How dare Itachi insult—”
Before he finished, Rojie charged forward.
“WHOOSH!!!”
A torrent of flame erupted, engulfing the entire Tiangong as if to burn it to ash.
But Rojie ignored the fire, stepped through the air, and lunged straight at the Dragon Emperor.
He reached out and tore.
CRACK!
Two of the Dragon Emperor’s heads were ripped off—now he was just a regular lizard.
The Dragon Emperor screamed, writhing violently, tail lashing, wings flailing.
But Rojie gave him no chance.
Another elbow strike, then he tore off the ugly wings and threw them to the ground.
Simu stared in shock: “Master Rojie, what are Itachi doing?”
Rojie replied: “Applicants for Ghost Emperor must meet aesthetic standards.”
“Three heads, two wings? That’s not Underworld-approved.”
As he spoke, he kept working.
Just as he forcibly reshaped the Dragon Emperor into a proper Chinese dragon—
The Dragon Emperor’s body began swelling again!
The severed parts regenerated instantly—three heads and wings reappeared.
Rojie frowned: “Itachi regenerate pretty well, huh?”
He sneered: “Looks like Itachi need a facelift.”
The next instant, he activated the Monkey Talisman’s power.
A flash of blue light passed, and the Dragon Emperor’s body twisted violently.
His scales rearranged and recombined; three heads merged into one, wings retracted into his body, the lizard tail became a dragon tail, and lizard claws turned into dragon claws.
Soon, the Dragon Emperor was utterly and completely transformed into a true Chinese dragon!
Rojie nodded in satisfaction: “Now that’s more like it.”
“A Chinese dragon must look like a Chinese dragon.”
“Otherwise, it’s not even worth keeping as a pet.”
The Dragon Emperor finally regained consciousness, stared at his new body, and blinked in confusion:
“Am I still me?”
