Chapter 475

~2 min read 379 words

The document slowly ended, and in its place was a noble and elegant office.

The layout and decoration of the entire room were carefully designed, the walls were covered with dark templates, hundreds of years old oil paintings were hung on them, and thousand-year-old art pieces were placed on the cabinets.

Luxurious chandeliers hung down from above, dropping soft, silk-like light.

Four people in well-fitting formal wear surrounded a round table, sitting on the sofa, with different expressions.

They had different skin colors, hair colors, and eye colors.

They also had different ages, some were young people in their prime, and some were old people entering their twilight years.

But what was most striking was the identity marked on their badges:

O5-1, O5-2, O5-10, O5-13.

All four, without exception, were O5 councilors.

In this private space, the four O5 councilors began a discussion about Omega-7 "Pandora's Box."

On one side of the round table, O5-10 carefully observed the behavior of everyone at the scene, while cautiously controlling every expression and every muscle of her own.

She pondered how she should logically and rigorously recount the facts, letting those present recognize certain cognitive errors, without appearing like a—

Poor wretch whose memory had been modified.

Many memories related to Omega-7 emerged from her mind, and then flowed through her fingers like clear water, besides making her realize that the timeline and logic of the entire world had been changed into a mess, it didn't help much.

But this was enough.

She unfolded a long piece of paper prepared in advance, with dense markings on it.

Then, she raised her finger, pointing to the sign above.

"According to my investigation, there is a 95% chance that a TK-class event occurred in this world, just when almost all Omega-7 members were killed."

She placed another document on the side.

"In the Foundation's official version of the record, 'SCP-076-2' should be responsible for their deaths."

"But the time sequence provided by the survivors has inexplicable contradictions, and 076-2 has no explanation for his actions."

The other three O5 councilors remained unmoved, quietly watching O5-10.

This calm attitude made the latter feel a bit anxious.

As far as the present is concerned, all evidence and all testimonies point to a situation unfavorable to "Abel."
