Chapter 10: Borrowing a Hoe

Qiao Sheng hurried out of the space.

"Mother, no need to take medicine, I'm already much better now, I'll come out right away."

Seeing Qiao Sheng come out of the thatched hut, Xiao Shitou sized her up and asked: "Mother, are you really feeling better? If your stomach is still uncomfortable, we'll go get medicine."

"Mother, say it if you want to, don't say it if you don't want to."

Xiao Shitou lifted his gaze to Qiao Sheng and said.

Qiao Sheng came to her senses and said: "For now we can only borrow it from your Qiaoqiao Aunt; she's helped us so much, Mother will properly thank her later."

Xiao Shitou acknowledged with a sound and said nothing more.

"'Qiao'er, we won't sit down if we sit; we came to borrow a hoe.'"

Qiao Sheng spoke bluntly as soon as she opened the door.

Upon hearing that.

Zhang Qiao didn't ask further, had Qiao Sheng and company wait, and turned to fetch the hoe.

A strange, effeminate voice came from the side.
