Chapter 469

Diantha is both a League Champion and a popular actress, and her connections are indeed quite awesome.

With the placement of a large number of advertising rewards, Shengzai and Diantha soon received news of Eevee appearing in Anistar City.

At the same time, Ash and his group clearly didn't know yet that the Eevee Serena had captured was the younger sister of the Super Eevee that had once appeared in Lumiose City.

After arriving in Anistar City, Serena was preparing for the performance for the Anistar City Pokémon Showcase.

Because it was Eevee's debut, Serena planned to let Eevee participate in the preliminary round, so she was currently training Eevee.

At the same time, Ash was also near the Pokémon Center, having his first Pokémon battle with his strongest rival in the Kalos region, Alain.

And the two sides of the battle were Alain's Charizard and Ash's extremely special Greninja.

When the battle reached its climax, Alain and Charizard used Mega Evolution, while Ash and Greninja entered the Bond Phenomenon state, with Greninja appearing brilliantly surrounded by water.

Counting all the Pokémon Ash has captured so far, not to mention Pikachu, whose strength and level fluctuate, the strength of Greninja in the Bond state can definitely rank in the top three among all of Ash's Pokémon.

However, it is a pity that Greninja and Ash have had too few battles together, so after a fierce fight, Greninja and Ash were eventually defeated.

But regarding the strength of Ash and Greninja, Alain also gave his affirmation and acknowledged them as powerful rivals.

And just as Alain was about to leave, he also saw Serena watching the battle from the side while holding Eevee, and couldn't help but show a look of emotion: "Eevee, I really want to compete with him again."

Hearing Alain's muttering, Ash and Clemont on the side were also stunned for a moment, and then Ash seemed to remember something and said: "Alain, could the strong enemy you just mentioned be that Eevee?"

The main reason Ash and the others met Alain at the Pokémon Center was that he had brought his Charizard for treatment.

And according to Alain himself, Charizard was injured because it challenged a strong enemy.

Originally, Ash and Clemont were wondering what kind of strong enemy could defeat Alain's powerful Charizard.

Now, seeing the strange expression Alain had when he just saw Eevee, Ash and the others could probably guess the answer.

"That's right, it's that Eevee that can evolve freely. I found him before and had a duel with him."

"As for the final result, it ended in a miserable defeat for me and Mega Charizard X."

"His strength is really strong! Even though Mega Charizard X at that time had already exerted 120% of its strength, we still found it difficult to cause him much effective damage."

Seeing Alain's unwilling expression, Ash and the others also showed an "as expected" look.

In the entire Kalos region, the only existence that could easily suppress Alain's Mega Charizard was probably that Eevee.

"Bui, bui!" (That's my brother, my brother is super amazing!)

Hearing Alain's words, the Eevee in Serena's arms was clearly crying out with unusual excitement.

However, it was a pity that Ash and Serena were not Pokémon and couldn't understand what Eevee was saying. Serena thought her Eevee was jealous, so she couldn't help but comfort it: "It's okay, Eevee, I believe in your performance talent."

"If it's in the Pokémon Showcase, I believe that even that Super Eevee from the Kalos region won't be your match."

In the backstage of the Anistar City Pokémon Showcase, when the staff were preparing for tomorrow's Anistar City Showcase, they suddenly received a phone call and told the Anistar City Showcase host, Mr. Pierre, who was beside them, with unusual excitement.

Anistar City is one of the most prosperous towns in the Kalos region. Since Ash was not yet ready to challenge the Anistar Gym, he decided to come to the Anistar City Showcase first to cheer for Serena.

The Pokémon Showcase is a competition where Pokémon trainers and Pokémon perform together.

This competition is a showcase that expresses the bond between trainer and Pokémon in another form, and it is a super cute dream festival held specifically for girls. Trainers participating in this competition are called Pokémon Performers.

Different from the Pokémon Contests in the Hoenn region, Coordinator trainers mostly direct their own Pokémon to let them show their charm and characteristics.

Pokémon Performers, on the other hand, need to perform on stage together with their Pokémon, and Performers rarely give orders to their Pokémon. Compared to the training of Pokémon by Pokémon Coordinators, Pokémon Performers value the talent of the Pokémon and the trainer themselves more.

"Nini, and Shauna, you guys also came to participate in this Anistar City Showcase."

Upon arriving at the waiting area for the Anistar City Showcase, Serena also saw the rivals she had encountered in the Pokémon Showcase a few times before.

"Serena, long time no see. I didn't expect to meet you at this Anistar City Showcase. It seems you will be my rival this time."

"I won't lose either, especially since I have a new partner this time."

"But speaking of which, the people who came to participate in the Anistar City Showcase this time are all familiar faces."

Serena was quite happy to meet Shauna and Nini, who were both friends and rivals, at the Anistar City Showcase.

However, just as she was sighing that all the people appearing at this Anistar City Showcase were familiar faces, Shauna on the side shook her head and said: "Serena, that's not right. There are actually people participating in the Pokémon Showcase for the first time this time."

"And I can be sure that the other party is the strongest rival for all of us this time!"

Hearing Shauna's words, Serena didn't understand who the rival she was talking about was at first.

Until she suddenly heard a girl not far away cheer suddenly: "Ms. Diantha, thank you for taking a photo with me. I will treasure this photo for a lifetime!"

"Ms. Diantha!"

At first, Serena thought she was having auditory hallucinations, and when she really saw a figure in a white gown surrounded by many girls in the waiting area, Serena exclaimed directly.

"Amazing, right? That is Ms. Diantha, the League Champion and super popular actress."

"Shauna, are you saying that Ms. Diantha is also going to participate in this Anistar City Showcase?"

Only contestants participating in the Pokémon Showcase could appear in the waiting area, but when she saw Diantha, Serena still asked her friend in disbelief.

"That's right. Many people have already confirmed it with her just now. Ms. Diantha, the Kalos League Champion and popular actress, will also participate in this Anistar City Showcase."

"So you should know what this means, Serena."
