Chapter 535: Shitya Wants Shengzai to Be Her Dog

~5 min read 932 words

"I am indeed the third prince of this kingdom, Shengzai Trans Ignar Leir Vanshuf. May I ask who you are?"

After much deliberation, Shengzai could not figure out where he had been exposed, so he could only grit his teeth and respond.

Upon hearing that Shengzai was truly Lord Ainz, the kingdom’s third prince whom Ainz highly valued, Shitya’s face lit up with surprise.

Didn’t Demiurge forbid him from participating in this operation? But since he came to her himself, she couldn’t be blamed for this, could she?

Shitya knew that Lord Ainz held great regard for this human, even sending Yalbed to sway him.

Because she had once been controlled by others and had attacked Lord Ainz, Shitya had long been haunted by guilt.

She desperately wanted to redeem herself, but that damn Demiurge never gave her the chance.

Now that the third prince Lord Ainz wished to recruit had appeared before her—if she could make him submit to Nazarick, wouldn’t she be helping Lord Ainz?

And wasn’t this originally Yalbed’s task? If she, Shitya, completed it, wouldn’t that prove she was more useful than Yalbed?

The thought of completing the mission and receiving a reward from Lord Ainz made Shitya so excited her panties grew damp.

"My name is Shitya Bradfron. Third prince of this kingdom—submit to me!"

"If you pledge loyalty to me, I’ll grant you anything you desire—women, power… or even let you lick my toes."

Upon hearing Shitya’s words, Shengzai, Brian, and even Clem—who had followed against advice—all froze in place.

Leaving aside Shengzai and Brian, Clem—who didn’t know Shitya—thought the woman had clearly lost her mind.

His Highness Shengzai is the kingdom’s third prince, noble in status and brilliant in talent; noble maidens eager to climb into his bed could line up from the capital all the way to Yelantir—and yet she dares demand he lick her toes!

Licking toes? What kind of reward is that? This is pure perversion!

"Mr. Brian, is she truly as strong as you said—as strong as Sebastian?"

Because he wore a mask, Clem couldn’t see her face, but from her words and actions just now, she was undoubtedly a pervert…

"His Highness Shengzai, do you know Shitya Bradfron?"

For Clem’s question, Brian paid no attention at all; what he cared about was why Shitya Bradfron, whom he had long yearned for, didn’t remember him—this “nail clipper”—yet recognized Shengzai, the third prince, at a glance.

"No, I don’t know any Shitya Bradfron."

Shitya’s name was familiar to Shengzai, but as the kingdom’s third prince, he had never met her before.

"Then why would Shitya Bradfron say…"

"It’s simple. His potential and talent earned the approval of our master. Thus, I naturally remember the name of anyone the Master approves of."

"Even if he’s just a pitiful, insignificant human."

Hearing that such a powerful monster had a “master,” Brian’s face twisted in terror.

"His Highness Shengzai, let us hold her off—please flee at once!"

Seeing that Shitya’s target was Shengzai, Clem immediately drew his longsword and stepped in front of him, urging Shengzai to escape.

Though he didn’t know how strong Shitya Bradfron truly was, if Mr. Brian said she could match Sebastian, then clearly they couldn’t defeat her.

His Highness Shengzai is Princess Lana’s most beloved brother; even if it cost him his life, he must buy Shengzai time to flee.

For Clem had sworn—he would never let Princess Lana shed a tear.

Brian also drew his blade alongside Clem. Though Shitya didn’t remember him, after meeting Clem and Sebastian, he had regained his resolve.

Now, he must prove to Shitya that his swordsmanship was not meaningless!

"I see. So you intend to block me? Not recognizing the gap in power between us… how troublesome."

Looking at Clem and Brian, who had taken combat stances, Shitya frowned in annoyance, then slowly extended her little finger nail.

The instant her nail scraped, a crimson blade erupted from her fingertip.

Clem and Brian, directly in its path, felt again the same crushing sensation of imminent death they had faced before when confronting Sebastian.

A powerful sense of death overwhelmed them; though their minds remained clear, their bodies felt as if drenched in lead—completely paralyzed!

But just as the crimson blade was about to split them in two, a figure suddenly dashed before Clem and Brian, drew a long blade, and slashed it clean through—shattering Shitya’s attack.

As the crimson blade shattered, Clem and Brian collapsed to the ground, drenched in cold sweat, utterly drained.

Brian was a genius swordsman capable of matching the kingdom’s strongest warrior, Gajeel. Clem had no warrior talent at all. Yet when facing a being like Shitya, whether hero-tier or ordinary human, the difference was negligible.

"How unexpected. You’re quite capable for a human. No wonder the Master wants to recruit you."

"Still, to me, you’re barely good enough to be a nail clipper."

Seeing Shengzai, who had blocked her attack with his blade, Shitya couldn’t help but raise her estimation of him.

After all, merely blocking her previous strike proved he was far stronger than most humans in this world.

While Shitya was only slightly surprised, Clem and Brian stared at Shengzai in utter shock.

Only after experiencing it firsthand could one understand how terrifying Shitya’s attack had been—it was a horror capable of shattering their will to fight.

Because she had truly intended to kill, her strike was even more terrifying than Sebastian’s earlier test.

Yet against this attack they couldn’t move to avoid, His Highness Shengzai not only moved—he blocked it for them!
