Chapter 457: The Hypothesis of the Void Main Universe and the Secret of the Ascension Ground!

~11 min read 2,082 words

“Strange?”

Chu Yang raised an eyebrow; known universes contained few sub-dimensions, and those were extremely hidden, rarely discovered or explored.

In fact, the Shadow World was one such sub-dimension—originally much smaller, existing only in the fissure between the Void and the Main Universe.

During the Super God Academy era, it was precisely because Karl discovered the Shadow World and continuously explored the Void and Ultimate Fear that it gradually expanded.

After the physical war between the Angels and the Triangulum ended, it was said the Triangulum also discovered a sub-dimension, allowing them to barely survive.

Otherwise, the Angels would have long since exterminated them completely.

But since the Angels looked down on these “dark corners,” they never seriously studied sub-dimensions.

In a certain sense, the Space-Time Corridor was also an expression of a sub-dimension.

But Chu Yang had never entered the Space-Time Corridor, so he knew little about it.

The Space-Time Corridor held little appeal for him; the only valuable thing was that one could meet Space Principal Kiran through it.

Once, Chu Yang had considered using the power of Space-Time Genes to enter the Space-Time Corridor and meet Kiran.

But after meeting Kiran once at the 19th Defense Line, he abandoned the idea.

Because Kiran had now shed his physical form and become a being akin to a higher-dimensional entity—communicating with him was fraught with obstacles, and valuable information was hard to obtain.

Although every sub-dimension was astonishingly strange, if He Xi called it “strange,” it was clearly extraordinary.

He Xi seemed to be organizing her words; after a moment of hesitation, she said: “That place… appears to be an artificially created sub-dimension!”

Chu Yang’s pupils contracted slightly—artificially created? Even with his current strength and mastery over space, he could not create a sub-dimension within the Super God Universe.

To accomplish this would require near-total comprehension of the entire known universe, even the unknown universe and the Void.

Yet looking across the gods of the universe, not only him, but even combining the knowledge of all top scholars would fall far short of this! After all, no one in history had ever stepped into the Void or the unknown universe—how could one claim full understanding?

“Who?” Chu Yang narrowed his eyes.

He Xi sighed: “I don’t know, but it’s certainly not the Woma Civilization!”

“Even the scholar who originally established the Ascension System could never have achieved this!”

“Otherwise, how could the Woma Civilization have ended up in its current state?”

Creating a sub-dimension meant absolute understanding of the universe’s structure and complete insight into the mysteries of time and space.

If anyone truly could do this, they would have long since dominated the universe!

“I suspect this sub-dimension likely originated from prehistory…” He Xi’s tone grew grave.

Chu Yang’s eyes lit up, and he stood up: “Give me the precise coordinates—I’ll go see it myself!”

“I’m coming too!” He Xi’s voice was firm.

Chu Yang paused, hesitating: “Aren’t Itachi always inseparable from the Angelic Capital?”

“What if the Angels are in danger when Itachi leave?”

After all, Nusa is currently leading the Shadow World’s counterattack—if he learns He Xi has left the Angelic Capital, and Yan is still stuck in Ferez…

That guy might take desperate action, relying on his pseudo-king-level combat power to lead troops straight to the Angelic Capital! He Xi snorted: “If Nusa dares come, his puppet body will never return!”

“I could even use this puppet body to lock onto Nusa’s true location!”

Here, she shifted tone, teasing: “With our Supreme God’s help, the 19th Defense Line is no longer what it used to be!”

Chu Yang knew He Xi wasn’t exaggerating.

Since Hua Ye’s demise and the fall of the Heavenly Scum, He Xi had continuously reinforced the 19th Defense Line.

With Chu Yang’s Pangu providing technical support, and He Xi’s Celestial Computing Array upgraded to a level rivaling the Sacred Knowledge Vault,

even Chu Yang didn’t know the current strength of the 19th Defense Line.

But one thing was certain—it was no less formidable than the Solar Defense Line.

After all, the Solar Defense Line was the most formidable defensive system in the known universe! “It’s surprising Yan would let Itachi, the Celestial King, risk yourself in an unknown sub-dimension.”

Chu Yang smiled; sub-dimensions were full of instability—even a King-level entering might not emerge unscathed.

He Xi whispered: “She doesn’t even know about this—otherwise, she’d never agree.”

Yan wouldn’t restrict He Xi’s freedom or block her academic pursuits, but helping Chu Yang was another matter entirely.

Yan now harbored deep resentment toward Chu Yang; anything connected to him, she handled with extreme caution, terrified of falling into his trap.

…………

Woma System.

Amid continuous warfare, the entire Woma System lay in ruins.

But as the rebel forces gradually seized control of most of the system, regions under their rule began stabilizing—even becoming more prosperous than before.

Standing above a life-bearing planet, Chu Yang frowned: “Itachi’re sure this is it?”

He Xi tilted her chin: “No mistake—I filtered countless spatial nodes before locking onto this target.”

Chu Yang narrowed his eyes; he had scanned every inch of the Woma System, yet found nothing unusual.

Now it seemed either the Woma Civilization possessed concealment methods beyond his detection, or this sub-dimension was exceptionally unique.

“I can only give Itachi the precise coordinates—whether Itachi can enter depends on your own ability!”

As she spoke, she transmitted the coordinates to Pangu.

Chu Yang received them, then took out the Klein Bottle, pouring vast Source Qi into it—the Klein Bottle began glowing.

He Xi widened her eyes, staring at the Klein Bottle in his hand, utterly stunned: “Itachi… where did Itachi get this thing?”

Chu Yang smiled: “Qiangwei entered the Space-Time Corridor, met Space Principal Kiran there, and received it from him.”

He Xi sighed: “In the known universe, only Itachi and Qiangwei, who possesses Space-Time Genes, could have met him.”

Chu Yang shook his head: “Not necessarily—don’t forget Mo Ganna!”

He Xi fell silent; in terms of Space-Time power, even Qiangwei couldn’t match Mo Ganna—after all, the research that created the Space-Time Crystal was primarily led by Mo Ganna and Karl.

Moments later, the Klein Bottle blazed brightly, then rapidly dimmed—a spatial passage slowly formed.

“Let’s go! I want to see what’s so special about this artificially created sub-dimension!”

Chu Yang waved his hand and stepped first into the passage; He Xi followed closely behind. “High-dimensional space!”

As they passed through the passage, Chu Yang and He Xi both exclaimed simultaneously.

“So it really was created by a prehistoric civilization!”

As she followed Chu Yang forward, He Xi took a deep breath: “We can also confirm that a far more brilliant era once existed—far surpassing today’s known universe!”

“So Itachi’re admitting Ultimate Fear exists?” Chu Yang raised an eyebrow.

He Xi shook her head: “No—quite the opposite. I believe Ultimate Fear is a paradox!”

“If prehistoric civilizations were far stronger than we imagine, even if the Void invaded the Main Universe, it could never have wiped out all prehistoric civilizations!”

“Moreover…”

He Xi didn’t continue; Chu Yang picked up the thread: “The biggest paradox in Ultimate Fear is this—if the collapse was caused by the Void, then the Void once ruled the entire Main Universe.”

“If so, what force drove them back into the Void?”

“If Ultimate Fear truly exists, then Void beings should be the primary lifeforms, and we’re merely secondary beings surviving in the cracks.”

“Exactly!” He Xi nodded: “That’s precisely why Queen Kasha has always denied Ultimate Fear’s existence.”

“But then again…”

He Xi’s expression grew solemn: “If Ultimate Fear truly exists, then the universe we live in now is not the primary world!”

“Itachi mean…” Chu Yang frowned, “the historical rupture and prehistoric civilizations originated from the Void?”

“Void beings aren’t native to the Void—the Void itself was once the primary world, invaded and occupied by Void beings, leading to the extinction of all civilizations.”

“Our universe is a secondary universe—a refuge where a small fraction of humanity fled before the rupture, giving rise to a new human civilization?”

This sounded abstract; to illustrate, under this hypothesis, the Void is like the Grand World of the Qi World, while Chu Yang’s universe is the Qi Continent.

If Void beings are likened to the Outworld Demon Clan, then the Outworld Demon Clan invaded the entire Grand World, nearly exterminating humanity and causing a historical rupture.

Only a tiny number of humans escaped the Grand World and took root on the Qi Continent, eventually rebuilding human civilization.

Yet those living on the Qi Continent all subjectively believe the Qi Continent is the “upper realm,” while the Grand World becomes their perceived “lower realm.”

Chu Yang frowned: “This hypothesis is too absurd—and many parts don’t make sense…”

He Xi shrugged: “Indeed, Earth is a perfect example.”

“Not only do myths conceal super genes, but tens of thousands of years ago, the Angels reached the Chiwu Star System.”

“Yet even then, it was confirmed that Chiwu was unsuitable for life.”

“But no one expected that thousands of years ago, life on Earth surged, developing into a pre-nuclear civilization within mere millennia.”

He Xi spoke with deep implication: “Many Earth myths seem mere fantasy, yet bear traces of truth.”

Chu Yang spread his hands: “So the ‘Void Main Universe’ hypothesis has too many flaws—it’s far less convincing than the idea that the unknown universe is life’s origin.”

“Still chasing the unknown universe?” He Xi was surprised.

Chu Yang smiled: “I want to uncover the cause of the historical rupture and the history buried in the river of time.”

“The only three possible directions are the Void, Earth, and the unknown universe.”

“No critical clues exist on Earth—if the Void’s depths hold no answers, I’ll have to explore the unknown universe!”

“Itachi’re truly insane!” He Xi gasped, then suddenly smirked: “But…”

“If Itachi really plan to explore the unknown universe, Itachi’d better take me with Itachi!”

Chu Yang glanced at her: “If I steal away the Celestial King, won’t Yan come after me with a vengeance?”

“Let’s say we’re eloping! She can’t stop me from chasing happiness!” He Xi teased.

Chu Yang shot her a sidelong glance: “This isn’t the Angelic Capital—teasing a Supreme God face-to-face isn’t wise. I wouldn’t mind becoming an Angelic Knight.”

He Xi paused, then realized the implication of “Angelic Knight,” and smirked: “Aren’t Itachi afraid your two little wives will tear Itachi apart if they hear that?”

Chu Yang shrugged: “They won’t tear me apart—but they might tear Itachi apart.”

Hexi couldn’t help but shiver—the Earth of the Three Gods era had undoubtedly become the most powerful civilization in the known universe.

The Three Gods represent three supreme deities.

And Chu Yang’s two wives are two of them! Before their eyes, his royal-tier combat power truly paled in comparison!

“We’re here!”

As Hexi was lost in thought, Chu Yang suddenly halted, his voice growing slightly grave.

Hexi snapped his head up and saw, before them, a “desert” had appeared out of nowhere.

It was called a desert, but in truth it was a golden vortex formed from immense energy, the energy solidified into tangible golden sand.

At the vortex’s center floated a golden sphere, its surface covered in runes—every bit of this energy converged here because of the sphere.

“It’s a Ascension Rune!” Hexi exclaimed involuntarily.

The Voma royal family had ruled the entire Voma Star System and controlled the power of faith precisely because they possessed one Ascension Rune.

Yet here, on the golden sphere, countless Ascension Runes were densely packed! “This… the so-called Ascension Realm was actually formed around a high-dimensional artifact?!” Hexi’s thoughts churned violently.

Chu Yang suddenly laughed: “It seems we all overestimated the scholars of that original Voma Star System!”

“The Ascension System wasn’t created by him at all!”

“He told a colossal lie!”

Hexi seemed to realize something, took a deep breath, and said: “Itachi mean… the Ascension System, and this sphere from the high-dimensional world, are relics of a prehistoric civilization?”

Chu Yang countered: “If not from a prehistoric civilization, who in the known universe could have created such power?”

Hexi fell silent—because even Ding Heige and Kiran could never achieve this!

“Then… how do we control this Ascension Realm?” Hexi asked a crucial question.

He knew Chu Yang had been probing the secrets of the Ascension System precisely because he coveted its power.

But neither prehistoric technology nor high-dimensional artifacts could be easily mastered! (End of chapter)
