Fan Tianlei, who had no other requests, left, and Lin Feng also put down his teacup.

"Leader, has the specific time for the upgrade been set?"

"Probably between March and May after the New Year."

As he spoke, He Zhijun looked at Lin Feng seriously.

"Don't you get any ideas, kid!"

"You won't be able to catch the free ride of the brigade upgrade."

"Of course, that includes all the team members under you."

"The reason is very simple, and you can figure it out yourself."

"May I ask, you won't have any emotional issues, will you?"

Emotional issues? How could that be?

The collective promotion of Lone Wolf Team B had only just happened not long ago; it was a very normal thing, and there was absolutely no misunderstanding!

Lin Feng shook his head with a smile: "Leader, you're overthinking it."

"As the sharpest commando unit in your hands,"

"if there were any good things and possibilities, wouldn't you fight for them?"

"So there won't be any emotional issues; I fully understand and support it."

These words sounded comfortable, and He Zhijun also revealed a satisfied smile.

"You've been out for over a month; have you made any progress, kid?"

Hearing this, Lin Feng refuted: "I don't agree with that."

"May I ask, when have I ever been unreasonable or unreasonable?"

"Hmph, is it few?"

He Zhijun glared: "When you want a mission or to seek benefits for your subordinates, have you ever gone soft?"

Speechless, these are two different things, okay?

"By the way, why are you asking about the specific time?"

He Zhijun was suspicious: "You said last time that you were going to the National Defense University after the New Year to complete your resume."

"Did you change your mind?"

"If so, absolutely not!"

"I'm warning you, things that should be done early shouldn't be delayed any longer."

Hearing this, Lin Feng felt a grievance as if it were snowing in June.

How could that be? Where did that come from?

"Leader, you're overthinking it again."

"I asked about the time just to congratulate you in advance."

"Just as you said, I'll be going to the National Defense University after the New Year and won't be at Langya."

"So I'm congratulating you in advance on your promotion to Senior Colonel at the division level."

"Stand up, salute the future general."

Stunned, He Zhijun was a bit confused, and his heart was filled with both worry and joy.

"Stop messing around, sit down for me."

"Leader, everyone else doesn't hit a smiling face, why are you doing the opposite?"

"Little Huang, go get my whip..."

"Alright, alright, you rest, I'll sit down, is that okay?"

After Lin Feng sat back down, He Zhijun also looked at him, his eyes flashing with ten thousand rays of light.

"I'm already at this age, do you still believe there's a possibility of being promoted to Major General?"

Hehe, as long as there are people, there are ambitions.

As long as there are soldiers, there is a dream of becoming a general.

This kind of curse, even He Zhijun was deeply trapped in it and couldn't get rid of it!

Facing the piercing gaze, Lin Feng put away his cheeky smile and appeared serious and solemn.

"Leader, your military service, party age, qualifications, resume, combat merits, and connections, etc."

"You're not lacking in any of these, and they are very solid."

"The biggest obstacle holding you back is the scale of the special forces!"

"As a godfather-level special operations pioneer, you have been strictly limited to the special operations sequence."

"A brigade establishment certainly can't contain a general."

"A special operations brigade also can't have a general in a low-level position."

"But what about a special operations base?"

As he spoke, a confident smile appeared on Lin Feng's face.

"Just as you said just now, it's a need for military reform and military development."

"Currently, it needs to be upgraded to a special operations brigade,"

"then in the future, it will need to be upgraded to a special operations base."

"As international relations and contradictions intensify,"

"it is imperative for the military to accelerate the construction of naval and army special forces."

"In a peaceful era, large-scale wars cannot break out."

"The two sides of the contradiction, or rather, the enemy and us,"

"can only compete in local and special fields."

"So in the future, you will definitely be promoted to general, and the time won't be too far apart."

Is that so?

At this moment, He Zhijun was very emotional: "Your vision is very long-term."

"This is definitely stronger than mine; I feel inferior!"

Lin Feng didn't dare to accept the praise and commendation.

What long-term vision?

He just occupied the convenience of being a transmigrator and knowing the plot...

The next second, He Zhijun shook his head again.

"Although I admit that what you said makes a lot of sense."

"But it's too idealistic!"

"Special forces are, after all, not regular field forces."

"A corps-level special forces establishment consumes a huge amount, enough to support three field group armies without any problems."

"Military funds are limited, and the tilt can't be that large."

"So the probability of all of them being upgraded to special operations bases is very slim."

These words were correct, and even more so, they were facts.

However, Lin Feng smiled noncommittally.

"Leader, you misunderstood; I didn't say all of them would be upgraded!"

"Just as you said, military funds are limited and insufficient to support it."

"But what about a single one? Will the tilt still be lacking?"
