Sorry.]\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>------\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>As Corey gazed at his status screen, there were a few things he realized he had overlooked and ignored.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>First of all, the forbidden skill section.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>His main attention was on the Cognitum Erasure skill which had a mastery that was at the transcendent stage.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Corey was not shocked by this since he couldn't count the number of times he had used this skill on himself in the first tribulation of hell.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Having a transcendent mastery over Cognitum Erasure was not shocking to Corey, though, it was surprising.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He never knew his mastery over the skill would be that high.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>What Corey did not know was that Cognitum Erasure was created to be used on other people, not on the owner of the skill.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>So many things could go wrong when using the skill with a poor mastery. But Corey had used the skill so many times that he had unknowingly attained a transcendent mastery over the skill.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>A feat which would shock the gods and immortals alike.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>One should not forget that the grades of skill mastery were:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Basic, Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert, Master, Unparalleled, Transcendent, Origin & Creation.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Corey was on the cusp on attaining complete mastery over a forbidden skill and it was a feat which would completely stun the top powers in the Universe.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Asides from his transcendent mastery over Cognitum Erasure, Corey noticed something he had overlooked in the past.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Corey looked at his right index finger which was different from all his other fingers.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>His right index finger had changed after he consumed the strange finger he took from the desert of mysteries.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Corey recalled the pain he went through after he consumed the finger and he trembled.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He never wanted to go through such pain again.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>As Corey observed his right index finger, he noticed it now had strange markings and carvings that changed irregularly.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Asides from the changing carvings and markings, there were no other changes to his finger.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"The Universal System did not include the abilities of the finger in my status screen. Is there a reason for that?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>After Corey swallowed the strange finger from the desert of mysteries, his finger did not just change for appearance.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He had gained abilities from the finger and those abilities shocked Corey to his core.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>One of the abilities he gained from the finger was the ability to alter the physical structure of any living being that was at his tier or lower with a touch.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Although, this ability was extremely powerful, the ability had its drawbacks.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>It used something called soul essence and the rate in the change of his enemy's physical structure was not fast.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Though, if he poured more soul essence into the finger, he could speed up the rate of the physical alteration.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Corey did not know what soul essence truly was, but Nina told him it was an extremely precious energy and he had a lot of it.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>In fact, she said he had way too much of it.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>And the reason was due to his baptism under the Eye of God in the first tribulation of hell.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Although, Corey had a lot of soul essence, Nina told him he could use two different types of energies instead of his soul essence.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Apparently, the natural regeneration rate of soul essence was extremely slow and using it for the finger's ability was a waste in Nina's eyes.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The substitute energies were nightmare energy or dream essence.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>When Corey asked how he could get the two energies, Nina told him he had to enter the World of Dreams and Nightmares.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>When Corey heard that, his lips twitched.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Although he could enter the world of dreams and nightmare anytime he wanted since he was a walker, he had held off on doing so for numerous reasons.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The main one being that his instincts were telling him that he was too weak to survive the world of dreams and nightmares at his current level.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Corey trusted his instincts on things like this.
