Chapter 147

Sister Haitang smiled.

She, who was cold all year round, looked like a melting crystal-clear iceberg when she smiled.

It was breathtakingly beautiful.

"I really didn't misjudge you; it was worth me pestering the school leadership all these days."

Sister Haitang smiled gently: "I respect your decision!"

"And I will also, by the way, wait for your good news!"

"However... this matter of you wanting to take the college entrance exam is afraid to be a bit difficult right now."

Xu Zi'an was startled: "How so?"

"If the school won't take me, does that mean they won't even allow me to take the college entrance exam?"

Sister Haitang shook her head and said: "That's not it."

"Do you still remember the first person you eliminated, that is, your classmate?"

Xu Zi'an frowned: "Chang Shaokong? Him? What happened?"

"His father is a school board member of your school; you should be clear about that."

Sister Haitang said slowly: "During the few days you were in a coma,"

"his father used the excuse that you were the first to eliminate your own classmate during the assessment, claiming it was a personal vendetta."

"Then, joining forces with your school's principal, just this morning, they directly expelled you from Hucheng No. 3 Middle School!"

"Yes, not only can you no longer participate in the college entrance exam, but you are no longer even a student of Hucheng No. 3 Middle School."

Xu Zi'an was stunned.

He was dazed for a long while, let out a 'holy crap', and then said: "This is so ridiculous???"

"At the very least, I performed quite well in the assessment this time, right?"

"They just expel me from school whenever they feel like it?"

"Doesn't anyone oversee this matter???"

"Furthermore, they can even believe such a reason?"

"Are you kidding me???"

Hearing this, Sister Haitang nodded and said: "Of course there are people who oversee it."

"And the media has also blasted them to pieces!"

"But what can be done?"

"After all, your Hucheng No. 3 Middle School is a private academy!"

"It is not a public academy of the Federation!"

"The people above don't have much authority to manage their actions."

"Besides the media blasting them to pieces, and many parents stating they won't let their children attend this school next semester..."

"what else can be done to them?"

"To put it bluntly, Hucheng No. 3 Middle School is like a business; aside from these painless contents, there is simply no way to give them any further punishment."

"So... you should think carefully about how you can participate in the college entrance exam!"

Xu Zi'an was speechless.

Hucheng No. 3 Middle School... is a private school?

Fine.

Actually, he, as a student, only found out today.

But thinking about it, it makes sense; under normal circumstances, where would a public school have a school board member?

Only private schools have school board members.
