A slight frown which even Corey failed to notice, flashed in her eyes in less than a second.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>She removed the glass cup from her mouth, and gestured it towards the Terror Queen who grabbed a nearby jug and refilled her cup.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Besides, Mr… Anon. I can call you Anon right?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"It's more comfortable for me since I want to talk to the creator of Neon.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Calista said while uncrossing her legs and leaning forward slightly, and Corey's lips twitched.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Sure.\" Corey replied with a smile that was not a smile.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Calista nodded, then she rested her back on the couch once again.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"You know, instead of being angry at me. You should be thanking me instead.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Calista drank from her cup while looking at Corey with smiling eyes, and Corey raised his brows.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Why should I be grateful towards you?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Corey questioned and Calista looked at Kiefer, making Kiefer's heart to skip a beat and Corey to frown.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"I'm the one currently preserving your life because of your previous actions.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Calista spoke with a nonchalant tone and Corey frowned.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>'Tell me what you've done and stop beating round the bush.'\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Corey thought, but didn't dare say his thoughts out loud.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Please enlighten me Mrs. Manager.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Corey said with a strained smile, and Calista slowly took a sip from her glass cup while crossing her legs once again.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Three seconds passed, then she spoke:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"You have done three things Anon which are quite remarkable if I might say.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Calista raised three fingers with a smile.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"You created a narcotic which can permanently increase the stats of tier 0s to tier 3s.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Calista dropped a finger.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"You killed this boy's father who was a close friend to the younger brother of Savage, the leader of the Legion of Nightmare. Who is now earnestly seeking you for revenge by the way.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Calista dropped another finger while chuckling softly.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Meanwhile, Corey's eyes were as wide as saucers the instant he heard Calista's words.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He now had a blood feud with the Legion of Nightmare, the strongest group in the entire Underworld?\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>How?\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Why?\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>And, what the fuck?\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Corey's mind was all jumbled up with various thoughts and questions, and despite these questions, he knew the right answer to these questions.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>It was the consequences of his actions.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Corey had taken an interest in Kiefer and he decided to save the boy so as to make use of him in the future.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>In the process, he had killed Kiefer's father, who shockingly had a connection with an important member of the Legion of Nightmare, which resulted in him now having a blood feud with the Legion of Nightmare.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Assuming Corey never decided to take Kiefer for himself, maybe, he wouldn't be at odds with the Legion of Nightmare currently.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>But was Corey going to start blaming anybody for his current predicament?\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>No!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Corey was not going to blame Kiefer.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Nor was he going to blame Nina for telling him to take Kiefer for himself.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>And he definitely was not going to blame himself for being greedy.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Since this was the consequences of his actions, then so be it.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He would find a way to cross the bridge when he got to it.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Corey looked at Kiefer who was trembling slightly while subtly glancing at him with eyes filled with fear.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Corey raised his hand, and Kiefer flinched and closed his eyes.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He expected a terrible and resounding slap of anger.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>But to his surprise, he felt a gentle pat on his head.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He opened his eyes, and with a confused expression, he looked at Corey.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Don't be afraid. Since you're my property from now, I'm not going to let any harm come upon you. Nor am I going to allow anybody to take you.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"They'd have to step over my dead body before they can hurt you or harm you.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Nobody takes my property.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Corey calmly said while looking into Kiefer's amber eyes which stared blankly at him.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Kiefer's mind was currently a mess.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Awwn. Such touching and courageous words. Are you done?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Calista voice which was filled with mockery resounded in the room, and Corey exhaled deeply before he nodded.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Great.\" Calista nonchalantly said while swirling her glass wine cup.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"As I was saying, the third thing you've done is that you're related to Divine and his group who have been under a lot of heat recently.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Corey frowned.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"As you can see, you have quite a lot of people who want to so desperately meet you.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"They either want to recruit you, enslave you, kill you, torture you or use you for something else.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"And guess what?\" Calista's smiled widened.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"You're to weak to prevent any of these people from doing these things to you.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Calista mocked, but Corey was not fazed since it was true.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"You know that information about anybody and anything in the Underworld can be gotten with the right price?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Calista questioned and Corey nodded slightly.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"So guess who has been safeguarding your information from those who want you?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Guess who has been protecting you for quite some time now?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Calista asked with an amused smile as she looked at Corey who had a slightly frustrated and annoyed expression.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He actually had the urge to face palm right now.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Corey exhaled once again, then he looked at Calista with an indifferent expression.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"So, what do you want Mrs. Manager?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>----\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>[A\u002FN: Sixth extra chapter.
