Chapter 461: Let me show you evolution in battle!

"Pikachu, hurry up and dodge, then immediately use Quick Attack!"

"Pika, Pika!"

Hearing Ash's command, Pikachu made a clever move and successfully dodged the weakened Shadow Ball.

And soon, his rapidly running body seemed to turn into an electric light, crashing into Shengzai at an astonishing speed.

But just when Pikachu was rushing towards him, Shengzai opened his mouth again and spat out golden stars.

"It's Swift, Pikachu hurry up and dodge!"

Swift is a normal-type move, and its characteristics are high speed and must-hit.

Facing the large amount of star-shaped light beam attacks, Pikachu obviously couldn't dodge the attack as easily as before.

So while sand and dust filled the ground, the yellow mouse's body also flew out from the sand and dust.

"Pikachu, are you okay? Can you continue to fight?"

Looking at Pikachu, who was covered in scars but still stubbornly supporting his body, Ash also asked worriedly.

"Pika, Pika!"

Facing his trainer's inquiry, Pikachu also made a strong and powerful sound, proving his determination!

"Very good, this is our first battle in the Kalos region, we can't lose like this.

Show our momentum, Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!"

Accompanied by a thick golden lightning released from Pikachu, and shooting towards Shengzai, a fluorescent green protective cover unfolded in front of Shengzai again.

When the golden lightning struck in front of Shengzai, it didn't even touch Shengzai's body, and was blocked by the barrier formed by "Protect."

However, as the output of Thunderbolt continued to strengthen, the "Protect" move in front of Shengzai also began to ripple like a water surface stirred up.

In the end, Pikachu's Thunderbolt attack, although it didn't break through Shengzai's "Protect," its impact also made Shengzai's body retreat a small step.

"Very good, Pikachu, next is the time to pursue the victory, use Volt Tackle!"

Seeing Pikachu's performance, the many trainers watching around also showed surprised expressions.

After all, this Pikachu in front of them could almost be said to be the one who had competed with this super strong Eevee for the longest time so far.

The other Pokémon that went up before were almost knocked out of fighting ability by Eevee's one blow, but this Pikachu was hit by the previous "Swift," not only didn't lose its fighting power, but its fighting spirit became even higher.

"That Pikachu actually learned a move like 'Volt Tackle'?

The previous Thunderbolt almost disintegrated Eevee's 'Protect.' This time, the more powerful Volt Tackle, relying on Protect alone, might not be able to stop it, right?

This Pikachu might really be able to defeat that Eevee!"

Volt Tackle can almost be considered one of the strongest moves among electric-type moves.

Pikachu, wrapped in golden electric light, not only possesses the speed when using Quick Attack, but also brings considerable electric attribute damage to the enemy while hitting the enemy with high-voltage volts on his body.

However, this fast and powerful move is not without shortcomings, that is, like moves such as "Double-Edge" and "Flare Blitz," these types of moves belong to the exchange moves of killing a thousand enemies and damaging eight hundred.

Pikachu, who was hit by Swift before, was already in a very bad state, but Ash believed that the Eevee who had been in a wheel battle for so long must be extremely exhausted now.

However, just when everyone thought that facing Pikachu's "Volt Tackle," even if Shengzai wouldn't lose his fighting ability, he would definitely suffer considerable damage this time, a white light suddenly covered Shengzai's body.

"This is the light of evolution! This Eevee actually evolved in battle!"

Shengzai, covered by white light, his body began to change under the white light, and soon, in full view of everyone, he evolved into a Pokémon with light yellow fur, but with ears and tail like green leaves.

"Leafeon, grass-type Pokémon, the unique fragrance emitted by the leaves on the body is very popular for making perfume.

The tail is like a sharp blade, sharp and unparalleled, and can even cut a big tree into two."

Looking at the information popped up on the Pokémon illustrated book, Ash had a surprised expression on his face. He never expected that the Eevee he was battling with would suddenly evolve in battle.

And evolution is fine, the other party also happened to evolve into a grass-type Pokémon that most restrains the electric type.

Shengzai, who completed the evolution, not only changed his attribute to grass attribute, but his body shape also became much larger than before.

Looking at Pikachu rushing towards him using "Volt Tackle," Shengzai also used "Double-Edge" without any hesitation, and also bumped into the other party with his head.

And accompanied by a huge roar resounding through the battlefield, soon Pikachu's figure, after insisting for less than a moment, was directly bumped away by Shengzai, and finally fell into Ash's hands as he reached out to catch it.

Electric-type attacks have little damage to grass-type Pokémon. Although Ash is a master of reverse attributes, the attributes and levels of Shengzai and Pikachu are there. In a hard collision, the one who finally lost was naturally Pikachu.

After bumping away the old opponent Pikachu, Shengzai in the Leafeon state immediately used the combination move of "Sunny Day" and "Synthesis."

So in a short period of time, not only was the impact of the previous "Double-Edge" eliminated, but even the physical strength lost in the previous wheel battle was restored quite a bit.

Looking at the defeated old opponent Pikachu, and then looking at the Leafeon Shengzai who was standing on the field, the Team Rocket trio also showed an expression of disbelief.

"Eevee, Eevee..." (Brother is so amazing! No matter who it is, they are not brother's opponent.)

James glanced at the little Eevee in his arms, and then looked at the Leafeon Shengzai on the field, and suddenly said: "You said that since this little thing is the sister of that Leafeon, does it mean that she also has the potential not to lose to her brother?"

When hearing James's words, Jessie was stunned for a moment, and then quickly snatched the little Eevee from James's hands.

"Eevee..."

And it seemed that because Jessie's movements were too rough, the little Eevee made a sound, which also made Shengzai and Ash on the field notice the Team Rocket trio at the same time.

"Team Rocket, it's you guys again!"

Seeing the Team Rocket trio, and the little Eevee struggling constantly in their hands, Ash naturally thought that they were here to capture Pokémon again.

However, even if he wanted to stop Team Rocket, the only Pokémon he had on hand, Pikachu, had just been beaten to serious injury.
