Chapter 5: Xie Qin
Immediately, she looked away indifferently.
Shen Li was wondering if she could ask the class monitor to change her seat after class; she didn't want to sit here.
When class ended, the four of them hadn't woken up yet.
Until a girl with a loose ponytail, holding books, walked to Xie Qin's side, smoothed her skirt, squatted down, and picked up his jacket.
"Xie Qin? Xie Qin…" The girl patted his shoulder and called him in a soft and sweet voice, "Classmate Xie Qin, class is over. I helped you pick up the jacket that fell on the floor and put it on the table."
She casually patted the dust off the jacket.
Xie Qin was woken up. His lazy, hazy eyes were filled with irritability, probably because he hadn't slept enough and was woken up again. He ran his hand through his hair with a bad temper. "Get lost!"
"Class is over, I kindly woke you up, what kind of attitude is that? You… I'm not going to talk to you anymore!"
The girl felt she had been humiliated in public and couldn't step down, so she stomped her feet in anger and turned to leave.
"Damn idiot."
Then they saw Xie Qin throw the jacket that had been touched by someone into the trash can.
Xu Zhouyuan had just woken up from the noise. "Damn, Brother Qin, I remember you just spent tens of thousands on this clothes, and you're throwing it away just like that? You're too inhumane."
Xie Qin's impatience was written all over his face.
Shen Li woke up in the last twenty minutes of class. Once she woke up, most of the girls in the classroom had left.
The teacher had assigned the project homework on the blackboard.
She copied it into her notebook.
After writing the last word.
Class Monitor: "Shen Li, you're so serious. Are you going to do this assignment?"
The assignment was to write a theoretical analysis report on a classic philosophical film.
"Mm, I have to."
Zhao Zhouyuan: "Send me the topic later, and we'll write it together."
Shen Li: "Okay."
Shen Li packed her things, put on her mask, and walked out the back door of the classroom with the class monitor.
Qiao Lang complained: "This person is quite the poser."
"Couldn't even study well in high school, and still expects to get ahead in a vocational college?"
"What was she doing before?"
Xu Zhouyuan rarely spoke up for Shen Li: "I don't agree with you there. What if the girl wants to turn over a new leaf and study hard?"
"Right, Brother Qin?"
Xie Qin played with the metal lighter in his hand, spun it a few times, lowered his eyes, and said a few words lightly: "She's definitely posing."
Qiao Lang: "Look, society's Brother Qin has seen countless women; when has his judgment ever been off?"
The scores to get into Chengde University were only one or two hundred; you could get in with your eyes closed. Generally, those who didn't get in were the ones who didn't even want to drift through life.
Xu Zhouyuan: "Birds of a feather flock together. You still expect a crappy vocational college like this to have good girls?"
"Are you kidding?"
Xie Qin and his group were different; their families all had some background. Even if they didn't study, after messing around for a few more years, they would directly inherit the family business.
…
University courses were two classes a day, half in the morning and half in the afternoon.
After the last class ended, Zhao Zhouyuan accompanied Shen Li to a nearby supermarket to buy some toiletries.
She had brought almost nothing when she left home.
Chengde University was not only a poor school, but the environment was also poor, not even as good as the high school next door. The road was under renovation, and they could only take a detour from the west gate, which took about ten minutes.
Shen Li suddenly suggested: "Class monitor, can I change my seat?"
Zhao Zhouyuan had never been a class monitor before; she had volunteered for the position herself.
Others didn't bother to fight for it; after all, it was thankless and had no real value, just sounding good. This title of 'class monitor' gave her a sense of vanity in her heart.
"This… might be a bit difficult, but I can try my best to help you ask others if they can swap seats with you."
8:30 PM.
In the 'Yeshe' music bar, Xie Qin sat with his legs spread, holding a few cards in his hand, leaning forward, and threw out a card.
Three or four brothers were all with their respective girlfriends. "Brother Qin, you can still get away with this? I don't believe you can win this round again!"
Qiao Lang played a 2 and announced his cards: "Three left."
Xu Zhouyuan: "Brother Qin, your girlfriend is here."
Song Yuewei arrived late, wearing a Chanel knitted skirt, and on her upper body was a V-neck crop top, her snowy, round breasts almost bursting out—she was curvy and well-endowed. Her long, curly hair was draped over her shoulders, and the bag she was carrying was a limited-edition LV gift from Xie Qin.
As soon as she arrived, the people around her consciously moved aside. Song Yuewei sat down beside him. "I'm sorry. Something came up at the Student Union, so I'm late."
"I'll punish myself with a drink."
Xu Zhouyuan jokingly called out: "Sister-in-law Number Twelve is very sensible!"
Sister-in-law Number Twelve, as the name implies, was the twelfth girlfriend he had dated over the years.
Song Yuewei wasn't angry at being called that; after all, Xie Qin was famous for changing girlfriends frequently. However, being called that by them, she didn't find it unacceptable; instead, she felt a sense of pleasure in having her status acknowledged.
Song Yuewei picked up the glass Xie Qin had drunk from and took a sip. Suddenly, she remembered something. "A-Qin, it's not convenient for me today. Can you help me drink it?"
Xu Zhouyuan 'tsk'ed. "It's that time of the month, why come out late at night? Isn't this just making Brother Qin suffer when you go to open a hotel room later?"
"Unless, you can still fight in the bloodbath?"
Xie Qin could be considered someone who could take a joke. He curled his lips and laughed. "Get lost!" As he said this, he took the glass from Song Yuewei's hand and drank the whiskey in one gulp, right where she had just sipped.
"Boring, not playing anymore." Xie Qin leaned back carelessly, crossing his legs. Song Yuewei smiled contentedly, her whole body clinging to Xie Qin, lying on his chest. She looked up at him: "Help me see if my lipstick is caking."
The perfume scent radiating from her body permeated his nose, carrying a bit of seduction. Xie Qin pinched her chin, tilted his head, looked at her with a bit of seriousness, and his gaze fell on her red lips again.
"Baby, your makeup is caking."
This sentence drew laughter from the people around him.
"Hahahaha, Sister-in-law Number Twelve wants you to kiss her, not to see if her makeup is caking. You're really too unromantic."
"Kiss her, kiss her!"
A group of people suddenly started booing.
Song Yuewei blushed instantly.
*Buzz buzz*—someone's phone on the table rang with a vibration sound, very abruptly.
One of the girls hurriedly reacted and said, "Sorry, I forgot to mute my phone."
When they went out to play, in order not to spoil the fun, their rule was to mute their phones or turn them off.
"Let me see who sent you a message."
Xu Zhouyuan took his girlfriend's phone and started checking. He clicked on the message; it was from Zhao Zhouyuan. "This is interesting."
"Brother Qin, look, it's all because you were too fierce that you scared her away."
Song Yuewei: "What's wrong?" ===== CHAPTER 6 =====
