Chapter 57: Mangekyo Sharingan!
The instant the Seven Sins Eye appeared, Uchiha Luofu suddenly felt an inexplicable force surging into that eye from all around heaven and earth.
At this moment, Uchiha Luofu did not notice that the six pupils surrounding the core of the seven-pupiled eye on his forehead, arranged like a hexagram, had abruptly begun to rotate—and their speed increased rapidly.
“Sssss!!”
Accompanied by the Seven Sins Eye’s activity, Uchiha Luofu’s Sharingan involuntarily activated, and the three black tomoe spun swiftly.
As if driven by the Seven Sins Eye, their speed grew ever faster.
A streak of blood trickled down from the corner of Uchiha Luofu’s eye.
Yet his vision had never been clearer—vast amounts of ocular power flooded into his mind, causing Uchiha Luofu to involuntarily grunt.
Once the spinning speed of the three tomoe surpassed a certain limit, they abruptly transformed into an intricate pattern.
At first glance, the crimson Sharingan appeared as if it, too, had become a seven-pupiled eye like the Seven Sins Eye on his forehead; but upon closer inspection, Uchiha Luofu’s Mangekyo Sharingan had not gained seven pupils—instead, the three tomoe had split into six, connected by a thin black line.
This created the illusion that the Mangekyo had also become a Seven Sins Eye.
But the true reason Uchiha Luofu’s face flushed with sudden excitement was his ocular technique.
He did not know whether it was because he had acquired the demon’s power from Demon Slayer Luofu that his own Uchiha bloodline had mutated—his Mangekyo, though activated, had not granted him any clearly defined ocular technique.
Yet those six tomoe-like entities were six ocular technique slots, each capable of imprinting one ninjutsu, with no restrictions whatsoever.
In other words, even Kekkei Genkai or bloodline limits, Uchiha Luofu could imprint them onto his Mangekyo's ocular slots and transform them into his own ocular techniques, using them through his eyes.
Even the Mangekyo Sharingan techniques of the Uchiha clan could be imprinted onto his ocular slots.
What delighted Uchiha Luofu even more was that the demon body of Demon Slayer Luofu, with its immense regenerative power, though altered by the difference in worlds and unable to grant him the same invincibility as the Sun Blade decapitation or direct sunlight, had still enhanced his recovery to a level rivaling Hashirama Senju.
Even if he lost limbs, as long as his chakra was sufficient, he could regenerate them in a short time.
The enhancement of his recovery meant a transformation of his physical constitution—right now, Uchiha Luofu felt his chakra had surged several times over in an instant.
He did not know how immense Hashirama Senju’s chakra had once been, or how vast Naruto Uzumaki’s would be in the future, but he knew that Kushina Uzumaki, famed for her enormous chakra reserves, was now only a hair’s breadth away from his own level.
This gap continued to narrow as Uchiha Luofu increasingly localized the power of Demon Slayer Luofu.
In simple terms, his current constitution, chakra reserves, and regenerative capacity were now comparable to those of the Uzumaki and Senju clans.
This regenerative power was even reflected in his Mangekyo Sharingan.
His ocular power could regenerate—though the recovery rate was extremely slow, the mere fact that it regenerated meant that even without achieving the Eternal Mangekyo, he faced no risk of blindness.
The power he had inherited from Demon Slayer Luofu had not merely altered his Uchiha bloodline—the Seven Sins Eye had become his third eye outright.
And it was an eye of Mangekyo-level power without ocular slots, capable of instantly plunging any target into the extreme emotions of the Seven Sins, even without direct eye contact.
Even without direct gaze, it could influence others’ Seven Sins emotions within a certain range.
In Uchiha Luofu’s view, the latter was clearly far more useful.
After all, the ninja world held too many strange and unusual techniques—his forehead suddenly bearing a third eye would make any opponent wary of locking eyes with it.
This meant he had few opportunities to directly drag his opponent into the extreme emotions of the Seven Sins through his ocular technique.
“Heh heh heh… Hahaha…” One hand gently stroking his forehead, Uchiha Luofu felt an uncontrollable urge to laugh wildly.
Just as Uchiha Luofu was lost in the ecstasy of his sudden power surge,
a sudden voice pierced his ears.
“How pitiful— a ninja from Konoha? Or perhaps an Uchiha? Going mad on the battlefield. But no matter— I’ll send Itachi out of this miserable world right away.”
Turning toward the voice, several ninja wearing the forehead protectors of the Hidden Mist Village had, without his notice, surrounded Uchiha Luofu completely, sealing off every possible escape route.
His forehead, still covered by the hand raised in laughter, concealed the Seven Sins Eye.
Without a word, Uchiha Luofu deactivated his Mangekyo and scanned his surroundings.
“How unfortunate—I’ve stumbled upon such a powerful combination: the Water Moon clan, the Kaguya clan, the Kirigiri clan—all these bloodline users gathered together. Are Itachi planning to launch a surprise attack on Konoha’s military encampment?” Uchiha Luofu deduced with sudden insight.
“Itachi’re surprisingly clever—not like an Uchiha at all, but more like a Nara,” said the slender, androgynous Water Moon ninja with long flowing hair: “But knowing our purpose means Itachi can’t be left alive. Then again, Itachi’re already insane—laughing alone in the woods. Living in this sorrowful world is merely torment. Let me grant Itachi eternal peace.”
As he spoke, the Water Moon ninja swiftly formed hand seals with his lowered right hand.
With only one hand, he completed the seals in under three seconds and unleashed the technique.
Terrifying cold instantly swept through the surroundings; the already humid borderlands of the Land of Fire transformed into a scene of swirling snow.
“Let me handle this,” said the Kaguya ninja with white hair, drawing bone weapons from his body: “Hunting down an Uchiha—even a mad one—is a fine achievement for me.”
“I’m sorry, but my prey won’t be handed over to anyone,” said the Water Moon ninja, already beginning to cast another technique.
A sudden surge of unexplained rage flooded the Kaguya ninja’s heart.
Already mentally unstable, the Kaguya ninja exploded under the influence of this fury.
